Always a pleasure to stay at Taj Samudra. Great service and a fantastic Breakfast Buffet. Some of the pricing e.g Fresh Orange juice in the Lobby cafe was extortionate, maybe an oversight

Great location with amazing views.... rooms are v tired and need renovation for sure. Staff is super helpful :)

嚴重不推薦，行程裏住宿最差的一次。 前台辦理入住時，酒店客服就有刁難，説網上付款沒有到位，讓自己在前台再次付款，説如果付款重複了可以退款，但實際上攜程已經轉了錢給酒店，還給了我兩個訂單號讓前台查，結果前台就説不知道號碼是幹什麼用的，裝傻不願意查，直説要再付錢。最後攜程客服幫忙解決了問題，酒店才讓入住。入住後發現這是一家印度酒店，而且酒店內有意思臟毒的東西，強烈不推薦入住！

The days spent at Taj Samudra were beautiful and pleasant. Their hospitality was outstanding. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff were very friendly. The beach of Gall Face is in front of the hotel. I enjoyed the stunning view of the beach from balcony.

Ports's of Call Restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience that beautifully combines exquisite cuisine with a warm, inviting ambiance. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxing, setting the perfect backdrop for our dinner. And the staff greeted us with genuine smiles, and their service was simply perfect. A special shoutout to MR Dilshan, Chathura, Dias, Ruwan, and Gayan, whose attentiveness made our evening even more enjoyable. As if the evening couldn’t get any better, they surprised us with an anniversary cake that was not only delicious but also beautifully decorated. It was a thoughtful touch that truly made our night special. So thank you very much for the Manager and Team

This was my third trip to Colombo and Taj Samundra and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! All three times. From the moment I stepped in, I was treated to exceptional service, warm hospitality, and unparalleled luxury. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay special. The food at the hotel's restaurant was divine, with a wide range of delicious options to suit every palate. Dilhara, Tushara, Chaminda, Gayan, Bawantha, Dias all of them were personally attending each and every need at The restaurant "Port of Calls" Amenities were top-notch, including a state-of-the-art gym and stunning pool. Overall, Taj Samundra is a true gem. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience. We had a dinner at the Port’s of Call Restaurant for my husband’s birthday. The staff is very friendly and service is excellent. Also Mr Dilhara arranged a complementary bday cake as well. Food is delicious. If you are a fan of Indian cuisine then the Port’s of calll restaurant is the best place to have your next dinner reservation at heart of Colombo.

The name, the location, the staff, the view, the property, the room, the service, the food, the wines and spirits now has become a beautiful memory for me longing to go back. That’s why they call it #tajness Luxury hospitality with a human touch, I have travelled around the world and stayed at a lot of the world famous brands of luxury resorts, hotels & palaces over and over again. This time my stay at Colombo Sri Lanka was truly unforgettable, specially I wined, dined and stayed at Taj Samudra for 5 nights, my suite #251 it was so cozy and comfortable with an amazing view of the of the Indian Ocean, the food, whether it was the lavish breakfast buffet at PORTS OF CALL, or the business lunch at GOLDEN DRAGON or the mouth water Indian delicacies for dinner at NAVRATNA or sipping some world class wines or single malts at the Taj Club lounge situated on the 6th floor. As a very picky and demanding guest myself, who expects finesse in every detail. As my association with Taj Hotels goes back a very long time ( a few decades ) this stay was very special one, the way they took care of me and my friends was truly amazing, from the time I checked in the GM Samrat, the Hotel Manager Karan, the F&B director Avishek & their entire team who welcomed me like a Maharaja, after a quick photo session, I was taken directly to my suite and the checkin formalities was done there. After having a quiet afternoon catching up with my mails and calls, my friend joined me at the Taj Club lounge where we enjoyed our drinks along with some delicious bites watching the Sunset. The next morning after a quiet and comfortable sleep I hit pool for a quick swim and then after taking a hot steam, I went for breakfast, where I met the amazing Executive Chef Sajesh, a very quiet and shy guy he and his team just mesmerised me with with mouth watering food whether it was the Local Sri Lankan, Indian, Chinese cuisines during my entire stay including the Delicious takeaway of Mutton Biriyani and the Mutton Gulati Kebabs he had made for me a short notice. He always gave me a big surprise with some amazing dishes which my mouth is still watering when I am writing about it. The attention to detail in service whether it was the staff’s of Restaurants, Club lounge, Housekeeping, In room dining, the Lobby bar, Front desk, Concierge,Gym & Swimming pool, the last not the least the Doorman and the Security guards, they all always welcomed me with a warm smile. I interacted a lot with the staffs of various departments during my stay whom a few I remember their names and others I don’t and because of that I am not going to write the names of any staff so that I don’t hurt anyone. The biggest joke I have to say is that some of the staff thought I was some secret audit guy as I was talking to them in the industry language. Once again I Thank each one of you from the bottom of my heart for making me feel so special and making my stay such a memorable one. Namaste I am going to mention a few names

Very nice hotel with a beautiful siggtseen on the beach. I spent only one night there in the room 511. The Port’s of Call Restaurant was amazing. I had a very good pizza. The service was very good. Dilhara, Tithila, Indunil and Chaminda were very friendly and professional.

Wonderful hospitality with delicious food and kind staff specially Mr. Lasantha treat us very kindly. Lobby environment very calm and spacious. Specially cappuccino with cookie’s warmth and tasties. We book High tea from feelo and they gives us good discounts as well.
