PPengguna TetamuA knock on our door at 8pm my wife opened the door to be met by the front desk lady aggressively telling her “multiple complaints about excessive noise and shouting from our room, she had listened at our door and heard screaming and if she got one more complaint we would have to leave the hotel”. I called back down stairs as I was in shock - i thought she must have the wrong room - the only noise was from our perhaps boisterous 6 year old who was watching a kids show on YouTube kids. But she again reiterated “screaming” and that we would be forced to leave. In my opinion I don’t think you could find a quieter family. Certainly the TV would have made more noise. Shocking unbelievably bad customer service - simply asking us to keep the noise down as someone had complained would have been sufficient - but the instant escalation to leave the hotel…..left us feeling very upset. If we disturbed someone at 8pm in the evening, we are truly sorry. The noise insulation seemed good in the hotel - we only heard occasional doors closing and the freeway traffic outside. We had got in from dinner around 7:15pm after a 9 hour drive. After the complaint at 8pm we spent the next 45 mins whispering and stressing that somehow we were going to be put out in the street in a Saturday night in Albuquerque, before going to sleep. Needless to say it was a restless night sleep. As for the hotel, we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express hotel the night before in Fort Worth. So we had a direct compare and contrast. In Albuquerque the shower did not work and there was a problem with the functionality of the blackout shades. The breakfast was a little disappointing as there was only half of the items offered actually available (the sausage and biscuits were great). No yogurts, cinnamon roles, bread for toast. And there was a distinct absence of any staff replenishing food, or cleaning tables etc. Check in was also odd - we had booked a prepaid non cancellation 2 x queen bed room (for our family of 4). Arrived around 5pm. At check in “sorry I don’t have that room, but I do have a king suite with a sofa bed; the hotel is fully booked”. I explained that didn’t work for us, we needed two beds. After some time on the computer the lady said ok, I have a room for you “someone else is going to be disappointed when they check in tonight”. I have no idea what the criteria used to select disappointing a guest were. Overall something just not right with the way this property was running.

PPengguna TetamuI really appreciated the staff , real problem solvers and genuinely nice people. One even helped me find a less expensive place to stay to fit my budget. Complimentary coffee ( varied options) , water dispenser in lobby, and a fantastic very large tv in the bedroom were some draw cards. I could use my Netflix membership easily . I didn’t get the included breakfast as I booked through a third party so explore booking direct . The breakfast sounded good:) . It certainly offers a far nicer ambience than the less expensive place I relocated to . Their Nice carefully picked staff make a big difference. They should all be complimented ! :)

PPengguna TetamuWe booked a KING room, paid for it and received confirmation. Only after checking in and going to our room did we find out it was 2 double beds. When my husband went to switch rooms, one person at the desk said the kings were all booked and the other person at the desk said there was a remodel and there were not any King beds. I don't know which is true. Clearly they were not interested in helping us at all and since we had already unloaded all of our luggage we stayed there anyway. BEWARE that what you book may not be what you get and at the facility and that was not explained anywhere.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel was amazing very respectful staff the room was amazing amenities were great aswell very close to many places to get food walking distance a small little minor discretion the door chain lock was broken but no biggie other than that I highly recommend this hotel and I would stay there again

VVagabond JohnI thought the location was great. Downtown is relatively slow moving but it seems create easy access to the rest of the city. The rooms are relatively basic I got to experience the ones with an updated bathroom and the ones without. The gym is very lackluster and the pool is even more so. Staff is hit or miss. Some people were kind and attentive, others were not. There’s definitely construction going on so there are the sounds of that happening throughout the hotel. Other than that there’s not much more to tell. Nothing that really stands out in a negative or positive way.

SStephen CornwellHotel is okay,it's an older unit in a rough part of town.Trash outside and inside my room,hallway and rear entrance was not emptied daily.Car in rear parking lot was vandalized while I was there, not my car, there were many warning signs not to leave valuables in cars.I was there 2 1/2 days never received new towels for the ones I used,although bathroom and room was clean when I arrived. Had a bad problem with the room door opening from the outside, I am fairly strong ,but I had to hip-check the door every time to get into my ,it's so obvious that cleaning staff must have reported It was that hard to open,I am easy-going but it needs reported and repaired.

BBhapleThe food was grab and go and being allergic to cinnamon and berries breakfast was, an un satisfying piece of fruit and coffee. Not sure why they haven’t changed the breakfast back to the waffles. The front desk staff was nice and friendly and the towels were extremely soft, fluffy and was almost completely un-scented. The pool area was poorly lit and it looked like a good setup for a murder scene. The hot tub only had one jet working but at least the water was hot. I was shocked they had a sauna that actually worked well. The bed frame had blood on it and the mattress cover was dirty, But because the floor didn’t have carpet, the floor was well cleaned.
