I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel on September 19th in room 32. My wife and I traveled from Negombo specifically to stay at your hotel, and I am appalled by the condition of the room we were given. We had planned to stay for an extended period but left after just 3 hours due to the unacceptable state of the room. Despite paying 5,500 rupees for our stay, the experience was far below any reasonable standard. I have stayed at your hotel before, and during my previous visits, the rooms were well-maintained. However, this time, it was clear that the current situation is due to severe negligence by your staff. The air conditioning was malfunctioning, the toilet cover was filthy, and the bed sheets and pillows had a terrible odor, clearly indicating they had not been cleaned properly. Additionally, the walls were stained and in a disgusting state. When I requested a different room, I was bluntly told that no other rooms were available. I demand that you take immediate action to address these issues, as this level of negligence is completely unacceptable. I trusted your hotel based on my previous positive experiences, but this visit has completely shattered that trust. I strongly urge you to investigate how such poor standards have become the norm and take corrective measures immediately.
