Hotel berhampiran Cologne City Center, Cologne

Köln HBF'den çıkınca, Dom'un hemen yanında konumu ve temizliği harika olan bir otel. Köln için konaklamada doğru seçim.

Bij het inchecken ging het oké, ik spreek zelf niet de oorspronkelijke taal en wilde Engels praten, dat werd niet in dank afgenomen aan de blik op het gezicht. Verder kregen wij een foute route beschrijving naar de kamer, we moesten helemaal naar achteren lopen in het hotel om daar de lift te nemen, maar hij zat naast de receptie. Verder wat het hotel zwaar verouderd en was het dak lek want het regende en ik kreeg druppels op het hoofd. De hotel kamer was verouderd, alleen de douche niet, die was zeer luxe. De kamer had goede hygiëne en was goed schoon. De locatie was zeer uitstekend!

Our stay was AMAZING! We enjoyed the view from our hotel room, we would love to visit again definitely. The front desk staffs are friendly and carpark nearby.

Wegens de hevige overstromingen van juli 2021, in Duitsland, Nederland en België waren wij niet in staat om af te reizen naar Keulen. De hostel weigerde echter enige vorm van compensatie! Zelfs na contact met de accommodatie de dag zelf en bemiddeling via booking.com weigerden ze elke vorm van tegemoetkoming (gedeeltelijke terugbetaling, omboeken, voucher,..). We hebben het volledige bedrag moeten betalen ondanks overmacht. Helemaal niet klantvriendelijk! Wij boeken hier nooit meer!!

Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. Splendid Location Situation a few minutes walk from the train station and the main city area, is this hotel definite one of the most strategic location in Cologne. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. The waiter even suggested where I could sit so that I can get the best view of the area. Awesome! I would like to thank the remarkable staff for making my stay in Köln memorable und unforgettable. I would definitely be staying in this hotel again when I visit Cologne. In German (Deutsch) Das Hotel Mondial in Köln ist mein Favorit und ist mit Sicherheit das Hotel von der Accor Hotel Gruppe. Ich habe bei der Buchung das falsche Datum eingegeben und musste meine Buchung ändern. Die Mitarbeiterin. hat mir geholfen meine Buchung zu ändern. Wegen Streiks und Probleme mit Deutsch Bahn musste ich meine Termine verschieben. Ich habe das Hotel gefragt ob ich früher einchecken kann um mein Termin online wahr zu nehmen. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. In diesem Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter:innen nicht nur freundlich sondern auch hilfsbereit. Diese Motivation ist leider eine Seltenheit auch bei den Luxus-Marken von Accor. was told after checked in that they were undergoing water piping in midnight and bo water from 11pm to 5am next morning. wish they had posted this when made the booking. other than that, it is always my favorite hotel to stay at in Cologne. location is excellent, 300 meter to central station and city center.

Es ist ein recht großes Hotel, wir haben den beschriebenen Luxus vermisst! Der Frühstücksraum war sehr groß, es war laut und ungemütlich, keine Spur von dem beschriebenen gehobenen Standard! Auf keinen Fall 29,90€ wert. Essen war in Ordnung aber es fehlte halt an Pkatz und vorallem am nötigen Ambiente! Grosses Manko der Pool und Wellnessbereich, der zusätzlich bezahlt werden musste, 16€ pro Person wenn man morgens vor dem Frühstück schwimmen möchte ist ein no go! Für diese Hotel Kategorie sollte man im Zimmer eine Kaffeemaschine haben :-( ebenso gab es keinen normalen Handspiegel an der Wand. Fazit laut der super Beschreibung ist man enttäuscht, wir haben mehr erwartet!

After a long hard journey we had a pleasant enough checkin, but after having paid a lot extra for booking first class rooms, we were told that the first class lounge was closed. I asked what was the point in paying sky much more for first class rooms, and I was told the rooms have coffee machines. For the price difference I could have gone and bought coffee machines, but frankly I am not interested in a coffee machine, I paid for the rooms so we could use the lounge, so I felt ripped off. My room was boiling hot, and the air conditioning does not work. They sent someone to the room, but they could not get is below 26 degrees. They changed my room to a much smaller one, but it was a bit cooler. I came back to my room having left the aircon on all day and all evening. It was still very warm. I chose this hotel as it is described as air conditioned. It is not air conditioned at all. I could not sleep, it was too warm. I called reception and they brought me a fan. I am so disappointed to have not had what I expected, and most annoyingly the room was described as air conditioned when all it really has is a noisy fan. I should ask for partial refund for our two rooms, they were not worth the money. Then, the service at the bar was terrible. We ordered a round of drinks, it took more than half an hour to bring three beers. Not busy, just really slow.

The Hotel shows five stars! The room had no wifi whatsoever, although they showed three different wifi lans. Attempts to bridge this gap with mobile hotspots were not helpful. Noises from other rooms were audible, which means a bad noise insulation. Worst of all was that there was first only boiling hot water in the bathroom. This was due to the fact that all cold water supplies were closed. Still after opening them ourselves, one of the two lavatories cold water regulator was not functional. Shocking was that the shower was switching from regulated 38 degrees Celsius to suddenly boiling hot water and then to ice cold water. This made showering an unpleasant not to say dangerous encounter! You judge if this Hotel deserves the five star rating. Our attempt to communicate the shortcomings was prompted with the statement that the maintenance technicians had left! (???)
