We got very cozy house with own bathroom and it was really good. You get everything you need there. Good equiped kithcen area, indoor dinner place and outdoor terrace, bathroom is also good for this type of accomodation. Pool was already open in May, but it was a little bit cold for it, but it looks nice. Cozy territory makes you feel in a forest. We stayed there for night on our Camino Way, but I wish I could stay there for longer.

This gem of a hotel shines because of the kindness and the attention to detail by the front office staff. I arrived early, and my baggage was of course lost by Iberia, but the reception staff was very kind, generous, helpful. I got an early check in, they got on the phone with Iberia multiple times to check on the status of the Baggage. The room was comfortable, clean, tidy and really really excellent. Breakfast was really sumptuous, and had a wide variety of options. Highly recommend this place to anyone who visits Porto- especially those who get on the Camino. Or others as well.

Beautiful well equipped spacious room! I stayed here for 5 days and I couldn't be happier. Staff was warm, welcoming and very helpful. My only con is they go really really heavy on a perfume room spray in the hotel lobby that was just WAY TOO MUCH. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and I had to cover my nose going thru the lobby. But otherwise, the stay was excellent. There's a fitness center, a spa with different services, a nice dining area for breakfast - and the breakfast was excellent! Great choice of hot and cold drinks, fruit, wide variety of breads, cereals, hot food and pastries. I didn't actually use my breakfast option until the final day and I wish I had because it was actually VERY GOOD. The dining area was spacious and the staff attentive. In my room - my bed was HUGE, king sized, very comfortable. The balcony was lovely with seating. There was plenty of closet and desk space. A large screen flat with a lot of cable television channels from all over the world. The bathroom was spacious, clean, equipped and the shower was a huge walk in with hot water and great water pressure. I enjoyed my staff - I was even granted a late check out and they stored my luggage as I took one last lap of the city before leaving for the airport - which is NEARBY! I also took the public 500 bus into centre Porto a few days, so fast and convenient - the bus cost 2.50 EURO. Recommend the stay 100%!

I booked this hotel, however, while booking I mixed my months up (March for May). Once I realized, I tired to get my reservation changed from March to May, I tried to call the hotel and no answer, I downloaded their app to message them since they do not have an email. The person who responded on the app let me know that the hotel will be in touch and they can not connect me directly. Then my reservation time to check in came up and finally someone was emailing but but that was to tell me I was too late and I will be charged. I sent screenshots of my call log and shared how I messaged through the app. The customer service was TERRIBLE, they blamed me and offered no solutions. I told them it was clearly just a mixed up on the months because its the same days needed. They also blamed me for having to turn away customers because they were full and could have used my room. It looks beautiful but if you have any issues, don't expect to hear back from them or for any help.

PPengguna TetamuOs quartos são bons e muito limpos, a cama de casal é grande e confortável e a estadia numa forma geral foi positiva, embora tenham coisas a melhorar! Deviam de disponibilizar mais almofadas e mais 1 edredão de reserva nos armários! O caixote do lixo do WC não tinha saco, e tb fez falta um cesto para o lixo no quarto! Podiam também disponibilizar um copo para as escovas de dentes e shampo e gel de banho, pois só tinham sabonete para as mãos! O hotel é moderno e descontraido, prova disso foi o momento da saida em que a pessoa que estava a limpar a cozinha nos veio fazer o check out, super simpática, mas com luvas de limpeza molhadas .

The hotel is two star but, for once, I thought it was better. The rooms are not too small and have everything you'd want with the exception of a tea/coffee maker. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Everything worked in the bathroom and the water was hot. There are two shower heads -- rain forest and hand held. Breakfast was very good with lots of bakery products, fruit, cereal, seeds and prunes, cheese and meat, little cakes, fresh juices etc. Breakfast starts at 0730h. There is 24h front desk. Room entry is by a unique 6 digit code. Wifi works well. The hotel is next to a very large shopping centre and opposite a Lidl. Only 5 minutes from Sete Bicas metro station. Easy access to the airport, Porto and the railway station.

I cannot fault this hotel. The staff are very friendly and multilingual. The quality of the hotel food and services is excellent. The whole place is very clean and well maintained. The bedrooms are spacious and quiet. The hotel is well situated for accessing the university and local shops.

On our recent visit there we decide to spend a couple of days in this hotel, so to see the off center attractions.The room price was very fair. The hotel is quite modern and also simple. Nice rooms and very clean too. Complimentary continental breakfast is served in buffet style. Actually there is not a true bar, but a ”bar corner” which is OK for a couple of beers or some wine. As we had a car, we are not able to comment on transport connections.

Great place to stay in Matosinhos. For a very decent price you get an incredible breakfast, very clean rooms, amazingly friendly employees, 5 minutes walking distance from a beautiful beach and 20 minutes bus from center of Oporto. In the area, there are multiple restaurants, mostly local restaurants, excellent fish restaurants. Extremely quiet environment, where you can sleep late in the morning. You can enjoy seagull cry and the neighborhood coq to recall you are on earth. Great place with great people.

Booked for a week long stay in this hotel, & was disappointed on arrival. Receptionist was rude, the room was completely visible from the street with no privacy curtains, so we could either keep the blackout curtains completely closed or have absolutely no privacy from a very busy intersection. Also, the toilet seat, bathroom door & air conditioning were all broken or faulty. We didn’t make a fuss because we were planning to spend our days out & at the beach, which is 10 min walk away. But we then had a family emergency back home & had to cut our trip short, & rearrange our flights urgently. We asked about getting a partial refund for the days we couldn’t stay, offering to pay a cancellation fee, as we were trying to pay for last minute flights home. The receptionist was INCREDIBLY rude & dismissive. He not only refused to help, but told us to “go away” for a few hours, saying he would call management but refused to do so on the spot, for no reason. We told him we were in a hurry trying to arrange flights home & he simply shrugged, annoyed. He didn’t try to call anyone or suggest he couldn’t at that time, he was simply refusing to & told us to go away for a few hours, when we were trying to make urgent arrangements. I called Urban Hotel offices seven times with no response, emailed about the situation & got no assistance, no refund, no credit, no basic help. An utterly subpar hotel, but the lack of politeness, basic respect & compassion was appalling. Would advise against staying here.
