Jjohnmeeks1974I have nothing but high praise for the Hamtramck Hotel. I was in town to attend a funeral and this place had the right vibe. Everyone was chill and friendly. My room was spacious and comfortable. I especially appreciated the backyard where I was able to watch the fireflies. The vibe is an urban and connected vibe as the hostel is within walking distance of cheat eats, groceries, and whatever. And, yes, I did buy the t-shirt! This is the kind of place that I am proud to gas them up wherever I wear their shirt. Thanks, Scott, for a great hostel experience!

PPengguna TetamuLocation is perfectly placed downtown Detroit, close to restaurants and the stadiums.
Room was beautiful, spacious and large bathroom (stayed in a king suite).
Valet service was professional and courteous (really liked that they have a bag drop in case you arrive prior to check in)
My only downside was one of the employees at the front desk. The male was unhelpful and very rude. The females we spoke to during the evening and following morning were kind, courteous and VERY HELPFUL!

PPengguna TetamuI spent one night at the Hollywood ****** at Greektown. I did not visit the ******. I was looking for a nice place to stay for the night. The hotel grounds were 4-stars. I arrived around 7 PM. It took some time to check in because I had to wait for a number of others who qualified for the VIP check-in line.
I stayed in a basic, twin queen room. The room and bathroom were nice and modern. Shortly after getting into my room, bright exterior lights turned on - shining in the direction of my room. I couldn't see what they were illuminating, but if I had to guess, it was perhaps the hotel name written on the exterior. Those lights stayed on all night. The drapes didn't completely cover the windows, so my room was illuminated all night. The room stayed one temperature despite what the thermostat was set to. There was an intermittent hum coming from the in-wall heater as if it was revving up. I ultimately slept with earplugs.
I am have been able to overlook the illuminated room, dysfunctional thermostat, and intermittent hum if I was there for other reasons than to sleep, like to visit the ******, or go out.

PPengguna TetamuI’ve been to this motel multiple times as a one or 2 night stay when in the area. The usual man wasn’t working today. But the experience was so rude, embarrassing and just won’t even let us go back. The air isn’t on in the room so expect a hot room until it cools down. You go to check out and wait for your deposit of $30. As I wait, the new older man working tells me I destroyed the towels and linens and shower curtain. So my fiancé furious goes to the room where we were, there was a chocolate spot on one washcloth and a little drool on my daughters pillow case. Those all are white and are most likely bleached every wash by the smell. They showed an old strange mark on the shower curtain way up top that looked like nail polish which we didn’t have. It was a late check in for my fiancé and 18 month old daughter who slept in her pack and play. I’ve never not got a deposit back in my life as I try to make sure things are in order. Even after explaining they wouldn’t refund. And they can see in my file I’ve rented jacuzzi rooms and stayed multiple times prior, never any issues. So they won’t get our business anymore… they have a competition up the road with a pool worth the drive.

IIsaGood for the price paid. Was allowed to check in a bit early. Room better than red roof. Towels could be newer. Bed sheets, pillow covers could be starch ironed. Deeper cleaning of the bathroom would be great. Internet didnt work well. Parking lot needs cleaning. Good hotel for the Detroit area.

PPengguna TetamuWe loved our stay at the Clarion Hotel metro Detroit airport! We were in the midst of a move and have stayed here twice in the last week for 8 days. It was pretty clean too! It was convenient and close to my job as well. It was nice also has a nice swimming pool and even though I didn't get a chance to swim on the hot days, I loved the grounds and the scenery! So relaxing! The free breakfast was also nice with waffles, eggs and sausage. I have no complaints about it and I would choose it and recommend it as one of my favorites now in this area by the airport, for price, location, and the amenities.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel was convenient to what I needed. I'll probably stay there again but it's not like there are better options nearby. It could use an update though.
The front desk was friendly, which was good because my hotel key kept getting De-magnetized. I think most people only stay here for one night though, and they kept making that assumption, which was weird.
There was a sign saying they didn't do maid service every day because of covid. When I asked they didn't seem ”sure” and the first day I said I didn't need it. Not sure if they didn't come the second day because of that, but no one came.
The amenities were really small and basic.
The pool seemed dirty. The water was very cloudy.

DON’T stay at this hotel!!!! Filthy, beds are low and hard as a brick. Bathtubs and sinks are stained. Microwave was dirty. I was switched to another room that wasn’t much better. No lightbulbs in the lamps. The bathroom sink was stopped up and the bathroom door wouldn’t close.The crank to the window was broken and sticking out in a dangerous way. The hallways were dirty, the trash was full EVERYWhERE! There is a mandatory cash deposit that you are not made aware of until check in. I would never ever ever stay here again and neither should you.

PPengguna TetamuThe staff was rude from the very first phone call. Refused to take our reservation over the phone. When we arrived we found out there was a $100 deposit that was required-talked to others in our group-they were not charged that fee. I tried to talk to the girl at the front desk she wanted no part of listening to me. Our entire group ( we were there for state wrestling finals) and our keys were all uncoded for our 2nd night. So after a long day we ALL had to go to the office and get new keys. The rooms were dirty-very dirty. Hair in the shower, our friends room had glass on the flower and messages left from Valentines Day on the counter. Almost no hot water-the front desk person had no way to get extra towels. Rooms had 2 towels with a 4 person occupancy. We tried to book somewhere else but due to the wrestling finals we couldn’t find any other place with availability. This is not a Baymont standard hotel and we are very dissatisfied. I will be disputing these charges with my bank.

PPengguna TetamuHORRIBLE HOTEL. This should be rated at the lowest it can go. There is no access to the lobby you have to stand at a window to check in. The room was filthy. The Tv would not turn on, so we looked behind it to see if it was plugged in and there was hair weave on the floor. The whole room needed to be swept so please do not walk barefoot, there was only 2 baby pillows on a king size bed & no phone in the room to call management. The bed felt like a wooden box so do not think you are going to get sleep; you will wake up with a sore back your stomach is going to feel like you have done sit-ups all night and for some reason your knee is going to be sore. Stains on the sheets and blanket no comforter. Walking to the room the staff left a lot of trash on the steps and did not come back for it, because it was still there in the morning & the animals had torn it apart all over the ground. Ac screen was gone (watch your babies). Hotel looks nice in the pictures and driving by, but when you check in you will wish you did not because you cannot get your money back so just hope daybreak comes quickly.
