I recently stayed at Song Tien Hotel during my visit to My Tho, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Here are the highlights: Location: Situated in the heart of My Tho City, the hotel overlooks the picturesque Bao Dinh River. It’s conveniently close to attractions and dining options. Facilities: The hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout, making it easy to stay connected. Additionally, they have a restaurant, steam room, and spa facilities. The 24-hour front desk and airport transfer services add to the convenience. Rooms: I stayed in a Triple Balcony Room, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The crisp white linen added a touch of elegance. Value for Money: Song Tien Hotel provides excellent value for your budget. Compared to other properties in My Tho, it’s a steal! Guest Reviews: I’m not the only one who enjoyed my stay—other guests have also praised the hotel. They recommend it wholeheartedly! Wir reisten nach über 25 Stunden Flugzeit mit Kind ins Mekong Delta. Davor hatten wir telefonisch im Hotel angerufen und ein Zimmer reservieren lassen für mehrere Tage. Bei Ankunft sagte die Dame am Empfang dass es leider nur noch Zimmer mit 30% Preisaufschlag gibt und dass unser 9 jähriges Kind nochmal 20% des Zimmerpreises zahlen muss... für was bitte?! Kein extra Bett, kein grösseres Zimmer aber Aufschlag beim Check in verlangen! Sie meinte dass sie uns die günstigeren Preise nie angeboten hatte. Darauf hin wollten wir die General Managerin des angeblichen 4 Sterne Hotels sprechen. Leider war das auch nicht möglich wie uns die Empfangsdame mitteilte. 10 Minuten später traf ein junger Mann ein der sich als Manager ausgab und versucht die Situation zu beschönigen. Im Zimmer roch es nach Schimmel und Abfluss aus dem Bad. Der Teppich dreckig, fleckig und stinkte. Aus dem schwülwarmen Kühlschrank kamen Ameisen uns entgegen. Unser Kind wollte in den Pool aber der war trüb und ungepflegt. Die Möbel sahen alle gleich schlecht aus und gesundheitsgefährdend. Die Bilder sagen mehr als tausend Worte! Es ist definitiv KEINE 4 Sterne Anlage, Service vereinzelter Mitarbeiter ähnelt einem korrupten Basarmarkt wo Bildung und Höflichkeit keine grosse Rolle spielt. Schade dass man im Hotelmanagement noch nicht erkannt hat dass Hotelgäste was anderes für ihr Geld erwarten. Meiden sie dieses Drecksloch und geniessen sie die Mekong Delta Region Vietnams.

I had the opportunity to stay at a hotel in My Tho city in June 2024, where the front desk staff were notably friendly and the breakfast was fairly comprehensive. My room, number 407, lacked windows and had a fairly hard bed, although the bathroom size was acceptable and there was a desk suitable for work. Despite these amenities, I find the hotel to be overpriced, charging 660k for the lowest rack rate. While the hotel features a rooftop bar, it is modestly equipped and the service there was disappointing. The staff at the rooftop bar lacked a basic understanding of customer service and hospitality, which greatly diminished my experience. Their insistence on closing promptly at 10 PM and rushing me to finish my drink was particularly frustrating. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, their only solution was to offer a 10% discount, which felt more dismissive than accommodating. This experience, along with other service issues, has left a sour taste in my mouth, not just for the hotel but for My Tho city as a whole. Unfortunately, I don’t foresee myself returning to either in the future.
