FIRST RATE ALL THE WAY!!!!! Super easy and fast check -in. room was spacious, very clean and well maintained. Very quiet even though it is kind of close to the airport. Sleep In St Louis will be my first choice when traveling to the St. Louis area!!!!
I like this hotel. They have a kitchen area with full size refrigerator, good lighting and comfortable bed. Free laundry room and large exercise room. I do not like that they charge $5 a night for having a car in parking lot. Have never been charged this far from the airport for parking. Because of the $5 parking charge which I only found out about when I was leaving, I will not be coming back here. Many other hotels same quality nearby with same price and free parking.
I take a break away from my reality and get a room here at least once a month. The staff are so awesome and I’ve never experienced a problem with my stay. I recommend this hotel to family members whenever they come visit. It’s close to whatever food, stores or after hour spots you are looking for.
PPengguna TetamuGreat room. We were close to the elevator & didn't have an issue with noise. Pool was heated but still cooler than I prefer. Didn't stop my kids from playing in it. Our room had a balcony. My kids loved to lay on it & play on tablets or read. Had an issue with the fridge not being cold & the toilet running. The toilet was fixed but sadly the fridge was not.
PParker’s7585Hotel was great and clean and beautiful. I was to early for my room and I was exhausted from traveling and they managed to get me in my room very fast.. thank you front desk.. housekeeping did a lovely job on 518. Not one thing was wrong and I am picky. On the other hand, I do smoke and I went outside to sit in my vehicle and smoke late in the night and was harassed and attacked verbally by a gentleman claiming to be a police officer. Very hateful and rude and disrespectful. I was parked inside the gated lot. And was approached with rude questions and insulting tones like me and my husband were criminals. And because I stood up for myself and refused to back down and answer private questions about where I was staying and what room,to someone off duty with no badge, he was trying to get me kicked out if my room in the middle of the night. The police officer on duty help resolve the situation and I went to my room. But it was a very bad moment all because we couldn’t sleep and was having a conversation in our vehicle inside the gated parking for the crown plaza.. shame on the man for being rude and thanks to the officer that handled things well. Maybe should get that guy outta that line of work. But I would stay again hands down cause the hotel was great.. and staff was amazing.. thank you crown plaza
PPengguna TetamuWe did parksleepfly at this hotel. Check in was at 3 PM. We arrived just after 3 to a lobby full of people who were waiting for their rooms. Once at the front desk we were told the room wasn’t ready and she didn’t know when it would be ready. She didn’t acknowledge the issue or apologize. She was completely indifferent to the situation. She didn’t take my name or number and just never minded me and went on to address another person who came in. I waited 10 minutes and went back to the front desk. I asked if she needed my name and number. She begrudgingly wrote down my name and phone number. A few minutes later I see the hotel charged me an additional $24.99. I go back up to the counter and ask a different front desk person about the charge. He just blankly looks at me and literally starts talking to someone who was waiting in the lobby; their room was ready. Over an hour later our room was finally ready. I asked again about the $24.99 charge when I could finally check in. She tells me the charge will come off after I check out and I could wait for the manager to tell me the same thing. The charge never came off. The room was clean. We didn’t have any issues with the shuttle ride to the airport the next morning. I will mention the shuttle that took us was from The Double Tree. We were advised to call the hotel from the airport once we returned and had our luggage. The first person in our group who called was put on hold. A second person from our group called and was able to let them know we needed pick up at the airport and then was put on hold. A third person called and was put on hold as well. The Holiday Inn shuttle did eventually arrive about 40 minutes later. We headed back to the hotel but then the shuttle driver turns around and goes back to the airport to pick up more people. We will never stay here again obviously. I didn’t appreciate the staff making me feel like a nuisance for expecting the hotel to have a room ready for me that I booked 3 months prior and asking about an unexpected charge. I did want to mention that this area is like a corporate ghost town and kind of eerie especially at night in my opinion.
