Pedi una habitación en piso alto y efectivamente fue asi, la vista era excelente y con mucho silencio. Algo pequeña lo más grande era la ducha pero para 4 noches sin problema. Había agua y dos bombones en la nevera como bienvenida. La cama cómoda . Todo limpio cada día. Muy funcional el hotel: WIFI muy bien y bastantes enchufes que agradeces. Desayuno correcto, con pasteles muy ricos es lo que variaban cada día . El resto siempre fue lo mismo. El café mejorable . Muy bien situado en el centro y cerca de la calle Picaría con bares y sitios para comer variados. Estación de metro Trindade a 10 min a pie, es la que te lleva al aeropuerto cada 15 min en 40 min. Personal joven y muy amable.

They were responsive to my emails prior to my arrival. My flight was delayed in Porto and arrived around 1 am when there was a staff waiting for me upon arrival (24 reception). I'd say the room was enough for me, essentials were provided such as shampoo, and body wash. The room is cleaned every day. The hotel is quite a walk from the old town though (20-30mins), and going back it is a really steepy hill so I'd advise to wear comfy shoes if you're walking to/from the hotel. Although there is a bus stop nearby and Ubers are relatively cheap. Breakfast wise- there is no hot food but you get your bread, fruit, yoghurt (continental breakfast). The staff were very helpful during my stay- very hospitable!! i would book again here to stay if I was in Porto.

Saya telah tinggal di apartmen ini untuk seketika. Walaupun lokasi tidak begitu selesa, kemudahan pangsapuri lain adalah lengkap. Memandangkan musim sejuk semasa saya mula-mula berpindah ke hotel ini, saya dapati pangsapuri ini tidak mempunyai penghawa dingin apabila saya memasuki musim panas. Kakitangan berpindah ke apartmen lain kumpulan itu, dan mereka segera bersetuju, jadi apartmen ini sangat berbaloi untuk disyorkan pada musim sejuk

Anche se su booking dicono che il check-in viene fatto nel pomeriggio. Noi abbiamo chiamato la mattina alle 8 e la signora che ci ha risposto al telefono, anche se non parlava ne italiano ne inglese, un po' di spagnolo lo sapeva. Così ci siamo messi d'accordo e fatto l'ingresso in mattinata dopo un ora. Arrivati al albergo troviamo una dolcissima vecchietta ( la signora con quale ci siamo accordati per telefono ) e sorpresa quando siamo saliti nella stanza. Un upgrade da una stanza con letti singoli uno sopra l'altro. A una bellissima matrimoniale al ultimo piano sotto tetto. La stanza molto pulita e silenziosa. Ci siamo goduti un meritevole riposo dopo la caminata sotto la pioggia. Al check-out la bella signora della struttura alle tre di notte e uscita fino alla reception per salutarci. Ottimo WiFi. Grazie e alla prossima 🙏

Casa Do Conto If you enjoy the finer things in life, have style and appreciate the best customer service and a personal approach this hotel is for you. The styling of the interior in this hotel is just breathtaking and in my opinion I think it would be difficult for anyone to disagree. The furniture in the breakfast area and the lounge, as well as the bedrooms is worthy of a Centre spread in a home magazine. Sometimes I didn’t want to leave to enjoy the City. Breakfast is amazing at Casa Do Conto. Simple, elegant but plentiful and all presented like it was fit for a King. The staff will happily cook your eggs exactly as you wish to order and mine tasted great everyday. Homemade ‘daily’ changeable items made each breakfast that little bit different and exciting. The staff. Well. They really do bring Casa Do Conto alive. Everyone working here is so lovely and helpful and they really did make us feel special. Super helpful with local knowledge and recommendations and always with a genuine smile. Other reports say a Nespresso machine would be good in the room and I agree but I did notice one in the lounge too and to be honest it made me get down into the beautiful room with the very tasteful music playing at breakfast that little bit earlier. Location we thought was perfect. Out of the hustle and bustle but a short enough walk to the Centre. We tried to mix up the walk to and from the hotel by taking different routes. And finally. The Sister hotel ‘Tipografia Do Conto’ that you have access to is just as wonderful. Bit more hip with a bar but a must see if you stay here. Even to be nosey. We had a few drinks late evening in the garden and was most pleasurable. Staff equally good as Conto. I could live in Casa Do Conto

Location was perfect, far enough away from the busy city centre but still convenient for cool bars, restaurants etc. Our room was perfect, beautiful decor, very comfortable bed and private access to the gorgeous garden. Staff couldn't be more helpful with advice of where to visit in and around Porto. Sara in particular was delightful - so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her and she made the most delicious omelettes in the morning! The restaurant food was amazing, we ate there twice during our stay for dinner. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Porto.

