First impressions don't bode well, as most of the car-park is not tarmaced and so is uneven and full of potholes. It's also not marked out, except some spaces close to the main entrance. The Bistro food was delicious,but service was poor apart from one manager, who was really personable. The country club... awful! Dirty, in dire need of modernisation in the changing and shower areas. 2 of the soap dispensers in the showers were empty and a 3rd was broken. The pool itself is filthy, with there being dirt across all the ssteps. It needs a deep clean and renovated. For an alleged 4* hotel, it really needs to invest in its public areas and ensure staff are proactively friendly and helpful.
