I would have given them 3 stars in the beginning, despite the very stained carpet but as our 6-day visit continued, there were more and more issues with this place that I can't really recommend them - except if you want a relatively cheap place but a lot of hassle. First the good: - it was in a decent area, convenient to highway without a lot of road noise - it was a very good price for the summer, considering we had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and common area - if you didn't look too closely, the rooms seemed clean enough - the pool was okay - nothing special but nothing horrible either Now the mediocre to bad: - the breakfast was mediocre at best - mostly standard fair (a type of eggs, sparse fruit, yogurt, dry cereal, hot oatmeal and some kind of muffins/bagels). Pancakes from a machine seemed to be available every other day (not sure why the pancakes couldn't be available every day. The fresh fruit was sparse (way overripe bananas and maybe an apple or two). They had bagels some days and 2 kinds of pre-packaged muffins which were not good. Honestly, I didn't expect much but thought they could have offered a little more variety. - the rug to the common area of our room was stained throughout - looked like it had never been properly cleaned - laundry machines were terrible - had to pay extra to get the washing machines to actually spin dry the clothes; dryer was an issue as well, requiring repeatedly paying to get it to dry 1 load. When we complained to the staff they literally told us that this is a common issue and our best bet was to call the 800 number on the machine (which of course wouldn't have helped us but I guess the next guests if they actually came to fix them). - I'm not a huge stickler for housekeeping to change bedding and/or towels every day (honestly prefer they don't) - in 6 days, we think they came twice and made the beds and switched towels, which was fine, but they didn't bother to deal with the garbage (took it out ourselves or it would have overflowed) or even attempt to vacuum (I noticed the kitchen area had some debris on the floor which they never cleaned and cobwebs in a few corners). The worst: - so housekeeping not the best as shown above but then the evening of the 3rd to last day we noticed ants on one bedroom nightstand - not 1 or 2 but several. Husband enjoyed killing them with a napkin and we went to bed. - The next morning (our 2nd to last day) we got up for breakfast and came back (probably 9 am) to find A LOT more ants all over the nightstand and now in our bed. So we stripped the bed entirely and left the bedding outside our room and talked to the front desk who said housekeeping would be out to deal with it shortly. - We had a full day planned so we left and returned to our room at 6 pm to find that housekeeping had picked up our bedding but had DONE NOTHING ELSE. The ants were still crawling on the nightstand and our bed didn't have any new bedding or anything. So we went to the front desk and were to

Check in and out was simple. The location was great. A lot of food/drink options close by. Bed was comfortable but walls are paper thin. Kept getting woken up by people in the rooms next to ours.

Hotel is very good. Location is very good too. Breakfast is decent the breakfast area is clean and good. Though can have more options for vegetarians and also can offer foods which are less sugary and more healthier options/suggestions like plain yogurt, plain cereal, sour dough bread,some fresh Tomatoes,cucumbers green leafs . The staff is extremely helpful Aaron the GM is a wonderful person , have to mention Tara , Belis at the breakfast area. Ian the house keeping manager and Ivan , and the ladies at the reception Nellie ,Ashley, and Lesley all are very courteous welcoming. made our stay very pleasant.l surely come here again.

My family stayed here one night for a travel soccer game. We’d never stayed at a Springhill Suites before, so we weren’t sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms - 2 queen beds and sitting area with desk and couch. Large closet and nice sized bathroom. Mini fridge and microwave. The included breakfast was also better than expected – make your own waffles, scrambled eggs and turkey sausage, a selection of cereals and yogurt, fruit, bagels and muffins. All for cheaper than other hotels in the area! Rooms were clean and lounge area I front where you could eat breakfast was bright and cheery. Definitely will stay here again next time we’re in town for a soccer game.

Room was modern and updated with a lot of space and great working desk area, but hotel overall feels old and has a **** smell in the hallways that drifts into the room

The staff was super friendly and personable, but the hotel was gross. Very dirty room;stains and torn carpet, blood on bathroom door, stains on walls and ceilings, furniture with holes/stains, fridge with missing parts, dirty dishes in dishwasher, broken hair dryer, called front desk immediately and sent person up who wiped off the door with a wet napkin. It was blood!!!Dirty napkins, garbage bag on floor, candy smashed into the carpet. The housekeeping supervisor was appalled at the condition. Blamed it on the maids not understanding English. Breakfast was never ready on time nor was the coffee so we couldn’t reap the benefits of having a free breakfast in the morning. Kids were running around the hotel banging on doors, tossing trash into the elevators, and nothing was done to stop them. We called and complained because it sounded like they were bowling above us the entire time. They should have called security or the police. Multiple people in our group called to complain. We couldn’t sleep. And to top it off, a fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate Monday morning. To pay 1,300 for three nights was a joke. Marriott should be embarrassed by this property.

I came on a business holiday here and these are my humble thoughts. I must start with staff and hospitality. I was checked in and checked out by Chrystal. She was kind, helpful and very well spoken. The manager - Jasbir was actually a very informative person. He took care of any extra concerns with my stay and always helped with business enquiries. So I'm sending a shout-out to the staff members especially Chrystal, Sheri, Jasbir and Juan The hotel itself was wonderful it was quiet, the rooms were clean and I was given dishware and cookware for the kitchenette in my room. The room service staff clean the rooms well which was awesome. The area itself feels safe since it's in an industrial area. And I got a GREAT rate for my long term stay of over 1 month. Nevertheless, it's fair to say that I will actually be interested in staying here again. It's affordable and a lot of value for money. There is free breakfast, toiletries and kitchen amenities; YES! I've seen a lot of families come to the hotel because they moving, seen a lot of essential workers like construction workers and it overall is a friendly area with lots of friendly people. The only bad thing is that the halls sometimes smell of **** or animal urine. I was told that the smokers do smoke **** sometimes and we can't really control what people smoke outside the premises. The hotel is a smoke free one, but pets are allowed. I think some guests let their pets do whatever they want for some reason. But then it's expected that some people are going to be inconsiderate.
