Tiada siapa yang membantu dengan bagasi tetapi boleh difahami melihat bagaimana hotel beroperasi dengan kakitangan yang minimum. Sangat membantu dengan menyimpan bagasi kami dan juga menampung beberapa barangan yang tertinggal semasa kami menyelesaikan pengangkutan. Sarapan pagi enak dan cepat. Akan mengesyorkan orang ramai untuk tinggal di sini lagi.

Staff very kind and helpful. Although I agree with energy saving, a small room with a window that does not open and the air conditioning that does not cool off at the desired temperature is not acceptable (a completely ineffective gradation is set). That the room was small was already evident from the booking, but the information on the restriction of opening the window for safety (a few cm) was completely hidden. Not exactly in the city center.

I recently stayed at the Moxy Hotel in Glasgow and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the hotel's trendy and vibrant atmosphere. Had a very pleasant stay , thank you to the front desk for arranging our preferred room type with ease. Pleasant clean room with a bath tub and a quiet area to get a good sleep. We didn't have breakfast included but purchased at the hotel , the full Scottish breakfast was fantastic and very tasty . The location is perfect , there is a bus stop outside that can take you to various points of loch lomond and the buses take contact less too.

You may think you've fallen into a time warp arriving at the Abbotsford hotel, the outside looks like a 50s motel, and the room decor is very dated and rough around the edges with scratches, bumps and marks on walls and furniture. The tea and coffee facilities were good, and the Tunnocks tea cake and caramel bars a nice touch. As a family of 5 it's rare to find a hotel that accommodates us well, and we were able to have an interconnecting room with bunk beds, plus a single in with a double in the main room. The doors open by a key from the outside, but didn't have a locking mechanism from the inside, which made me a little uneasy for my younger children, so I blocked their door with a suitcase to prevent them being able to leave the room. The room was a decent size, had good facilities, and I wouldn't have any issue staying a few days given the size of the room. The breakfast really was the highlight of the stay. We booked directly though the hotels own website and booked a room with breakfast included. The cereal selection was relatively limited, but the hot breakfast selection was excellent. My children all had pancakes, which were delicious and fluffy. They could choose a selection of toppings and were very happy. My husband paid the £3 supplement to upgrade to the large breakfast and all the components were tasty. I had the savoury French toast with bacon, and although they didn't have any maple syrup the waitress did bring me some golden syrup for with them. So although the hotel was a little rough around the edges, we enjoyed our stay and it was perfectly located to visit Hill House.

Dalam keadilan penginapan pertama, bilik yang kami tempah adalah kira-kira £32 kerana ia adalah hari minggu. Ia adalah yang paling murah yang ada di dalam kawasan pusat bandar Glasgow. Oleh itu, ia mendapat pujian untuk menjadi yang termurah, namun biliknya kecil. Kami mendapat bilik dengan tingkap kedua-dua kali, sebenarnya saya rasa tanpa tingkap anda akan berasa sesak. Dalam contoh ini, pergi terus adalah yang paling murah - jadi saya terlepas peluang itu & pergi melalui Trip.com kerana ia adalah pilihan ke-2 termurah. Saya lebih suka membelanjakan sedikit wang tambahan untuk mendapatkan Premier Inn atau sesuatu. Bilik double itu kecil sehingga anda perlu merangkak ke atas katil untuk pergi ke sisi lain kerana tidak ada ruang yang cukup untuk berjalan di bahagian bawah katil. Bilik mandi pada asasnya adalah bilik basah sebesar tandas kapal terbang. Kebersihannya tidak begitu baik pada kedua-dua kali kami pergi. Kotoran di dinding bilik tidur, kotoran di bilik air yang belum dibersihkan entah berapa lama. Kotoran di lantai semasa perjalanan ke bilik juga tidak kelihatan. Kakitangan di hotel adalah baik, kami tidak diganggu oleh orang lain yang turut menginap di sana, jadi jika anda benar-benar mencari tempat untuk bermalam & tidak merancang untuk berlama-lama di bilik hotel anda - maka lakukannya . Jika anda sukakan lebih banyak ruang daripada 3 langkah anda masuk ke dalam bilik untuk ke katil & bilik mandi yang boleh anda jalani - kemudian teruskan ke tempat ini. Sarung klasik yang lebih murah tidak selalunya lebih baik.

Perfect location surrounded by a lot of restaurants and pubs. A nearby bus stop to go to the airport. The room was not 100% clean and the furniture looked a bit old. Sometimes it was a bit noisy as you can hear clearly when others walked and talked in the hallway but I didn’t mind so much as the prices were very reasonable! I didn’t try the breakfast but the area looked very comfy!

We booked this as we knew our flight home to Glasgow Airport was landing late and we could not face the long drive home at such a time. By the time we cleared with our bags and walked to the hotel from the terminal it was 2am when we checked in. Unfortunately we were given room 115, which was opposite the elevators on the first floor. It was also not only an accessible room with wet bathroom (no shower unless you wanted to flood the whole room) but also had a ”connecting” door to the next room. No idea who was on the either side, but not ideal for either of us given our late arrival. I was feeling extremely tired and and went straight to my bed - unfortunately it was far too soft and it was a double, so we tended to fall into the middle where the ”hole” or ”dip” in the mattress was. With us both trying to sleep on the outside of the mattress for comfort we continually pulled the small duvet from each other in an attempt to keep warm after our return from Africa. The pillows were also too soft for my liking, however that was minor compared to the mattress. There hours later, at around 5am the corridor started coming alive with excited children heading off on their holidays, running and squealing, literally!! I can't blame them for being enthusiastic, but perhaps their parents might have understood that some guests might still wish to sleep at that time? Thus our morning continued so when we finally dragged ourselves up for breakfast around 9am I was extremely tired and somewhat grumpy... Now to breakfast; a fairly good selection was on offer if you came at a quiet time. I saw some guests leave towards the end our meal time as they did not want to wait in the queue for what was left. My main gripe about the breakfast was again, not the hotel's fault, but the guests, who presumably are not used to staying in hotels and don't know what swerving utensils are for. I saw one female guest pick up and touch several slices of bread and returning them before picking what she put in the toaster machine. I purposely picked a slice she hadn't pawed and waited whilst it went through the machine, then just as it arrived a young man (her son I believe) whisked it away in front of me. Manners non existent. The breakfast staff were helpful and friendly and the food on offer was perfectly adequate if all the guests knew how to behave. All in all, we picked this hotel for a catch up sleep after a late flight in and we didn't achieve that so we will not be back.
