This were one of the best holidays in my lifetime. Thank you so much, all of the SOL team! (January 2024) Hotel: The Resort is a paradise with very nice rooms and a wonderful, flowering pleasure ground. All buildings are harmoniously integrated in the gardens and everything is very well maintained. You see the love for nature and harmony in all arrangements. Almost every day I discovered new lovable details. The atmosphere is pleasant and familiar. That´s because the resort is small (only 19 beds) and because all staff members are very kind, competent and helpful. I experienced that everybody (management, houseceeping, service, maintenance, ...) was commited to make the guests´ stays as recreative and convinient as possible. Food: The Chef, Manuhara, is extraordinary - simply said, he provides gourmet cuisine. Even without the ayurvedic treatment, I would have enjoyed the high quality vegan food. The dishes not only were ALWAYS delicous but also were arranged aesthetically and rich in variety. A feast for all senses! And surprisingly, I missed nothing, although in my ereyday life I like to eat cheese and meat. Ayurvedic Treatment: The ayurvedic doctors are highly professional and are always accessible for questions and requests. They explain what they are doing and at least one time every day they asked how we were and we had a consultaion if needed or wished. The treatments were prescribed according to the ayurvedic typology, and adjusted to complaints and recovery process. All therapists were very competent and empathic. Obviously, the most experienced therapists, like Nishanti and Wasanthi, provided awsome massages and oil treatments like shirodara or different vastis. But also the the less expirienced therapists treated us masterfully and effective. The resort and the ayurvedic treatment is highly recommendable.

Wonderful service, The owner is ready to do whatever he can to help. Tropical trees surround the house and you’ll be waken up with the singing of the birds in the morning. Very tasty breakfast, both local flavor and western.

My recent stay at Clock Inn Dehiwala was an absolute delight. The hotel location and exceptional service made it a memorable experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, the welcoming staffs Akash and Dara made me feel right at home. I arrived late at the night and check-in process was quick and smooth.Also they were giving me suggestions about my dinner for the night which is very thoughtful of them. The room was spacious ,clean and well decorated, bed and pillows are so comfortable and that makes me sleep like a baby through out the stay.The bathroom is like a half of the room size, shower area is seperated with glass doors. The breakfasts is excellent with a choice of continental and some local foods with fresh fruits, Juice and serials.Sangeedhaan is always will be there at live cooking station with a big smile to help you.The only suggestion I have is to have a cold milk during breakfast time. I really enjoyed the garden out side of the room where where you can enjoy complimentary coffee and tea through out the day . The housekeeping staffs, Neris , Kogul and Sagar is so friendly and always will be there to assist with a big smile. Specially Neris,he will always greeted with a big smile. Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was attentive and accommodating, making my experience even more enjoyable. In conclusion, Clock Inn Dehiwala exceeded my expectations. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, I highly recommend this charming hotel for a wonderful getaway. I can't wait to return for another stay in the future.

I have just been to this facility for a full body massage and the experience I had was terrible. I booked over the phone but when I arrived, the manager was trying to find where my booking was and who I am. They had mixed up my booking with another client who had booked with me with similar name. The manager spoke to me to clarify who I was. The hospital wanted me to come to the hotel but the people in the hotel did not have a clue. They don't have a proper system to follow up clients. They charged me more than what I was told on the phone and when I questioned they said because the room was air conditioned and better facility they need to charge more. When I went in to the spa room facility it was 31 degrees in temperature and full of sunlight in to the room. Attached are photos as proof. After my treatment I complained about it but they never even offered an apology or compensation for facilities that they couldn't uphold. Instead they said to write my issues to their management. Treatment itself was good but since the overall experience was extremely bad and it was definitely not value for money. I will never recommend this place to anyone. You would rather pay a bit more and go somewhere else like Spa Ceylon in Mount Lavinia.

The hostel has the best location: really calm area, just 200mts from the beach and 15 minutes by train from the city center (Colombo). Good atmosphere. Amazing common area. Beautiful sea view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free filtered water. Shared rooms (With fans) Private Rooms (With and Without A/C) The area around has many conveniences: market, pharmacy, restaurants. Just 15 min walking distance from Mount Lavinia train station and 5 min walking to bus stand (many options to go to Colombo)

Good place. Nice staff. Great swimming pool. But need more maintenance on room. Very old and lots of ants. My daughter got bites.

So we stayed 4 nights at the Mount Lavinia Hotel. It looks great from the outside with the nice photos but sadly once you go inside you find a hotel that is not far from falling apart and is very much in need of investment and repair. It was attractive as the room rate was very reasonable, but it's reasonable for a reason. We arrived late and found it odd that when we went to the lift on the 2nd floor, the concierge ran down to the 1st floor to get the lift. We realised later that it was because the lift buttons on the 2nd floor were broken. For 3 of the 4 nights the television in our room did not work. We had to chase reception continuously to get them to get the tv fixed. The aircon was sometimes cool and sometimes not cool. The food was pretty good and in general the hotel is relaxing for the guests however it often seems like the staff are also on holiday as it takes a long time to get service in the restaurant and most things take a long time to get done. The wifi was also pretty ”patchy” with connections often dropping and reconnecting, which can be a bit frustrating if you're trying to get anything done. If you're looking for a reasonably priced relaxing place this hotel is ok if you can close an eye to a few shortcomings. The hotel is in need of upgrading but then you would expect the nightly rates would be higher. 

Granbell colombo is the most beautiful city hotel in colombo , It offer really japanese hospitality experience , foods are really tasty , Hotel has most beautiful infinity pool at roof top. That experience is very attractive . Roof top bar is little bit crowded in weekend . But bar staff provide quick service. Also Room has consist with modern features . And Room has bath tab . It is really nice. Overall experience is really worth for money.staff was very friendly. Mihiranga from reception he helps us very friendly during our stay and restaurant staff Niroshan , kasun is very helpfull . We will definitely come back again . Thanks Granbell ❤
