Hotel 3 Bintang di Clermont-Ferrand

We had a great stay in this independent, fun, and slightly quirky (in a good way) hotel. The 3 staff members we interacted with were terrific and friendly, and we liked our room. The rooms are not large, which was fine with us as we were not staying a long time, but if you want a large room, you probably should book the largest they have. The room & bathroom were very clean and the bed comfy. If we come back through Clermont-Ferrand, we'll definitely stay here again! (And, breakfast was really good too...)

The hotel is located I. City center, near the tramway service line A. The personnel is very nice Ang helpful. The room has a little kitchen and is comfortable, can relax in the bathroom by taking a bath…. Breakfast offers some hot dishes, a choice of cheese and croissants and so on.

Points + : - emplacement géographique très intéressant pour être à la fois proche du centre-ville à pied (ou par le tram juste en bas de l'hôtel) et à la fois accessible en voiture. - l'accessibilité depuis l'autoroute est très rapide. Et outre le parking proposé par l'hôtel (mais à 8€ par nuit) il y a la possibilité de se garer à un parking longue durée (24h) pour 1.40€ à proximité. - personnel très accueillant et chambre très tranquille. - salle de bain spacieuse avec baignoire. Points - : - le coût du petit déjeuner est assez élevé (12€) versus ce qui est proposé. Mais pour un buffet libre service c'est malheureusement dans les coûts actuels. - le coût du parking est également élevé si on n'a pas la chance de trouver une place sur le parking longue durée...

Stayed one night. Located on the main square: while this location is very convenient and within walking distance of several sights, shops and restaurants, it is also noisy (no soundproofing). At the entrance there are a few steps down to reach the lobby, and then again a few steps up to reach the elevator. This is not the end of it though, because the elevator stops only on half floors, so there are more stairs to navigate with luggage to get to the room. No help with luggage is offered. Rooms are clean and modern. In the first room they gave me, the A/C didn't work; they moved me to another room where it worked well. Comfortable bed and pillows. Conveniently located power outlets. Well lit desk area. Amenities included electric kettle and espresso coffee maker. Bathroom with everything in working order. Shower with good water pressure. Wifi worked well. Breakfast buffet with reasonable selection and good quality items.

We booked to stay at the hotel as part of our long drive from Calais to the south of France. Just wanted somewhere to stay and set off early in the morning ( €69 for a Friday night) but were pleasantly surprised. As they were not busy we were offered a choice of rooms and bath or shower . Secure parking in the basement was €9.90 which we were glad of as had a car full of stuff . Really friendly welcome at reception and very helpful. The room was pleasant, masses of hot water, basic tea and coffee facilities, comfy bed, free wifi, everything we needed for a quick stay. Much better than another more expensive chain that we stayed in further north on the previous night.

Je recommande grandement ! Naufragé de la SNCF qui m'a laissé sans solution à Clermont Ferrand... Je me suis réfugié à l'Ibis style de la gare pour la nuit... Un personnel dévoué, accueillant, sympatique, à vos cotés dans vos galères plutot que de s'en laver les mains. Franchement, une expérience client que je souhaite à tous. Ils sont au top; une véritable Dream Team. L'équipe de l'hôtel IBIS Style Clermont Ferrand devrait coacher le personnel de la SNCF ! Les uns ont beaucoup à apprendre des autres.

We stopped here to split our journey from the Alps to home. My wife asked for a quiet room and that is exactly what we got. The beds are very comfortable. The room was well furnished and very clean. The only black mark was the coffee from the machines at breakfast. It was the worst for a long time and spoiled an otherwise good breakfast.

L'emplacement de l hôtel est très bien, mais au niveau du premier étage (côté qui donne sur les feux rouges )il faudrait peut être changer les fenêtres pour ne plus entendre les véhicules qui s 'arrêtent et redémarre surtout à 7 h . Le petit déjeuner est très bien il y a de tout.Les chambres sont propres mais la douche avait des traces noires au niveau des joints. Il y a aussi un bruit de compteur ou ventilation, dans le couloir du premier étage qu'on entend dans les chambres . Heureusement le personnel est très agréable il y a toujours une personne pour vous répondre...le petit salon est très sympa et le bar restaurant et un vrai plus...Les réceptionnistes sont souriants et répondent à vos questions gentiment, la personne en service le soir est très gentil,il pose des questions pour savoir si vous passez un bon séjour. J'y retournerai mais peut être pas une chambre côté rue !
