The Drury Hotel is absolutely amazing. Considering I was traveling far from home, on a budget --- I was able to cover all of my families food needs with Drury's free abundance of tasty food items. We were able to use more of our money for gasoline for the trip. My 11 year old loved the food, the pool, & so did I.

Upon checking in I asked about coffee and was told there is none in the lobby you have coffee in your room. We all know you’ll want that for breakfast. We have traveled across the country 2 times in a month and every hotel has a coffee or express machine in every lobby complimentary to guest. Then upon getting to our room I needed a hot bath after all this traveling but alas the stopper in the tub is broke and you couldn’t take a bath unless you are a toddler or smaller since the tub is so small. After my “shower” I wanted a cold drink but couldn’t find an ice machine and no signs pointing me in a direction so I had to come back to my room call the front desk to find out it’s located all the way at the end of a hallway (not near the elevators where it’s convenient for the guest) got back to my room to find mold on the ice due to the ice machine not being cleaned I assume for several months…disgusting!!!!! I’m only a couple of hours I at this hotel. Looks like a call to the health department tomorrow since the guys response at the front desk was “eewwwww”. Do not come to this hotel is unhealthy!

I was nervous at first, but man, these people were nice. It was well cleaned. Outdated, but clean. I had the K Ste and it was very spacious with plent of seating and a table for a small group of travelers. My favorite thing about this motel was the water pressure!! There’s nothing more important than water pressure! :) Best on-the-road shower I have ever had. So this place gets 5 stars from me because they maintain a safe and clean environment for travelers. What more are we really asking for!? ;)

I have booked at this Hampton Inn once before. As was the case last time, the hotel was extremely clean, very quiet, and very convenient for travelers along I-70 like myself. There is some amount of noise from the interstate, though you can ask for a room on the other side of the hotel to help limit this. The staff were very friendly, professional, and responsive when I called or had questions. The breakfast was very well done. Even though they didn't have one or two items I would have liked, there were plenty of options to choose from. The staff member overseeing the breakfast area (who I recognized from my last visit) was very friendly and did an excellent job at keeping the area well stocked and clean. Overall, this hotel is clearly very well managed. I will continue to book here and would recommend it to anyone else planning to visit Columbia.

We stayed here one night and it's okay. First, it was clean. That's always the most important thing to me. The beds were pretty comfortable. The suite had enough room for us to spread out. We even got food from the Mexican place next door and had plenty of space and table area to eat in the room. We were exhausted from the drive and just didn't feel like eating at the actual restaurant. The three things that knocked the rating the most were the window, the desk partition, and the bathroom door. The desk partition was loose, I suppose so someone had shoved a piece of cardboard in the track to keep it from moving. However, it just rattled every time someone walked past it. So that was a little annoying, but nothing major. The next thing is the bathroom door. There is nothing physically wrong with it, but the design isn't great. It is frosted glass which looks fantastic. However, when you are up early for showers and everyone else is sleeping, it does nothing to block the light. Unfortunately, it is right across from the beds so once one of us was up, the rest of us in the beds were up. Our son stayed happily asleep on the pull out couch. Again, structurally, the door worked fine and it was aesthetically nice, but not a great choice. The worst thing was the window. It wasn't latched all the way and the locking mechanism was bent so there was no way for it to be latched all the way. So it was letting in cold air and noise from sirens going by all night, which wasn't pleasant. We did tell the desk representative when we checked out, just in case they didn't know about the above. Make sure to check for the sheet for the pull out if you are going to use it and check the number of towels because we didn't have the sheet or enough towels for 4 people. We just went to the desk and they got them for us, but just a heads up. I probably would give this 3.5 stars if I could do halfs on here, but I can't.

They say this is the biggest hotel in Columbia and they should surely add the best hotel in Columbia, too. It really is fabulous — starting with the Hilton VIP treatment from Dwight on the Front Desk who worked with us on our arrival time to get us the most perfect room. That was also thanks to Lois and Cynthia, with whom we corresponded in making our reservation weeks earlier. The room was the Parlor Suite, which was massive with a wet-bar, jacuzzi tub, separate shower, even an extra half-toilet. The windows do not open but the view from the 4th/top floor was breathtaking. Housekeeping could not have been friendlier, happy to provide you with whatever extras you needed. There was complimentary coffee in the lobby and the famous HGI breakfast is $15.95 per guest (Diamond members are given a $20 credit toward this). A very enjoyable stay — made memorable by Hilton hospitality experts like Dwight, Lois and Cynthia.

Not only did the hotel manage to get me a room last minute they did it with a smile! Most professional and upbeat experience I’ve had at a hotel. Rooms were clean and quiet, my kids had a blast at the pool and the staff went above and beyond at the buffet the next day. Would recommend to anyone and can not wait to come back.
