Hotel 4 bintang Cologne yang Popular

The Courtyard Marriott of Cologne was clean, beautiful and a great location. It was a short walk to the Central train Station and near all the sights of Cologne. I was only there for one night and did not get to experience the breakfast as we checked out before it was served, but they did provide me with a lunch box which included a ham and cheese sandwich, a banana and a water. There is coffee and boxed water 24 hours a day in the lobby. The beds were super comfortable and the temperature of the room was ideal, as we had control over the air conditioner, whereas other hotels we stayed in the same week, did not allow us control and we were very warm. The room we had was a nice size and the view was of the empty courtyard which was extrememly quiet and definitely highly desirable. Front staff upon checking in, was not friendly, however after check in everyone else we came in contact with was very friendly. I didn't get the ladies name at the front desk, but she definitely didn't give us a positive welcome. Glad her shift ended and everyone else we dealt with, and passed was extremely friendly and that is what the experience should be like.

This hotel is conveniently located near the city’s main attractions. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was really nice. There are plenty of choice to choose from. The staff was friendly and supportive.

This was my first time back since my military days and having travelled through Germany in the 3 years I was here, I haven’t changed my opinion that Cologne is the best city to visit. This time I was here for the FIBO fair and stayed at the Mercure for the first time. As expected it was first class and the hospitality of its staff was impeccable. The hotel is out to the west which means a 20-30 minute tram ride into the main area around the cathedral and river but once you master the payment system you will enjoy the experience, with the trams being on time throughout. The only criticism is that being a fitness person and witnessing others like me staying at the hotel, the gym was poor consisting of only 3 cardio machines in a tiny room. A small set of dumbbells would be a welcome addition and would have justified a 5 star instead of the 4 I have given. Otherwise well done to all the staff for a highly enjoyable stay. Quietly, conveniently and serenely stayed at this hotel for the past 6 days. Good to recommend this hotel as a priority choice especially for cologne travellers who preferable to stay away from bustling areas. An enjoyable back and forth daily walk from hotel to train station whereby some good restaurants are the best solutions of our hungers. Highly recommended to stay and definitely will stay again in the future. Thank you..

close to train station. however I did have a bit of difficulty finding a path to the hotel from the station. Google maps was showing me different directions - the problem is that the station is parallel to the dom and to get to the road level, you have to do down and not up the stairs to the dom. I did not use the facilities or the food. I did appreciate that they had water in the room and fruits at the reception area. They also had left luggage at no charge.

Well, the apartment is good, a bit bigger than a normal hotel room, but by no means ample. There are some irritating failures of design: Most pulling knobs are difficult to pull, being a smooth cylinder or similar. Only the fridge door has a proper pulling shape, so they were aware of the usefulness of the design, but chose not to do it on the rest. Also, the microwave has a grill, but also a notice on the door that says never to use the grill because it will start the fire alarm ??? Easier to buy non-grill microwaves, I'd say. They have something about fire alarms, because they make you sign a document where you declare to know about them and specify the fines for setting one accidentally. It discourages you from cooking at all :-) Also the bed can be raised and you get a sofa . The bed surface is one plank, it's comfortable, but the two ”arms” of the sofa are long and hard, easy to hit in the night if you rise from the bed. But these are generally minor inconveniences. The apartment looks clean in general, but there was a big exception. We noticed during the first night a strong old-sweat smell when in the bed. Investigation proved it to come from the mattress protector, which was also a bit brown when we took the sheet out. Clearly it hadn't been washed. I don't know what is the general policy in hotels about mattress protectors, but this one was obviously dirty, and they didn't wash it. We didn't take the issue to the management, we were tired, we just took the mattress protector away and slept without problems afterwards. So we don't know which would have been the reaction to this. but that shouldn't happen anyway.

There was no air conditioning (AC) even though the hotel advertised as having it. Their excuses was that it was too cool at night to operate the AC for the hotel even though it was actually very warm outside. Translation: the entire hotel is either on heat or AC, they are too frugal to allow use of the advertised AC, or their system is outdated and does not actually work properly. Very hot and stuff room. The odd thing was is that the hotel lobby seemed to have AC. The hallways and room were uncomfortably hot. Upon checking in there was only a little bit of toilet paper was left on the roll. Fortunately there was an extra roll provided. Only a few sheets of Kleenex were in the box. Also, the hand soap dispenser was nearly empty. It seems not much care is given to the rooms between guests. On our last day the housekeeper knocks on the door early in the morning even tough the “do not disturb” sign was hung on the door. It was a basic room with furnishings that included a desk, a small round table, 2 small nightstands, a desk chair, and one sitting chair. There was no usable refrigerator, just a mini bar. The was only one suitcase rack situated in the closet. We had to use the sitting chair for our other suitcase. The beds were not too comfortable. Also the pillow case did not completely cover the pillow, so your head might rest upon the exposed portion of the pillow where the lasts hundreds of guest placed their heads. Bathroom was OK but a bit smelly. The shower had low water pressure. Some water will leak out under the shower door to the floor. Stepping over the high tub with a slippery shower floor is a bit precarious. Internet speed was 3.81 Mbps in both upload and download, with 8 ms latency. The location is near the chocolate museum and a good pizza and pasta restaurant is nearby. The cathedral is less than a mile away. At almost 400 euros a night, it was very expensive for a poor experience. Perhaps HN stands for “Not Happy.”

酒店很新很乾凈， 前台小夥服務也不錯。早上10點多就到了問我是不是酒店會員可以提前給我房間。果斷拿出那張多年前的會員卡（現在都是掃碼註冊了）就給我房間了。酒店早餐應有盡有很豐盛，如附圖！

Very decent hotel that is my yearly base camp for Gamescom. Very good location for old town Cologne, 5 minute walk from Heumarkt and all the restaurants near the Rhine. Clean and modern rooms, normal size, good business amenities. To get to the Messe you need to take public transport. One huge plus for the Hotel is the wonderful cocktailbar in the hotel that makes the most amazing cocktails, mocktails and bites. Recommended

Great hotel in a lovely quiet spot. Room was very large and at back of the hotel looking out to park/railway line. Fridge, room safe and air-con all made our stay more comfortable. We didn't eat in the hotel but did use the bar (thank you for the drinks vouchers for each day we declined the room/towels being refreshed/cleaned) and there were plenty drink options in a lovely setting. We used the kiosk shop next door on our last morning for a quick coffee/juice/toastie/pastry as we had an early start. We arrived and left from Köln Hbf and found travel to and from the hotel easy using either Christoph Str stop or Hansaring Station. It was a lovely location, and we also used the restaurants close-by 2 nights. Staff were very helpful and friendly, including storing our luggage on arrival and giving us a larger room than booked. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Cologne.
