Very good service and allowed early check in when a room was available. Would recommend to friends and use again if traveling to Colombo. Roof pool worth a visit!

The room is soo nice and spacious. So clean and hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a shopping mall and places you can have fun in the same building. A huge swimming pool as well. I always stay at marino beach colombo.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good stay, great staff — pool‑side dining rules a drawback The team at Marino Beach Hotel were absolutely amazing warm, attentive, and always ready to help, which made my stay really pleasant and comfortable. The one disappointment was the strict policy: Food are not allowed near the pool or sun‑lounge areas, only in one corner of the rooftop Level 10. This isn’t a practical choice many guests want to relax and enjoy a light meal or snack while staying by the water. Having to dry off and change fully to enter the restaurant meant it was often empty, and I think the hotel misses out on extra business this way. Otherwise, a nice, well‑kept property with lovely people just hope they review that rule soon.

Avoid: Misleading Room Categories & Poor Service I booked two "Superior King Rooms," but upon arrival, the hotel claimed this category doesn't exist and forced me into basic "Deluxe" rooms. They continue to advertise these non-existent categories online. As a family with elderly members and children, we were also assigned rooms at opposite ends of the floor, despite our request for proximity. Management was dismissive and blamed the booking platform rather than taking responsibility for their own inventory. Be aware: What you book is not what you will get. I expected 5-star service but received a downgrade and zero accountability. Save your money and look elsewhere.

This hotel is second to none in regard to friendly, welcoming staff & cleanliness. The hotel provides an amazing buffet breakfast. Comfy beds & large rooms.

Although I checked in late and missed the sunset, the location was fantastic. I stayed in a Signature Plus Seaview Twin Room this time. The amenities were plentiful, and the shower pressure was excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was also delicious. However, I recommend dining indoors for breakfast. On the terrace, birds (crows) were eyeing the food. While the staff were constantly vigilant, some guests still had their food snatched when the staff weren't looking. The adjoining shopping center isn't particularly large, but it's perfect for a post-meal stroll or to kill a bit of time. The main reason I chose this hotel was definitely the infinity pool! Since it was the rainy season, I took advantage of breaks in the weather to use it, and it was truly amazing. I wish I could have stayed for two or more nights to enjoy it more leisurely. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and I would love to stay at this hotel again.

Had a great stay ! Everything was perfect and great selection in the buffet area and other restaurants. Amazing rooftop with pool and bar. Lovely staff both in reception / restaurants and Spa. The only minus was the room view and rooftop view due to construction going on, but it’s not that important for me. The room was spacious and with great facilities, loved their bath lotion and speaker in the bathroom as well !! Definitely recommend.

Excellent service and complete facilities, including a gym, sauna, and infinity pool. Laundry is affordable, and they even offer complimentary tea. There's a rooftop garden where you can watch the coastal train go by. The rooms are also spacious.

That was one of my best experiences staying in the big city of Sri Lanka. Kids friendly hotel. Really recommended.

We came to Sri Lanka for Chinese New Year, and the country gave us a wonderful experience. The hotel's service was excellent; they even added an extra bed for us since we were traveling with a child. That evening, we had Chinese food on the 10th floor and saw the stunning infinity pool. The Chinese food was quite good. Breakfast was also fantastic, and we got to see the small seaside train from the second floor where we ate! And, of course, the ocean! The tea here is excellent, definitely worth trying.

For example i went to Galle face mall by the hotel taxi Price is same Uber in room each days the hotel provides different kind of Srilankan tea Last thing i wana say that The sound system in the bathroom was a very thoughtful idea. Thank you for everything
