I love Holiday Inn Express and try to book through IHG whenever I travel, or when I travel with my daughter (2 weeks ago we went to Detroit to see Taylor Swift, stayed at HIE Southgate, which is wonderful). I am in Lockport alone tonight and on the 3rd floor. Last room to the left, facing the road. I will say there is significant road noise, I'd request a rear facing room if booking here again. The room is immaculate. I used to clean as a teenager, and I check everything. VERY-VERY clean. Everyone was friendly, from the man who checked me in to the maids I passed in the hall (I was half an hour early, no issues) although I did not get the room I booked through IHG (I am in the rewards program). I had booked an accessible room. I need both knees replaced, so stepping over the edge of a tub is challenging without my *assistant* (my daughter) but there is a grab bar in the tub, and it was okay. If I had noticed before taking a nap upon check-in I would have asked to move if there is a sliding door type shower or anything easier to get into. I think I got this king room because my general preferences on the IHG rewards site are always ”upper floor” and ”away from elevator”. I usually travel with my daughter so it's not an issue if a knee locks up and she is around to help me get out. The website shows a ottoman and table by the sofa, plus an easy chair and ottoman. Another reason I booked a king room, to have an ottoman to elevate the really bad knee. I used my suitcase. I checked the site and no accessible rooms were available tonight, that could be the reason for the switcharoo as well, who knows? Would stay again. I can't stress enough how clean this place is. Beds are the usual comfy HIE beds. I do wish the AC unit had a ”constant fan” option, for white noise. A herd of elephants seem to have checked in next door. I use white noise to sleep. The AC uses a thermostat and I can't find a way to override the on/off feature and just set it to *fan only*. I brought earplugs, if the elephants don't get settled in before I do those will be handy. Would reccomend. There is a pool, and breakfast is always good at HIE, you just have to get up and down there before it's gone. I know the drill. I usually set an alarm, eat and then sleep a couple more hours. This is a family friendly place, clean and convenient to Buffalo, Amherst (University of Buffalo), Clarence or Niagara Falls. You'll save $ staying here rather than Ni Falls or B-lo, and it's a very safe location. Downtown Ni Falls is sketchy. If you stay here be sure to take 78 S to Niagara County Produce and get some deli things, produce and garden stuff of you are into that. It's a gem! I always make a point to stop when in Lockport. You'll also be near several grocery stores (take 78 north to get to TOPS and Walmart, (I think Aldi is still there as well) . The resturaunts are up that way too. 5 min drive. PPengguna TetamuCheck in was poor, the staff is poorly trained. Despite having a fully paid up booking my card was debited $87, for which they had no answer except apologising.
They said they’ll looking into the matter but can’t do anything for now. They didn’t issue me a credit note for the amount charged.
There was no wifi in the entire hotel during our entire stay , for which they could again only apologise 😡. They couldn’t get it up in 48 hours!
Breakfast was served with a frown,no smiling faces, except Mr Liberta who was helpful and courteous.
They couldn’t serve plain hot milk and gave unripe fruits ( oranges and bananas) during breakfast .

PPengguna TetamuGood location! It's walking distance to Niagara Falls State Park about 6 min. The room was big enough, a little outdated room but the bed was great and comfortable. It's perfect place if you are looking for an affordable room just for sleep. Generally, hotels in NY side of Niagara Falls are outdated to compare to Canadian side. I am satisfied with this stay!

AAnnagel OlgaThe location is great, close to niagara falls, cafes and casinos. The room was clean except for the sink, which didn't let water in, and the closet with the ironing board, which hadn't been dusted for a long time. The pool is very small for such a big hotel. We did not like the breakfast, there was little food, at the next table, the family did not get breakfast and the manager said that nothing to do with that, it was strange for a Hyatt hotel.

PPengguna TetamuSaya datang semasa wabak, jadi tiada perkhidmatan pembersihan, tetapi hotel ini sangat baru, koridornya sangat cantik, terdapat Starbucks di tingkat satu, tetapi ia ditutup kerana wabak. Ia sangat dekat dengan air terjun. Ia adalah tiga minit memandu. Hotel ini mempunyai tempat letak kereta percuma. Tempat letak kereta di air terjun adalah $10 setiap satu. Belum makan sarapan di hotel. Bilik yang saya duduki sangat besar. Ia adalah bilik sudut dengan dua tingkap besar dari lantai ke siling. Walau bagaimanapun, kerana hotel ini agak pendek, terdapat hanya tiga atau empat tingkat dengan pemandangan purata. Kebersihan keseluruhannya agak baik, iaitu syampu, perapi, gel mandian atau sesuatu yang tidak boleh guna, ia adalah jenis tiga botol yang diisi dengan banyak cecair.

SSiva SaveroThe hotel was based very near to Niagara so the location is very convenient. However, at reception I felt a sense of passive aggression from the clerk at midnight which was unsoothing. The variety for breakfast was poor as there was only waffles and there were barely any amenities provided.

LLEE LINGRoom was clean and hotel put us on higher floor so we got a better view. Small coffee maker in the room. Double beds in room are comfortable. The drainage in our bath room was not working well, after informing the front desk, they sent their maintenance staff Rafael to check within minutes. A very short walk to the falls and linked way over to Canada. There is a tourist information counter on ground floor and saw some tourists engaged guides for their day out. Very simple breakfast served from 7am - 10am but good enough for my family. Have free coffee and hot water dispenser on ground floor available for guests. Overall a satisfying stay.

PPengguna TetamuThe website had it was 10 dollars a day for parking, before I even received a key I had to pay 19.95 for parking in their lot. The room was really hot, but turning on the air conditioner was really loud, we were unable to sleep. Not to mention the fire alarm or something kept beeping like the batteries were low.
