Terrible Experience. AVOID this hotel if you can.
My family and I were extremely disappointed with our recent stay at your Holiday Inn. We chose this hotel primarily for its shuttle service, which failed miserably both upon arrival and departure. Upon check-in, we encountered difficulties, as there were no clear instructions provided for the shuttle, especially for international travelers.
Unfortunately, despite informing the front desk of our need to catch a specific shuttle, we missed it due to a lack of communication.
Here’s what happened: On the morning of our check-out, we clearly told the front desk representative that we wanted to take the shuttle to the airport, stressing how important it was for us not to miss it. With an unhelpful attitude, the rep assured us not to worry, stating that the shuttle leaves on time every half hour. Feeling reassured, we decided to have a small breakfast near the reception. Shockingly, the shuttle left 5 minutes early without any warning from the staff, including the representative who was still there and aware of our request.
When we realized what had happened and sought help from the front desk, the representative was unable to assist and seemed indifferent to our plight. We ultimately had to call an XL Uber and incur unexpected costs.
As regular guests at Holiday Inn locations in other cities, we were very disappointed this time around. Hotel shuttles are essential for airport-adjacent accommodations, and I strongly suggest that Holiday Inn improve staff training and customer service protocols.
