For the money this was a great stay. The Front Desk Service was awesome, the room was clean. The pool was great and not busy at all. The maintenance guy was always working to keep everything nice.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Have recommended to others.
A HUGE little improvement would be to get some command strip hangers for towels, or just install hooks.
We also did wonder why the shuttle guys would not pick up right at the resort, that is not the hotels fault, but we did get pretty wet in the rain waiting on the corner.

Excellent hotel very clean , nice location in the City closest to everything , nice restaurant buffet and gift shop in place . I give 5 stars to this one. Excellent attention!! I will come back definitely!!!The Amish Community made a great job here!!!

I booked the hotel for one night, no breakfast included because I wanted to have breakfast with some friends at a restaurant nearby the next morning. The difference between breakfast included or not was 20 dollars. On my way there I realized they had added what I thought was the breakfast fee on my debit card to the total pending transaction. During check in they told me that Breakfast was Included and showed me the menu and times, so I didn't have any reason to doubt that the extra 20 dollars they had charged me was the breakfast fee. I didn't wanna make a big deal about it so I didn't say anything and just called my friends and we arranged to meet at dinner instead. Next morning when I was ready to have breakfast they told me that they made a mistake and breakfast was not included and when I told them about the extra charge on my debit card they explained to me that the extra 20 dollars was for incidental charges in case if I decided to use other amenities or services and not for breakfast. What a coincidence that the breakfast fee was the same amount as the incidental charges. They did remove the extra 20 dollars during check out but I ended up having a very mediocre super expensive breakfast there because it was already too late to call my friends and change plans again. Instead of 20 dollars I had to pay almost 50 for breakfast at a place that I didn't plan to have breakfast in the first place and they tricked me to do so.

Kathleen was very nice, attentive and very helpful. I looked forward to seeing her every morning at breakfast. She wasn't afraid to talk to people and help people at breakfast. Everyone just stood around, didn't help or even talk to you. You could tell that Kathleen loved her job and what she does. The front desk staff was amazing (Maria). Thank you to all the staff who made our 7 day vacation amazing!! My husband and I will definitely return. I forgot to mention the availability to ride the bikes was a pleasant experience and all the shops, mall and stores was in walking distance.

Overall was a nice stay.
Comfortable bed, room was nice, there was a few details in the room that needs to be fix (paint, cleaning, etc), but I'm going to reserve that to my self.
Let's focus on the pro's

Aprox 20 min from Lido beach.
Aprox 18 min from Lakewood Ranch area. (Stores and Restaurants).

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is a luxurious hotel in the perfect location in downtown Sarasota. The room I stayed in was large and clean. This hotel is not the typical Embassy Suites design that is open in the middle, just so you know. I do have two minor gripes. The elevator is excruciating slow, and the televisions do not support phone casting (mirroring). The phone mirroring is important to me as it allows me to watch my content, and other hotel chains do support it, so Hilton needs to keep up with the times. Hotel television is also super slow when changing channels. I would definitely stay here again, though.

DDreamer57879103798It appears that most of the renovation work on this hotel has been completed. We saw no signs of on going work and our 4th floor bedroom/bathroom were very comfortable, clean and well supplied. The breakfast area --- though rather devoid of travelers--- also looked untouched by construction noise and disarray. And there was a nice selection of breakfast foods to choose from. Quite honestly, we were pleasantly surprised as the cost was considerably less than we are accustomed to paying in Sarasota. We chose this hotel for its location, a quick and easy drive to Celery Fields where we walk and look for birds. Upon arriving, we were happy to find that it is off the road and on a pond. The pond was full of birds, so in 5 minutes after parking; we got some fun photos. We will definitely return to this hotel. They gave us no reason not to and several good reasons to repeat the experience.

PPengguna TetamuA room with a lovely view. Quite a walking distance to restaurants and everything but average hotel restaurant for late dinner. Very spacious room and toilet or breakfast. They have to send serviceman twice to fix the heat/room control. Sliding door to balcony was heavy to open and close. The deal was average I would say.

AandersoncarolI booked a room before hurricane Ian because hotel is away from storm surge area and my condo is in zone b. Unfortunately, I only got to use your amenities briefly before a power outage took away electricity for most room lights and hall lights, tv, a/c, elevator, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, internet, etc. Not a single outlet to charge phones. The staff managed breakfast since they had power in one room and one tv was on in the lobby. Your manager said it was FPL fault.
Before that, only one elevator was working. A staff person said one had been out at least 4 months. This seems like neglect.
When Ian was nearing, the wind popped a window and the latch would not hold. Maintenance problem? At least there was quick response and a staff person drilled hole to put in hardware to fasten it closed.
All power went out on Wednesday ~ 2, due to the storm for sure this time. Thursday am the staff put together a reasonable cold breakfast in mostly darkness. I was surprised that the hotel did not have more than a few battery lights for lobby and breakfast area. This is Florida, even smaller storms often cause outages and the need for lightning is something that should be anticipated. About $50 to $100 worth of little led battery lanterns would have helped a lot. The stairwells were so dark and unsafe also. I think this is also neglect.

The Sarasota location on north tamiami is extremely clean and well kept. Sandra at the front desk was extremely helpful and so nice! For the low price this hotel is a hidden gem!

It’s a budget hotel. Staff was nice. Location was good. Bed was comfortable . Rooms are dated but clean. What I did expect was housekeeping during my stay. That didn’t happen. Shower door does a poor job of keeping the water in, so it wets the floor. I paid $220/night. I wouldn’t have been so disappointed if I had paid $100/night.

ber and get a free upgrade to a suite when I asked her About it she got an attitude with me and told me I didn't know what I was talking about so I even showed her where it says it on the Wyndham app. Other than that all the staff is great John the G.M is probably one of the best managers I have seen at a hotel. It is a great location being just a few minutes from downtown.

Llil baby blueWhat can I say I stayed here for about a week and a half the staff was great they were nice polite and friendly very helpful I really couldn't complain about too much they're cleanliness is decent it may look a little rundown but is it older hotel room they just need to do some updating but for the price you can't beat it anyway from $69 a night 14 depending on the room you want they have a pool each room comes with the TV mini fridge microwave it's in a great location you got Publix across the street Taco Bell and McDonald's you know so on all like I said you can't beat it
