I have enjoyed my stay at Retaj hotel. Good hotel and good customer service.

Pros: good heating system. Polite staff. Cons. Food is not good. No activities. No privacy in room there are door with open bottom and walls are not sound proof.

Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable. From the moment we stepped in, we were impressed by the spacious and well-designed room, which was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and the ambiance of the room made it a perfect place to relax after a busy day. The service was exceptional throughout our stay. The staff was always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any request. Every interaction reflected their commitment to providing outstanding service, making us feel truly valued. The hotel facilities were fantastic, from the relaxing lounge to the well-equipped fitness center and spa. A special mention goes to the beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby, which added a festive touch to the entire experience. Overall, the professionalism and warmth of the staff, combined with the excellent room and facilities, made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a blend of comfort, quality, and outstanding service!

Souq Al Wakra hotel is a unique property with all sixty or so rooms on the same ground floor level. This former fishermen accommodation, converted into a 5-star hotel provides a perfect ambience to immerse yourself into local culture with close proximity to the sea and local population, literally at its doorstep. The sunrise every day and full moon once every 28 or 29 days are spectacular events not be missed at this location.

Based on prices, it’s best on Doha. Also nearby public transport available. Only 10-15 QR to reached on Airport by Uber. and 2 QR by and and Metro. As it is a hostel, don’t ask for to many things but if you stay you may like this place. Also they have kitchen, if you want's to cook you can. Also you can bring your own food and enjoy it here! Overall, it’s best for a backpacker and budget traveller who want's to travel on Doha and stay here for few day's. Chill!!

The hotel is as you would expect at this price except the heater control did not work properly in my room and the net curtains are not in good condition. I did not get to check out the facilities because Qatar airways bumped me off my flight at under 48 hours notice so I lost 6 hour I should have had at the hotel and I could not cancel. DO NOT BOOK this hotel unless you get a cancellable bookign because Qatar have done this to me twice now, they won't refund the booking (even though they apparently own the hotel).

Good and comfortable we are very happy. We celebrate our Christmas party

The positives: affordable compared to many other hotels, close to a metro station, a supermarket and the airport, rooms were decently sized and okay clean (apart from some bathroom mold). Staff was overall quite friendly. The negatives: it is a very dated hotel, giving a bit of a 90s vibe, and there are quite a few signs of wear and tear. The rooms smell of smoke, not extremely so but enough to be noticeable. And you will hear yours neighbours’ wake-up alarms, strange noises from the plumbing, as well as the highway outside. But even worse than that, they have a nightclub and you will here the bass pumping in your room regardless which floor you are on. Sometimes the bed even vibrated a bit. I was offered another room in the smoking area because of this ( I declined), and the staff promised to speak to the night club and then get back to me (they didn’t) I would not quote Warwick and call this an “Upscale Hotel”, it does not even suffice if you want to get some sleep. This gets one star from a European/Nordic perspective, but as it was my first Qatari hotel I do not know how commonplace these things are there.