Firstly, tips: driving there, there is not really anywhere to park. The hotel is on a one-way street, drive past the entrance and turn in where the blue P is - they have an agreement for hotel guests to park there. reception. It's under the old building, walk down the path and turn right when you're on the other side of the building. The hotel is a lovely fusion between the original old building at the front and a new building built behind it. The new building has most of the rooms in it and it's where you'll likely be located. We initially had a room geared to people with disabilities which was a compromise in many ways for us (e.g. mirror height in bathroom). A different room solved that any many issues making our stay pleasant.

PPengguna TetamuThe hostel is very clean, it is cleaned every day. The breakfast was better than in some hotels. The beds were new and comfortable and each bed has a socket and a reading lamp. Unfortunately there are no curtains on the beds, but the beds are placed in such a way that you have enough privacy. The doors are built in such a way that they cannot be closed quietly and in the room you can hear people from the stairwell, but that's because it's an older house. This hostel is not in the center. But the area is very pleasant and you can easily walk back even in the dark and there are restaurants and cafes nearby. The hostel has a bar, but you can't hear it in the rooms. The shower facilities and the locker are great. Because everything was outside the room, you could sleep well. There is a bath towel and toiletries in the shower.

PPengguna TetamuThis Porto hotel has only been open a couple of years. It is a little bit away from the Douro river, about a 15-20 in walk, and the historic area but it is right on the Metro Red Line which is the one that goes to and from the airport. It is also only one stop to the Trindade station which connects to other lines and down to the river. The Lapa station is a short walk to/from the hotel. The hotel is very nice and very accommodating, the rooms are good sized, there is an in-house restaurant and bar, along with an outdoor bar with a limited menu by the pool, which often has music in the evenings. The morning breakfast buffet has many choices and was well presented, thanks to Isabela and Jorbert who took good care of us each morning. There is no Executive lounge or full-time concierge but the front desk and bell staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Joao was a great bartender for an evening stop at the bar. Views are across the roofs of Porto and the hotel is so new, there is still vacant lot on one side, that is left over from construction and the closest route to the hotel from the Metro is across a trail through a dirt lot (you can take sidewalks that take a little longer). Would return on another trip to Porto.

The location is good - fairly quiet in the evenings, a few shops and restaurants walking distance, not far to the Faria Guimaraes Metro station. Inexpensive Uber ride to historic areas. The hotel spaces were well kept, clean and modern. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Wish we had spent a bit more time in the outdoor space!

Spotlessly clean room, shower and bathroom. Shower did not flood the room in our case. Very comfortable big bed taking up most of the room. Not a lot of circulation space or place to put clothes. Booked room only and staff advised nearby bakeries for breakfast which worked fine for us. No kettle on arrival but staff provided this with no fuss. Nearby metro sound didn’t bother us and its proximity was ideal for trips into city (3 stops). Boavista indoor food mall excellent within 5 minutes walking. Good value for what it cost. Would stay there again. The construction of a new metro line opposite does create a bit of noise but if you’re out during the day it’s not a problem (not the hotel’s fault)!

NNavigator45896578922Hidden away in plain sight on a beautiful square, the hotel entrance, reception area, breakfast area and staircase are full of beautiful original features. These disappear higher up unfortunately, as the building has obviously been through renovation and extension. My room was a decent size with a lovely terrace complete with sun loungers and a view over gardens; very pretty. Smart, decent sized bathroom with nice toiletries and a lovely walk in shower. On the down side, there were no drawers in the room at all, only four clothes hangers on an open hanging frame and no light near the mirror. There is room for a set of drawers and would have welcomed some. Breakfast was a good spread every day: lovely bread and pastries, toaster, fruit, cold meats etc but after a couple of mornings it was all a bit same-y. Great coffee machine! Reception is staffed 24/7 and every member of staff was really pleasant and helpful. A good 20minute downhill walk down to the historic centre was pleasant - a bit less so on the way back up! The hop on hop off bus stop is just across the square so that was very convenient too. All in all a lovely place to stay and I would recommend

