We stayed at this hotel in mid-July 2024 during a visit to Ann Arbor. It was our first time at an Even Hotel, and it was a good stay. The hotel is located right next to I-94, and our room was on the side of the hotel facing the mall and away from the highway-facing side of the hotel. So we cannot report on whether the road noise would have been notable had our room been facing the highway. We did not notice any highway noise in our room located on the opposite side of the hotel. Even Hotels have exercise equipment and yoga mats (wrapped as ”cleaned for your convenience”) in each room, which was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable, the sheets were soft, and the towels were thick. The bathroom had sufficient towel hooks, and the shower worked great except for a clogged drain one day that maintenance fixed after we reported it. Our only complaint with the room (Room 436) was that the toilet had the loudest flush noise, resembling the sound of a jet engine starting. Our IHG Diamond status entitled us to free breakfast. Even Hotels have a limited breakfast menu that seems to be the same regardless of where the hotel is located. There was nothing on that menu that spouse was interested in trying, so we ended up getting breakfast outside the hotel and opted for the points amenity instead. (Our Diamond status also netted us a room upgrade, which we had to decline after noticing that it had only a single bed instead of the two beds we had reserved.) The hotel's location near the highway made it very convenient to get around to other places, including Ypsilanti for excellent Mexican food one evening (at Maiz Mexican Cantina -- be sure to try the Camarones à la Diabla if you like spicy shrimp) and a Tigers baseball game in Detroit, and it was also very easy to get back and forth to places located in Ann Arbor itself. The front desk workers were very nice. Since it was a points and free nights certificate stay, we were surprised to see a charge on our credit card for $42.46 after we had returned home, but a quick phone call to the property resulted in a credit being promptly applied to our account removing the charge. We would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful stay ! Truly amazing ! The room was well tended too and I felt as though all my concerns were addressed. Staff was kind and the area felt safe!
Terima kasih terima kasih

I must say, by far, Ann Arbor Regent Hotel & Suites have the most amazing staff. The front desk was so helpful with different suggestions as I didn't know the area. The room was rented for a wedding in which we were tasked with getting the bride ready. Of course, no wedding starts on time. The hotel was absolutely amazing in ensuring we were ok when we were panicked that we were way over late check out time getting prepared. The staff was able to calm ruffled feathers to allow us to get a happy bride to her wedding.
The Stone Chalet is a delightful and eclectic, home away from home tucked into a beautiful Ann Arbor neighborhood just blocks away from the University of Michigan. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The owners and staff are warm and lovely. Each morning, we enjoyed a yummy home cooked breakfast in the dining room where we were able to eat with our friends and also chat with some other lovely guests. We would definitely stay here again.

Don’t let the pictures online fool you! My stay here did not live up to expectations or my past stays at other Staybridge hotels (or other IHG hotels in other cities around the world, for that matter). However, my stay was not all negative, so let me focus on the positives first. Let me note that while I stayed here for one night while in the process of moving to a new city, I did not have the breakfast here, nor did I use the hotel’s amenities, so this review will skip those parts of the stay. The hotel’s location is very convenient, located just off I-94 which provides easy access to DTW as needed. It is also located to a lot of nearby restaurants and stores, although a bit of a drive from the University of Michigan if you are here for the university. The lobby provides a cheery, refreshing welcome upon entering, and the front desk staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms are also pretty spacious, no surprise given this is a hotel composed of suites. The bed is also very comfortable and I received a good night sleep. But that’s pretty much where it all ends positivity wise… Despite the room being spacious, it seems as if housekeeping does not do their job as the room was very dirty upon entering. There were also stains on the walls and there were even blood stains in certain areas of the washroom. Absolutely disgusting, and especially unacceptable especially during pandemic times! The shower was also below average and water pressure was quite weak. If I had to describe what the shower experience was like at this hotel, it was almost as if the water was trickling. Seriously. It seems as if there are a numerous amount of hotels in close proximity to this one. I would most certainly look at those other options, because other people are pointing out the same flaws as me online. 2 stars seems just right for me given that there were some positives about my stay here.
This quirky and homey B&B was delightful! It's a perfect location to the university and walking into town for restaurants & shops. Pat, the proprietor, was friendly and responsive to any and all requests. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, some with outdoor spaces and each of our bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms. There were great amenities (fridge, microwave, snacks, tea, etc). The rooms could use a deep cleaning but aside from that, met all our needs. The breakfast in the morning was great (both food set- yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee) and freshly prepared eggs or quiche! The main area has different collectibles housed on the shelves. If you want a true B&B experience, this is the place!
This place is fantastic! My suite was roomy, clean, modern, comfortable, and incredibly affordable for the location. Much nicer than many hotels I've stayed in. I'm really glad my usual hotel near campus was booked or I would not have found this. The unit had everything: nice spacious bathroom, separate bedroom with a firm, comfortable bed, sofa, FULL kitchen with nice new appliances, washer/dryer (which I didn't use but they look brand new and nice -- not noisy old things you find in some rentals), smart TV, fast wifi, an outside porch with a nice view over 4th street, and it was quiet. I didn't need a car to get to campus but if you bring one, there is a structure nearby and street parking (but you'll have to pay for street parking too). Highly recommended!

