It is a better modern hotel in Ha Giang mountainous city. 2km milestone to downtown is before the hotel. The picture in google map looks nice. The hotel overlook Lo river. The long distance bus station is near the hotel in walking distance. The motorbike rental stores can be found in walking distance. In the city there are only two 4* hotel. it has more elevators and the staff use a separate one. It is also a Day 0 hotel before/after your Ha Giang Road trip. Another 4* hotel located in the downtown. For the breakfast, it follows the international standard. It is still like the government hotel. The hotel has some atmosphere/smell at the lobby. The garage is big for cars and motorcycles parking. The elevators can reach from the garage to guest floors. It is good to book with the Booking/Agoda. At Ha Giang, there are not many choice for big hotels. Many westerns went to the road trip and stay at the hostels. Some tour group will stay in the 4* hotels.

A welcoming hostel with smiling and nice receptionnists. I found it perfect if you planned to do the Ha Giang Loop (they also can help you to book visits and rent a motorbike). Furthermore, you can let your extra luggage at the hostel while doing ”the loop” and even have a shower and a meal at the return, before leaving (very enjoyable when you take a night bus to another city).
More negative point: if you are not in a VIP room (that's the name of more expensive rooms I guess), you won't have a window, just shutters, so turn on the air-conditioning to avoid mosquitoes during the night! I don't know for VIP room but for basic ones, you'll share the bathroom with others customers.

The location of Yen Bien Luxury hotel and right centralized at the Ha Giang city. It is the upscale choice of the Day 0 stay before the Loop trip. The final day stay is upscale. The grand lobby is luxury. The suite room is big. The breakfast is the better one among the town. The city square, 0km landmark, riverside restaurants, museum, are in walking distance. The bath room and toilet are luxury. Warm Water pressure comes fast. Cool and Warm conditioner is equipped. Suite room has 2 tv sets. The corner room is 55m2 large, which can overview the Lo river and the hills. The distance to the bus station is a few minutes taxi driving. The pool is the better one in town.

We arrived in the evening witj a bus from Hanoi. We were tired from the trip but Kwang helped us really well getting a room the night before we were riding the HG loop. He even suggested a cheaper option. Hotelroom was comfortable for our family. We had a pleasant stay and decent service.

I would really recommend to stay hear. The location is very nice, really good service, room is excellent and the food is delicious! We wanted a tour and they organized everything for us. Also we came very late in the night and they picked us up. After the tour we could fresh us up and chill before they brought us to the bus station. Really amazing. You can see the nice pictures 😍 I would definitely come back. Thank you for everything ☺️

As a lifetime Titanium elite member, I’ve been waiting for a Marriott Bonvoy member hotel to open in Northern Vietnam, and it finally happened in December 2024. The hotel’s brand new so there were some minor glitches here and there, but overall I had a very enjoyable stay. The management was attentive and staffs were very friendly. The hotel is next to Ha Giang’s biggest shopping mall and is walking distance to the local market as well as Ha Giang View Mountain. It’s also the tallest building in the area so the view is magnificent. I will definitely come back and recommend to others.

La struttura è molto semplice ma pulita e i gestori ti fanno sentire a casa ! E’ stata una esperienza autentica, che sicuramente ricorderemo nel nostro viaggio. La Yolo homestay è gestita da moglie e marito entrambi molto carini e disponibili, hanno due bimbi stupendi che è un piacere avere incontrato. Peccato parliamo poco l inglese perché sicuramente ce la saremmo goduta ancora di più!
Con loro abbiamo prenotato la Ha Giang Loop tour ha un prezzo super conveniente, drivers carinissimi e e disponibilissimi. Abbiamo passato la notte in una homestay stupenda !
Ci hanno prenotato inoltre il bus notturno per andare verso Tam Coc.
La cena è preparata dalla moglie. Menù semplice ma gustoso! Tutto davvero TOP.

AArcherName774One of my favorite stays recently! The host is warm and friendly. The room is new and the bathroom is incredible. I only struggled (but managed) to fill the bath with hot water, as the water heater tank is probably not big enough for the winter season. Breakfast was simple but ok, I think they could improve in this. I highly recommend this place.

On the night I was taking the bus back to Hanoi, I had some time to spare before departure, so I wandered around and when I came back, the owner was waiting to have dinner together. They asked me where I had been, which was very touching. And when it was time for the bus, they even drove me to the bus stop. I tried to give them a tip as an apology, but they refused to take it and just said 'Come again'

Amazing trip all round. Two very good English speaking easy drivers with a group of 15. Catered brilliant to all of tour group. Homestays very clean and good food. Bui van nghia Was the leader of our group and was amazing. Gave lots of information and drove very well. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone wanting to do this loop. Not as party tour as some of the rest which I liked still happy water and karaoke.
