Great old renovated boutique hotel. But hard to find even on bikes. Limited choice for dinner and expensive so ate out. Breakfast was included and good. Old hotel with lots of character and small rooms. had difficulty even getting into the shower. no baths. Lots of history around the area.

What a gorgeous hotel in a hidden gem of a town of Conversano. The atmosphere, service and the room was like experiencing something from the past. We would stay here a week or more next time. A very accommodating and helpful staff too. Restaurant could be better, however.

Lovely hotel in beautiful location. However, not suitable for anyone will mobility problems. Parking located 400m from hotel and nobody mentioned this when booking.
Staff not very friendly or motivated. I presume this a reflection of the management and their policies.

Never take room 111. Is located on the first floor next to the elevator. The whole night and day some kind of machine/engine is starting and stopping EVERY minute of the hour. So during the night you can barely sleep. Room 111 has a lower level sleeping room. In the dark you don’t see/expect this. Great risk you fall over on the floor. The room is located near an alley with Italians walking through. We all know: Italians talk loud!! Then somewhere in the night it is necessary to ride the container with glass through the medieval alley and empty it!!! Why!?!? And this was not the only container. The building is medieval so a lot of noises from the room above via the ceiling. Overall a bad experience without any sleep of this stay!!!!

Loved my stay at this beautiful hotel. Clean and spacious room. Great breakfast which included freshly squeezed orange juice, served at the cute restaurant on the rooftop. Friendly and attentive staff. Thank you

Corte altavilla is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Conversano( BA). A perfect mix of history and relaxation. They have the most friendly staff and delicious food. My fiancé and I stayed at one of their most ancient room and hit their spa which they gave us the best massage and body scrub. Highly recommended and we definitely will come back.

This little gem of a hotel nestles in a small ancient alleyway off the square outside the church. The rooms were lovely and comfy and it's ideally situated to explore the ancient town. What really sets this hotel up for a 5 star rating is the friendyness and helpfulness of the staff. The food in the restaurant is top quality as you might expect in Puglia, but the restaurant staff were super helpful even when faced with our group of 15!! Special thanks to Angela who arranged our tour, day visits and transport. A lovely holiday experience. Thank you... we will return!!!
