It is a very beautiful house with large and comfortable rooms and a beautiful balcony. Snacks can be selected by yourself and settled upon check-out. Parking is also very convenient. The breakfast was very good at 7 euros. Worth staying.

Located in a beautiful 1878 building and converted into a very nice hotel. Perfect location right on the river just five minutes from the train station in the heart of Cochem. Perfect walkable town with lots of charm and don’t miss a tour of the stunning castle! We had our best meal at Akropolis! Wonderful Greek food and incredible service. Reservations are a must in the evening due to the influx of tourists! Nice breakfast at the hotel.

The Hotel Villa Vinum is in a recently and beautifully renovated building with a combination of old world comfort/charm and modern flare. The ground floor has a lovely sitting room which was a nice place for our small group to unwind, at the end of the day. The rooms vary in size but all are nicely appointed with spacious, and comfortable bathrooms. Breakfast was traditional and served in a bright and inviting dining room with access to an outdoor patio. We were greeted by the proprietor who was more than helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. He made some great restaurant recommendations and was forthcoming with suggestions for places to avoid, which was very helpful.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a restored building with great decor. It is in a great location overlooking the river, close to the station and an easy walk into the town centre. We had a superior double room and luckily got the one with the corner turret window with great view to the castle. Large room with opening windows, comfortable bed and separate toilet and shower. Comfortable lounge chairs to sit and watch the Euro football matches with a wine (or two) from the honesty bar downstairs - what a brilliant idea! Good breakfast in a nice dining room, plus the lounge to relax and read. The weather stopped us using the back terrace which looked inviting. The host Sebastian was very welcoming and helpful (organised laundry for us). We were sorry not to be able to stay longer, highly recommended.

We cannot fault this beautiful hotel. First impression was being amazed by the stylish and chique layout and reception in an old but rennovated building. The squeekly floor boards gave it a lot of charm. All done in good taste. Rooms spotlessly clean and breakfast was great! There is however a ventilator, so no air co. They have a honesty bar with great wines. I highly recommend the white Jacoby! (From Moessel). There is parking for 5 euros per day. Room prices at the high end but it was very very much worth the experience! We wanted to extend the stay but they were fully booked. The host Sebastian very kindly recommended their sister hotel and went out of his way to help us with the booking which we really appreciated.

We spent two nights here and very much enjoyed our stay. It is a very quaint hotel and the couple that owns it seem very kind. The rooms were so interesting, no two are the same and we have plenty of space and everything we could need. The "bar" in the breakfast room was perfect - you just write down what you take and they bill it to your room - we definitely took advantage of that. Cochem is an adorable town that we truly enjoyed and Villa Vinum was part of that enjoyment.

Feels like staying as a guest in a home rather than a hotel. Large spacious rooms tastefully decorated with a shower where you have space. No trying to shower in a confined space without hitting something and water power that gives a great sensation. Just luxiourious. Good breakfast with beautifully fresh bread. Tea and coffee available, as part of the room rate, 24 hours a day in the dining area. Access to use the dining and living room space for relaxing. Plus access to a good selection of drinks, both chilled and at room temperature, (wines, beers, soft drinks) in the dining area. Just take and leave a note to put on your bill. A host and hostess available to answer questions and give good advice on local restaurants and things to do. Thank you Sebastian and family.

Tolles inhabergeführtes Hotel, der Aufenthalt war ein Erlebnis. Mutiges aber stilsicheres Design. Sehr unkompliziertes und gemütliches Zusammensitzen abends möglich mit Selbstbedienung. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Zentrale Lage. Sonderwünsche kein Problem.
