Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The location was convenient, although not pedestrian friendly (right on state highway with very small shoulders and no cross-walks). The enamel on the sink was chipped, and the A/C fan was nice and quiet. For a ”No Smoking” facility, there were a lot of ash trays (one between each 2 rooms). ”No Smoking” was posted everywhere, even on the rental units across the parking lot. Unfortunately, we saw people outside smoking, and got the smell of smoke each morning when we left.

PPengguna TetamuComfort Inn Bangor certainly lived up to its name on March 13th. Hunter and Vanessa who were on the desk treated my husband and myself like family members. They went above and beyond what was expected. Both helped us with printing test results and calming our nerves. We also witnessed the kind and considerate way they were treating a lady having reservation problems caused by a third party. The room was clean and comfortable, also the cookies were delicious. We will certainly stay at this hotel in the future.

PPengguna TetamuHonestly the best customer service I have received in a long time, and I’m from Canada… I was travelling out of BGR and needed somewhere to leave my car for 7 days. I first tried Bangor Suites Airport Hotel. Absolute 0/10. Was told “ahhhh…. No. You kinda left this until the last minute don’t you think.” Which I 100% did, but what was it to her? I then try Howard Johnson. Quick, easy and SUPER affordable! The kind man working was dealing with a difficult customer when I arrived and he handled the situation exceptionally well. I knew that moment I felt comfortable leaving my car and keys with him. He also offered me juice or coffee while I waited for my Uber, which was extremely kind. I ended up extending my trip 3 days and it was no problem to continue holding my car there. Also, my Uber to the airport and back was 9$ each way! I will definitely be back!
