This is such a charming guesthouse in the middle of everything! From the outside you would never guess how many rooms are hidden behind the façade. We had two rooms for 3 days with breakfast included in our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable & airy. We were able to open the windows and let the fresh air in upon returning daily from our adventures. The front desk was always helpful and had good recommendations for places to eat or things to see in town. The breakfast was very good. The location is perfect, near a pharmacy and grocery store and there was always parking available. This was our home base for visiting the Burren, taking the ferry to the Aran Islands from Doolin and for visiting Galway & the Ireland School of Falconry. Nothing is more than an hour drive away. Cheers Kinvara Guesthouse, it was lovely visit!

We were a large group of 25 people staying for 5 nights and from beginning to end, we were treated with courtesy, kindness and helpfulness. We had breakfast and inner there each day and the menu was varied accordingly. The quality of the food was consistently excellent. The bedrooms were spotless and beautifully serviced each day. But it was the staff that really stood out. Every one of them (without exception) were friendly and helpful but particular mention has to be given to Sinead on reception in this regard.

We stayed as a family of 9 recently for a 60th birthday party.Linda at reception was very welcoming .Our rooms were lovely and quiet, birthday plate was added to one room, a nice touch.The staff in Town Hall were so friendly and service and food were top notch.Breakfast next morning was lovely, love a menu to choose from.We were prob the last to leave the dining room, but no rush was put on us.The hotel is in town, free car parking onsite until checkout, located in town so we could shop till we dropped.

Such a wonderful friendly and comfortable hotel to stay at. The staff were amazing.. so helpful and giving of their time. Especially Trisha on reception. Enjoyed the dinner at the hotel immensely. The quality of food was excellent. We had no complaints and will definitely return.

KKtconnollyFanatastic hotel, staff very friendly, food was excellent and extremely helpful. Beautiful beach, great views of the Atlantic and a fantastic beach. Great golf course too, but woukld advise against using a caddy, of maybe just one caddy for the group because there are lots of blind shots and first time playing you would need some guidence, we used 2 caddies for 3 golfers and got charged 400 Euro just for the caddies, really spoiled the round of golf.

My daughter chose the Stella Maris for her Wedding Reception. What a find!? We were around 60 people. For the quality & location, the prices were (surprisingly) the best we'd found anywhere else. EVERY single guest also commented after, on the food quality being the best they'd ever had at a wedding!! Our meals were pre-chosen. They catered for any special dietary needs, (vegan, vegetarian, etc) and we were all served quickly. Food for young children/babies arrived almost immediately they were seated. Their attention to details like this was second to none and their helpfulness before and during the reception was genuinely 'exceptional”. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for a wedding reception. We felt looked after like 'family'. The location is fantastic too.... with plenty of accommodation available within walking distance (if the hotel itself is full). Its a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach, and there were live music events throughout the town of Kilkee, for after reception revelry.

PPengguna TetamuThe front reception staff are wonderful - thank you My room was great - I select this hotel every time I come here for business - I think it’s my 5th stay Close to airport and my work - this time the room was lovely but not sure what’s going on with the bed and pillows I suffered a bad back but did double up on my duvet to try and make it comfier. Showers are powerful and hotel, nice fresh towels every day. I found it quite expensive this time but I think it’s because it’s July but I did book well in advance. Thank you team 💪🏾

The Templegate is a superb town centre hotel with great staff, fabulous food and spacious, well appointed rooms. Its success emanates from the local owners, whose values filter down to every part of the operation. The result is a real gem located in the heart of Ennis town. Food and drinks offerings are superb. It must be good. It’s the favourite for locals, too. Every staff member exudes a professional yet friendly ethos that emanates throughout the hotel, which stands on the site of a former convent. Its unique design evokes a still remembered past. Yet with all the modern facilities. Free parking is an added bonus for guests visiting the beautiful surrounding countryside, castles and historic sites dating back billions of years. PPengguna TetamuWe ended up booking here last minute as our flight was cancelled without warning. Room booked online and quickly confirmed by telephone call as everyone was in a mad dash securing overnight accommodation. On arrival, 20:30 on a Sunday evening, to be greeted by Roisin. The lovely lady had taken it upon herself to upgrade us to the junior suite. It really was the kindest thing after such a long and difficult day. The hotel itself is lovely, well kept and all staff so helpful, even the barman ( sorry forgot your name), who gave us a big jug of filtered water for our room. The purpose of our trip was a wedding in Adare, to be honest I wish we had stayed here and just hired a cab for the wedding. Even sitting outside with a drink was pleasant. High praise for hotel and staff.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed for three nights over the June bank holiday weekend as a family of five. Room had 4 beds which was perfect. Everybody in the hotel was so welcoming and friendly, special mention to Claire who looked after the pet farm and brought my children to feed the pets and Abbey and Kate in the kids club who were absolutely brilliant with the kids. It was great to have an adults break too, best of both worlds, Food was great, weather was amazing. Already planning our return trip. Thank you.

PPengguna TetamuHotel was lovely, room was very spacious and bathroom was newly refurbished, although the bath was a bit too high, making getting out of the shower a little awkward. Food, I didn't think was too good. While breakfast came on a large plate, and there was plenty to eat, if only it could be eaten. Bacon and sausage seemed like they had been cooked ages ago, and were tough and cold (having said that - I like my food piping hot). Entertainment was excellent - something for everyone. I would definitely go back. Lovely helpful staff too. Yes, we had a great time

PPengguna TetamuLove the Castle Oaks Hotel, stayed here few years ago & fell in love with the place & the lovely friendly staff. It's the ideal place if u just want to relax & enjoy the walks down by the river. We stayed last weekend & really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is very good & plentiful, we had dinner both nights & we weren't disappointed. Maggie & Josie are out on their own, hotel is very lucky to have two hard working & friendly ladies. Only downside was that there was no live music in bar on Sat night, we were looking forward a sing song. We are looking forward to returning soon 💛

PPengguna TetamuI read a lot of the reviews for Myles Creek before booking and they were varied to say the least so I want to give a very honest review of my stay, which was with my wife for 3 nights in August 2023. First off this is not a modern franchise type hotel so if that's what you are looking for it's not for you. The building is an old building and while the rooms are certainly dated in style our room was spotless and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast has 3 options full Irish, scrambled eggs and toast or vegetarian, my wife doesn't like fried eggs so asked if she could have scrambled eggs with the full irish, the lovely lady who served us said this wasn't an option, seems odd but aside from that the full irish breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. The bar down stairs is a really nice bar that has excellent food and again helpful and friendly staff. So all in all in terms of bang for your buck I highly recommend Myle's Creek and I most certainly will return, just manage your expectations if a big fancy hotel is what you are after, think more family run, wholesome no frills and you wont be disappointed.
