This hotel is pretty nice. The Angelo Grove hotel street in Marion felt safe. The staff were friendly. The room is updated and clean. Here were the only two issues. First, and I have seen this is another Hampton Inn recently, the curtains are fake quarter panel and don’t close at all. This means you can’t get to sleep much in the summer and are woken up early. I also had a flood light outside my room, which is great for safety but with the fake curtains it was bright all night. The second issue was breakfast started 30 mins late. Maybe the employee was late to work. The front desk staff was apologetic. Breakfast was mostly cold take and go items. There wasn’t any plain protein like usual (sausage gravy is not a protein). Other than those two things the hotel was good, and it’s a nice choice for anyone in the Memphis area. I hope Hampton puts back full curtains in all its properties. I see they’ve backtracked on the unpopular shared toiletries (have little individual ones again) so hopefully the curtains are next.

PPengguna TetamuWe stopped here on our way to visit family in TN. We had so much fun, and the hotel was so nice and clean, we stayed there again on our way home. Trip.com was the lowest fair that we could find and was reasonable for a nice hotel. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower was very nice with overhead rain delivery of water. We also spent time at the ******. No big wins, but we didn't lose every hand or every spin, so it made it fun. I will stay here again next time I am headed to visit family,.

MmichellewK7839DSWe needed a hotel reasonably close to Memphis to catch a mid morning flight. Tru was the perfect hotel to fit our needs. It is located directly across the interstate from Southland ******. The parking lot is big enough that parking was easy. The hotel is new and clean. Zaquita greeted us on arrival and was so kind and helpful. Diamond status was acknowledged at check in. The lobby is cool! There’s a pool table and lots of seating. There’s a neat mural on the wall. There is a water/ hydration station. Our room was spacious. There’s no carpet in the rooms. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and clean, and good lighting. The TV had a personalized welcome sign, which is kinda cool for such a small hotel. We were really happy with it. No fuss, no muss. Just the basics we needed and a little extra. We’ll stay here again in the future.
