How can I summarize the wonderful experience at this hotel?! Well to begin, the valet staff is a great team of people. I was helped by Taylor, who had a great personality and was such a warm welcome for the weekend. The front desk was swift, kind, and accommodating, and they provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities! The rooms were clean… but if I must be honest, the hotel could benefit from a little updating here and there. I know it’s an expensive ask, but in order to stand out in today’s world, that could be a huge plus! Other than that, everything was super!

Obwohl ich schon über Trip.com bezahlt habe wurde mir das Zimmer nochmal vom hotel abgezogen und als ich ihnen erklärt e dass ich schon bezahlt hätte wurde mir gesagt das dies storniert wurde aber nächste tag habe ich wider eine Nachricht meiner Bank erhalten das mir das Zimmer eider verrechnet wurde also insgesamt musste ich das zimmer 3 mal zahlen. Ich würde nicht mehr Dort einchecken da es mit sehr vielen Umständen verbunden ist. Ab 09:00 früh wird es laut da das personal beim reinigen der zimmer laute Musik hört etwas nervig muss ich sagen.

We have stayed at this location before, and it was fine. We decided to stay here again as we were in Columbus for a show. Sadly, the Fairfield was not up to the standard of the last visit. Upon entering, there were three people in front of us checking in. No problem as to the wait time, however when it was our turn, there was no recognition of being a Marriott Gold member, nor was there even a welcome. I gave my name and she asked for and ID, gave us the key and that was it. Also, the desk clerk was wearing what appeared to be an Alaskan Airlines windbreaker and not in any type of Marriott apparel. No nametag. No thank you for staying with us. The room was fine although the hallways seemed dirty. Breakfast was the typical Fairfield and was well kept and clean. Very few guests were staying the night we were there. Main issue was the customer service although the individual working the desk in the morning was much more friendlier. Overall, it was not as good as the last visit.

We used reward points for this stay and it was a great value. The hotel was easily accessible off the interstate and was close to a mall; and a Costco was located across the street. We asked for a two queen bed suite and the room was outstanding. We had lots of room, a couch, and two flat screen televisions. There were plenty of plugs for our electronic devices and a Keurig coffee maker in the room. I would give this hotel a 6 plus if allowed.

PPengguna TetamuPerfect hotel for a weekend get away. Within walking distance to the nationwide arena, which is where we saw a concert at. It was nice not having to fight for parking! The weather was perfect so we were able to sit out that night by the fire pit and relax. We ordered food from the restaurant. An amazing burger! 10/10 recommend. I will say, the only negative was the AC wasn’t the best even with it turned down as low as it would go, it was still stuffy

PPengguna TetamuHandicap accessible room: A little disappointed: security latch was completely broken off; shower curtain was to short and water would splash out onto floor; shower floor around wall was old and brown looking from either age and/improper cleaning/ shower seat, when folded up was just dirty looking; overall, it is a little outdated and the room just didn’t feel or look clean.
Also, breakfast opens at 7:30 am! We needed to be on the road before breakfast is even an option! Not good for those who stay at this hotel for during the week and have time commitments! This was a big negative for us.

PPengguna TetamuArrived to my room and realized I didn't get the room I booked 5 months ago. I went to the front desk and only then was I told they were overbooked and the I could not have the 2 double bed room and could only get a room with a pullout. They could have/should have told me that at check in. Tara told me there was nothing they could do. Finally she told me that since I used a corporate rate they could do nothing about the rate (which is NOT true), but she could give me points towards a future Marriott stay, so I had no choice and apparently them overbooking was my problem. So I agreed and she asked me if we needed anything. I told her that since we now have a pullout I would like an extra blanket for the pullout which she said she would have delivered to the room. We left the hotel shortly thereafter to go to the concert. When I arrived back at 11:45pm, I found that not only was the blanket never delivered, but there were NO sheets for the pullout. I called the front desk. He told me that he could get the sheets and blanket, but I would have to come get them, and not to come for 15 minutes. Really? So, I went down and waited for someone to show up at the front desk. Finally a saw the gentlemen I spoke to sitting in a chair in the back room at a desk on his phone. I asked him if anyone was getting sheets for me. He told me he was just about to do that. Really??? So he went to get them. After about 5 minutes he returned. No blanket. I asked him where the blanket was. He said ”right here”. I said no, that is a mattress protector, not a blanket. He said ”oh, come with me and I'll get you one”. So on the way to the housekeeping room he said ”I only saw some old brown blanket, do you want that?” Really??? So he handed me the old brown blanket that I'm pretty sure was made of sandpaper, and I returned to my room. So this is the service you get at Marriott? I was quickly reminded why I almost exclusively stay at Hilton properties. Additionally, the HVAC in the rooms barely works. I had it set at 67 all night and it never cooled off. This huge hotel was overbooked, and they have one person on staff for the entire place. What a disappointment.

PPengguna TetamuWe stay at German Village Inn twice a year in the fall. We were just there, and as always we were treated with courtesy and kindness. Our room was clean and functional. The value proposition is good. We love the German Village area for the atmosphere and fun places that are in walking distance. Planks is a favorite restaurant/bar. The Thurman Coffee Shop is a great little breakfast place. We make the trip to Columbus for Buckeye Football. We Uber to The Shoe, and it all works well for us!

PPengguna TetamuI think I'm in here on and off for years. This has been a home away from home. I live in columbus ohio and I live out of my eighteen wheeler but when I do come home I stay here Is pet friendly they do charge a fee? They have refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. There's all kinds of stores around restaurants even a couple bars u can walk to them There's even a church I've never had a problem here and all the years. I've been coming here on and off. And the staff is very friendly