PPengguna TetamuTypical of the Portuguese Hotels we have had on our Bunnik tour on the Portuguese leg. Stairs and no ramp to get suitcases into the hotel and a bit if a shortage of staff to help. No tea and coffee or free water in the room only one free plug on one side of a double bed. Our bathroom toiletries was a shower cap but there were squeeze bottles of shower gel,shampoo and bath gel attached to the shower. Only one glass in the room although we were in a room for couples; there were 2 small ones in the bathroom. The tiny glasses allowed you to have some water to brush your teeth so you don't bang your head on the overhead cupboard mirror which is totally unnecessary since it doesn't hold anything. The basin was so shallow that you dare not leave it running long. There was a bidet if you need one, otherwise it just takes up valuable bathroom realestate. One of the few hotels without a pool and reliable WiFi in our room. No news in English. but old movies overdubbed in Portuguese. I was told that they were working on upgrading their WiFi. On the plus side, the room was clean, breakfast was plentiful with a good range of food. Thr staff as helpful as as was possible. The area is good for access to art galleries and eateries.

정정규숙기차역에서 돌바닥 비탈길을 조금 걸어 올라가긴 하지만 10~12분 거리로 가까워요. 캐리어가 무거우면 조금은 힘든 정도.
주요 핫플레이스와 거의 5~10분 거리이며 아담하고 깨끗해요. 객실의 나무바닥과 화장실의 타일 바닥이 깨끗하고 촉감이 좋아서 맨발로 걸어 다녔어요. 여행 끝자락이라 피로가 심했는데 금방 콸콸 쏟아지는 따뜻한 샤워 세번으로 몸이 가뿐해졌어요.
웰컴드링크와 조식에 직접 만들어 먹은 크레페도 재미있었어요. 친절한 여자 직원분이 요리법도 살짝 알려주시고 아들에게 전문 셰프같다며 엄지척도 해 주시고. 카운터나 식당 직원들의 밝은 미소와 인사도 인상적이네요.
더블룸이었는데 입구쪽에 소파 비슷한 엑스트라 베드가 하나 더 있어 침대 겸 소파로 사용했어요. 소리에 민감하지 않은 편이라 밤새 돌바닥을 구르는 차바퀴 소리와 빗소리도 운치있게 들었던 것 같아요.
여행 중 급하게 구한 곳인데 조식포함 가격도 가장 저렴해서 13일 동안의 숙소 중 가장 만족스럽네요.

PPengguna TetamuThe treatment I received at this hostel was despicable, unreasonable and hostile. My flight was delayed for 5 hours and whilst in airport I received a very encouraging email from 'so cool' explaining reception closes at 9pm and if I haven't checked in by then I would have to wait to the morning. Having found somewhere else to stay for that night, I turned up at this hostel the next morning, the rigid lady at reception simply wasn't interested or concerned in the least of my predicament and informed me I was a ”no show” and my room was gone for the whole 3 nights I'd booked. I asked for a partial refund for the further 2 nights as I was now having to find somewhere else to stay and would have to pay top price, she was not interested to know this and told me there would be no refund and no room. Whilst I understand policies are policies I think a bit of allowance for unforeseen circumstances wouldn't go amiss. I had no control of my flight being delayed and had I not received the welcome text reminding me of reception opening hours I would have thought twice about contacting them, their communication was confusing and had mixed messages. More unforgivably is the attitude of the manager even when she knew I had nowhere to go and would need the partial refund to secure alternative accomodation, she was not losing any money and had sold my bed twice. I have used *********** for years to book hostels and I have never received such harsh heartless treatment. Whilst I get business is business, there's more to life than a computer database and rigid rules that don't allow for unforeseen circumstances. The rigid lady tried to tell me it was *********** who cancelled me but this was just a lie,. Thankfully the 'hostel Rosalina' saved my bacon and were a fantastic contrast to ”so cool's awful treatment. The receptionist was wonderful and helpful and her friendliness reassured me Porto was not full of heartless money grabbing robots. Avoid this hostel if you're not going to be there for 9pm or you have any chance of a flight delay. .
