WWanda HWe arrived to a very pleasant desk clerk. When asked, he suggested several eating places nearby. When we returned and unloaded, I had to ask for my free water bottles as a Hilton Honors member. When we arrived at the tiny room, smaller than any I've stayed in under Hilton. We found the black out curtain was not there and could not close the side curtains far enough. There was an opaque curtain which anyone could see through from inside or outside. No way to block it. This was first floor. The front desk offered to move us and I suggested a handicap room as my partner on a rollator This room was better, but barely big enough to move rollator to other side of the bed. Bathroom was plenty big. However, adequate. Not like any other Hampton/Hilton we have stayed in.
PPengguna TetamuStaff members Mariah and Jimmy(Shuttle Driver) were highly recognized. Both went over and beyond throughout my stay. Shuttle driver came a hour early so I could make early morning flight. Also loved the southern style cooking in the restaurant. Kudos to leadership putting together a great staff.
DDylanNice quiet  comfortable place Been staying here for almost about a week now. Very clean quiet no trouble very comfortable. Stay here. Employees are awesome. If you're ever around in Lexington South Carolina I need a hotel. This would be the place I would recommend. They also have very fair rates compared to other hotels in the area.

Wasnt sure what to expect but as it turned out, it was better than expected despite some of the negative reviews made by other guests. Much improvements have been made. Good rates, good room. Helpful front desk staff (sorry didn't get her name). Thanks!
LLiltravler77The hotel itself was amazing! Beds comfy, slept very well! Room smelled horrible, light flickered, desk was notified, bathroom had hair everywhere, beer caps, on the floor, room had an odor. Yes I cleaned up the room prior to me staying completely in the room. TV wouldn’t stay on. Fridge rattled all night, pillows were comfortable though. Unfortunately, the reservation was non refundable so we had to stay. Otherwise we probably would have left and for the price we weren’t losing that amount of money. The location I have to admit is perfect, close to everything, shopping, food, gas, interstate you name it. The staff, I can’t speak enough on the staff, friendly, kind and very welcoming. This isn’t my usual hotel when I come to Columbia, but it was a stay.
We checking in and they gave us a room with a nasty stain on the bed and it smelled like straight mold. We went to the front desk to get a different room and when we entered that room we were hit with another moldy smell and a disgusting room. Me and my wife decided we weren’t gonna stay here and went to go get a refund. We were there max 20 mins and when we went to get a refund and check out we were told by the OWNER that we were there for over an hour and all we could get was our $50 deposit back but not the $75 extra dollars that we spent to book the room. It was by far the NASTIEST place we’ve ever walked into.
PPengguna TetamuI have encountered this front desk women named (Patel) a couple times and both times she was extremely rude and nasty. I had a couple of rooms the day for my self and a couple guest. My guest who are not of Caucasian descent went to get in the pool and she kept harassing them more than once within 15 minutes of each other to leave the pool that comes with their stay. The open times a perfectly displayed on the pool from 10am to 10pm and when we all checked in we were told it was a hot day and the person who checked us in encouraged us to go swimming. We all went and brought swim suits and decided to go swimming. When my husband and I left my two guest were harassed over and over by her. Screaming the pool is closed I want to lock it and it was not even close to 10 oclock pm closing time. When my husband and I went out there no words from her at all. Very sickening to witness such behavior in an adult. Sad as well because she is Indian decent (non-Caucasian) descent herself so I would think she would know better to treat someone different because of how they look, and not to profile anyone which makes it even sicker to me. The rooms were very dirty, the tub had a black, dirt ring around it upon arrival which was the second room we asked to be changed from the first because we thought another would be better. (no refund or cancelation policy for choice hotels by the way, but with that being said do you really wonder why) They do have ”hot” breakfast, but you cannot take it to your room and it is very, very limited. All the vents were dirty, I mean filthy in the room. (I have pictures of all I am saying) Nothing wiped down, furniture falling apart carpets are not vacuumed. The carpets have a film on them I don't think they have ever been tended to since install, roaches and much more. You would think with such an outdated, falling apart place like that you would try to counter act it with Great Cleaning and Excellent customer service, but it appears they are trying to get you not to come back. No one has any name tags so you cannot tell who is who staff or not. At your own risk