GGerseneGood location and good theme.
Happy with everything except there is no parking for hotel guest, so we have to walk 2 blocks to park. Very unthoughtful.
Hotel per se is nice.
PPengguna TetamuWe had a challenging situation that was handled above and beyond what we expected. Isaiah, at the front desk, took the time to listen and understand. He spoke with the manager and got back with us. The customer service and helpfulness was top notch. I would highly recommend this location and the friendly people.
It was OK, but that's as far as I can go. Overall, what the place lacked was the warmth, cleanliness and welcome that one would expect. Our room was decent. It has a ”cooler” but no microwave. The bathroom sink is located outside of the tub/toilet area, which was nice. Adequate counter space. But the beds and pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. We did not get housekeeping services one day, and were left with dirty towels on the floor with no replacements, which we then asked for at the front desk. The fitness room was not cleaned as dirty towels were strewn about the floor and equipment. The complimentary coffee in lobby consisted of one caff and one decaf carafe, with 2 large pumps of Coffee Mate. (yuk!) The lobby cafe and bar was very overpriced ($26 for 3 medium coffees and $50 for 2 drinks!). We entertained some family in the lounge area, and had asked for the fireplace to be turned on to take the chill off the room and add some ambiance. We were told that the fireplace hasn't worked for 3 years! The lounge area had dirty cups and napkins and crumbs on the furniture and tables, which we cleaned up before we could sit down.
PPengguna TetamuWe had such negative, disappointing experience at this hotel, from our check-in to check-out. As we had power outage, we decided to stay at this hotel. On Internet it said $155 for the room with two queen size beds. My husband called and made a reservation. Upon arrival we were told that there’s no room so we had to wait for a while. The front desk staff called my husband loud (she said “Smith!!”, not “Mr. Smith”) and we were offered a room with only a dim desk light working. The lights in the bathroom and bedsides didn’t work. Later, they explained that the electric company put a limit on their electricity use. We were told to use “the flashlight on your phone” to take shower. The room was cold no matter we set the temperature higher and not so clean (tired). At check out, nobody was present at the front desk. I waited for 10 minutes and a staff came out reluctantly. She charged us $240. I asked her why and she said “because we didn’t have full electricity”. We are very disappointed because this hotel basically took advantage of those of us who needed a warm, lit place to stay during a power outage by charging $100 more that their usual price. The quality of the service and their hygiene standard were disappointing. My husband called Hilton customer service afterwards, but they were not nice nor understanding at all, transferred the call multiple times over 30-40 minutes. We have been a Hilton honors member but we will switch to Marriot. One last note: when we were waiting to check in, a homeless person with lots of paper bags came in casually, grabbed a paper cup in the breakfast room across the front desk, attempted to get some coffee from the dispenser. He put his cup back when he realized that there’s no coffee left. There were two staff at the front desk and one cleaning staff close to him but they really didn’t care, it appeared that this person was a frequent visitor.
I was a little nervous about staying at a Holiday Inn for my daughter’s graduation since I’m more accustomed to higher end hotels. However, I really enjoyed this particular hotel. The desk people were all very friendly, courteous and professional. The lobby and dining area were always bright, clean and updated. The included breakfast was good and there’s always coffee and tea available all day and night. My room was a good size, clean, comfy bed and sheets and nice modern furnishings. Towels that were soft versus crunchy. Washer a dryer on each floor which is handy. I used the gym which is small but fine, and it has an indoor pool with a bunch of nice lounge chairs and tables. Amber was really great in accommodating a couple of special requests I made, and very nice and professional. Melissa in dining was outstanding. Honestly she’s a real asset to this place. I rarely see someone working so much with so much care, so diligently and always friendly and funny and helpful. Another testament to this hotel. It was also about an 8 minute drive to UM.
PPengguna TetamuWe only stayed here because we had expiring points with Choice, so it was free. This placed was the definition of average. Just because a hotel is at the lower end of the spectrum, it doesn't mean that it has to be drab and uninspired. Our room felt tired and out of date. The handle for the sink faucet was broken and not working properly. There were several pillows, but they were all kind of the same and none were comfortable. However, the biggest problem was the noises. The mini fridge had a constant hum all night. Occasionally it would get covered up when the heat roared to life with its deafening sound...it also blew the window curtains all over the place. The sound was so loud it would interrupt our sleep throughout the night.
JJo Ann TThis hotel seemed to also be used by people on a long term basis. When checking in the young man emphasized that there was no smoking in any of the rooms. The man in the room right next to ours appeared to be almost a chain smoker, standing outside smoking and leaving many butts on the floor. An employee came by and cleaned up the butts as we arrived but there were an equal amount outside in the morning. The room was clean but there was no coffee or coffee pot in the room. They did have coffee in the office which we availed ourselves of. The sink was new and modern.
MMonaiwagePagi hotel adalah baik dan ia layan diri. Meja penyambut tetamu di sini juga sangat mengalu-alukan. Sangat mudah untuk menaiki teksi ke sekolah.
