Pros: Very good location, and friendly service. Coffee machine 24 hours in lobby. Cons: The deluxe room (204) has a shower right inside the entrance to the bathroom, ensuring a super wet floor on marble throughout the night. If this were the US this would be a liability issue, since it is very easy to slip on that floor at night. 2. Wall paper is peeling. 3. Floor was stained with red syrup. Had to call and have it mopped. 4. Design is comical, with soaring ceilings in lobby and gaudy furniture. Huge bathtubs (Note: They are NOT hot tubs, even though the are described as such by various sites), but made out of plastic. Did not try breakfast. Looked skimpy. Biggest con (not about the hotel itself) is cost: Booking(dot)com charges roughly 30-40% more than anyone else (Agoda, etc.), and they make it impossible to contact them to take advantage of price matching, with a dead customer support email address, and a phone system run by bots. Avoid Booking(dot)com!!!More

This hotel is new, and has clean facilities, but, as per other reviewers, the management and reception (particularly for non-thais) is horrific. I had the same problem as others when I asked for a second keycard. They refused unless I paid an exorbitant fee, in addition to the massive damage deposit they require, and the additional first keycard deposit they require. The staff stopped assisting me several times to assist thai guests, making every interaction 4 to 5 times longer than necessary. This felt discriminatory and rude. When I asked to speak with management about several issues, I was told they were either not there or that they were not available--staff refused to call them on the phone ir give me a phone number to call. I gave my mobile number and was never called. I was scheduled to stay for 10 nights, but left after one. This place sucks and there are better options around the corner. My advice, stay away! Additionally--room beds are rock hard, water in showers is not hot, and the glasses in the room are literally the size of a double shot glass. Ridiculous.

I spent one night here as part of my 2022 north-south road trip. At a walk in rate of 750 THB it is pretty average as budget hotels go. The negative reviews here are pretty accurate: the rooms are well-worn, dated and require maintenance and a thorough cleaning. On a positive note: the hot water, air-conditioning, refrigerator worked fine and there were some English Language channels on the television. The room had a water boiler so that was a plus. There is ample parking for those who self-drive. Good enough for a one night stay.

Excellent, friendly, service-mind and flexible staff. Located on a great location. Very nice and quiet. Great distance for a morning jogging or walk to and from a mermaid. Good food with reasonable price. Clean room. Unfortunately this place need some extra ramp or some step less for a wheelchair user. Such as an important areas: Main hotel building, villa, restaurant and reception.

Post pandemic shackles off, wanted to try more hidden corners of Thailand, so came to Songkhla, an hour east of Hat Yai airport, to see the old town, an area with plenty of history and charm. Over the last few years, tiny cafes, galleries, and shops have opened, but town is not yet gentrified. Boutique hotel Baan Nai Nakhon is in the middle of all of this, decorated with a mix of quirky timeworn furniture and ceramics, and handmade mosaics by the laid-back & multi-lingual owner Danny, that used to fly for Thai Air. Breakfast starts at 730 in his garden cafe with heart and flower shaped fruits, and the main can be a dish of amazing roti. Just a perfect hotel to explore Songkhla old town from

What a beautiful place in the middle of the old town of Songkhla. The hotel is decorated with many memorabilia and beautiful art and photos. The rooms are nice. The staff is great, incredibly helpful. I definitely recommend it to everybody!

Mmuy_felizBooked for a friend. He enjoyed staying there, said it’s a simple place suitable for spending a night, good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms without unpleasant smells, plus the beach is close.
The only thing that may be a problem for some are neighboring insects and lizards.

JjayovesA truly tranquil hostel in the midst of Songkhla. If you're searching for a place to truly relax, discover yourself and search your soul, look no further. My gentle longings for love, life and adventure were rekindled in this magical place. It is a place for soul searching and self re-discovery. The owner is full of humility and grace. He reminds me of a long lost uncle of sorts. Full of wisdom, and colorful life experience. An architect by trade, he structured the Hostel to feel like a serene, meditative home-away-from-home. After staying for more than 10 days, I've fallen in love with the atmosphere of Songkhla, the small town vibes, and this hostel.

EESKAY WBig bed and big room at a reasonable rate with American breakfast for 2. Location is at a quiet and romantic island in the lake, Koh Yo. Scenery is beautiful at the boat restaurant. Watch the evening sunset and early morning sunrise. The only setback is the small water shower installed in every room. Overall is value for money.

AAlfazenSamila Beach is far from Hatyai city Centre,need to take transport out.They got a mini van pickup at the clock Tower,cost is much cheaper but take longer time.there got horse ride at the beach.the mermaid statue people que up to take photo.Its so windy that day I went.Maybe its December.

Songkhla Old Town is a quiet, lovely city, worth visiting for a relaxing walk along the streets, looking at the architecture. Old and beautiful houses, delicious food, local snacks, and chic cafes. The villagers are kind-hearted. Came here to visit and was very impressed.
