I chose this venue for location and a good cooked breakfast. All this was achieved plus a good night`s sleep - but I had to request a room change as the heater was inoperate and it was unseasonably cold. The card locks were a nightmare; I was in an annexe which meant two doors to access via key card. The locks ( both of them) were temperamental to the point of sheer exasperation. How Lenny Henry ever got into his room is one of life`s mysteries! It would have been made easier id the manager Jake had actually apolgised on behalf of Premier Inn for these issues - but he chose not to. Why? The restaurant manager was wonderful by comparison, freindly, helpful and a real treat to meet.
