PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe Hotel Marcel was quite Modern and very aesthetically pleasing! Upon arrival, I could tell this hotel was full of charm and personality. I especially enjoyed my stay in a corner suite with a King bed. The bathroom was very luxurious and I felt as though it was something out of a magazine. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and affordable.
If I had one gripe it would be that the interior of the room was very dim in lighting even when the lights were fully on (touch censored lighting was available). I wish more light was able to be in the room.

JJoe Cheng YuliangI have stayed at a hotel for 5 days, the bed is comfortable, the facility quite well which free drinking water dispenser was enjoyable, people all nice to me.
If I find fault with on purpose, which was the coffee maker disappointed me very much, hope them will refreshed the beans.
By the way, I have 2 deposited each 50 dollars, but it seems not refunded back.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel was in a great location but it was moldy and amenities were missing from the room, batteries dead in the thermostat, my first room smelled like cigarettes and the carpet was greasy. When I mentioned the state of my room they quickly moved me to another room so that was nice. The most frustrating part about this hotel was the fact that my family members and I asked weeks in advance if we could book rooms on the same floor in the same general area. The hotel agreed but once we arrived they put us on all different floors, opposite sides of the hotel and everything. We tried to make the best of it. My mother and I as well as my cousins met in my aunt's double room daily so we could all be together but a neighboring room made a noise complaint. They would never have had to complain if the hotel had booked all our rooms together as we had requested.

BBernardHotel is dated with a cranky elevator. Double beds are clean and comfortable but tight for 2 persons. Shower is strong and hot. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided. Layout of room space is U-shaped which is a little hard to layout out luggage’s. Functional for our family of five. One of the rare rooms that can fit five. Breakfast provided.

PPengguna TetamuI stay for three nights over the past week. This is a older high rise hotel in a great location relative to downtown and to Yale. I would have given a 3.5 star rating if I could have. Everything was passable - not great. The front desk staff (with the exception of the late night staff) did not seem proud of there hotel or happy to greet you as a guest. At no point did they seem to go beyond the minimum level or interaction or service. The water pitcher in the lobby is filled a couple of times a day but seems to sit empty for hours with the fruit in the bottom - in plain view of the front desk. Another example - on checkout after after 2 nights, the attendant asked me “how was my stay?” I said “uh, fair.’ No further comment reply or question from the attendant. Made it seem like they didnt care very much. The rooms were clean and nice. Linens very good. About what you should expect from a large chain hotel. The building itself is beautiful and worth a little time exploring. Dont miss the staircase to the second floor. The best art was the 19th floor lounge. The view and service was wonderful there - old school service and vibe. I tip my cap to the bartenders there. Especiallly the gentleman who worked the late shift on 2/17/23 - Best part of the stay.

LLinx_WabblyI just returned from spending 2 of my free night awards. Many hotels will assign the worst room when paying this way and this was definitely not the case here. Due to all the negative reviews I read, I was a bit nervous and called the hotel and spoke to a couple of people. They were very honest about what to expect. In fact, although it could use an update, the room was just fine (and I'm picky) and totally immaculate. I had white socks on and my socks were just as white walking around the room. Actually, I was shocked that it was so clean and there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere. Now to the best part, the staff. They are wonderful and extremely friendly and helpful. There never was a shortage of staff either. Every person I encountered had a smile on their face and couldn't be happier to help. I enjoyed just chatting with them. I only gave the Courtyard 4 stars instead of 5 because the rooms are not that large , they charge for parking and basic toiletries are provided. We found the location convenient for walking around during both day and evening. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

PPengguna TetamuI had previously booked a room at a Choice Hotel in West Haven CT. My reservation specified Non Smoking room. When I walked into the room it smelled like an ash tray and there was a lot off damage in the room. When I returned to the front desk they refused to change my room and made it clear to me that customer satisfaction and safety was not their concern. They promised me a refund and I left. Fortunately I was was able to find a nearby Best Western and booked a room with them. I was thankful for Best Western providing me with a great on such short notice. PS: I'm still waiting for my refund from Choice Hotels?

Breakfast was disappointing- there were no breakfast potatoes, no yogurt, and only instant oatmeal. Room was small, but clean and had a lot of clever places to store things. Convenient location. No pool, but good for staying overnight only.
