Our first priority was the hotel, being dog friendly. There was a slight musky odor, but it wasn’t that annoying The hotel was very clean and spotless. The staff was great. We had two queen beds that were very comfortable. And the hotel was only minutes from downtown Bangor. we had to take the Stephen King tour because I love his books Also, they had a wonderful free breakfast and at night since we didn’t feel like going out, they cooked us a pizza part of the hotels policy. They also had alcohol if you wanted to have an adult drink. Nice pool and hot tub very clean We would stay here again and heartbeat

PPengguna TetamuWe wound up at this hotel after having issues with a hotel down the road, but we are thankful to end up here! Front desk staff was friendly, the hotel was well lit and clean, complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby at all hours plus coffee and tea amenities in your room. We booked a king suite and it was very nice. The room was clean and well stocked, bed was comfy, and shower was great - had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash pumps in the shower in addition to standard complimentary soap bars.

DDanielle DOur usual stop from the mariimes to destinations south. Marisa, at the reception, is a credit to IHG. Very accommodating. I noticed her give special consideration to a guest who had limited mobility and find her a room more conveniently located than the guest had been assigned. Holiday inn is easily accessible from the highway, only minutes from downtown Bangor and several options nearby for supper, including their own restaurant, which serves a limited but very decent menu. Not an express, so no included breakfast. However, they do serve breakfast, and there is also a donut shop next door. Microwave, fridge, and good sized rooms.

PPengguna TetamuHonestly the best customer service I have received in a long time, and I’m from Canada… I was travelling out of BGR and needed somewhere to leave my car for 7 days. I first tried Bangor Suites Airport Hotel. Absolute 0/10. Was told “ahhhh…. No. You kinda left this until the last minute don’t you think.” Which I 100% did, but what was it to her? I then try Howard Johnson. Quick, easy and SUPER affordable! The kind man working was dealing with a difficult customer when I arrived and he handled the situation exceptionally well. I knew that moment I felt comfortable leaving my car and keys with him. He also offered me juice or coffee while I waited for my Uber, which was extremely kind. I ended up extending my trip 3 days and it was no problem to continue holding my car there. Also, my Uber to the airport and back was 9$ each way! I will definitely be back!

It’s only fair to give it a four because of the price. It was quite reasonable in comparison with every place else in the area. Overall, I would consider it quite dated. It has seen better days, but it’s management is trying very earnestly and my check-in boarded on delightful. The included breakfast buffet was more than adequate. The room was well equipped, but far from luxurious. The bed head, lots of pillows, but wasn’t that comfortable, a little firm for me. They had plenty of hot water, even though they had those old style faucets that I do not like I made the best of it. At first glance, I thought there were leaves on the floor of the tub, but it was just where the coating had chipped away. Housekeeping did good a job as they possibly could with what they had to work with. Be careful the driveway had craters reminiscent of the surface of the moon. If you have a construction crew, you’ll have to put up for a few days a week. This would be the place to go.

PPengguna TetamuBreakfast was great. We had a little maintenance issue with the room but the maintenance staff came right up to resolve our issue. Front desk girl was very professional and courteous. She was on the phone with what sounded like a previous guest who was clearly complaining about something regarding the sales tax and a reservation with the previous private owner prior to Quality Inn taking over. She handled herself very well, calm professional and respectful even though the person on the other end of the line was not reciprocating those same qualities. She got off the phone and helped me with a great smile and very attentive to my questions. Great job!!
