This hotel was absolutely filthy. The lobby, elevators, floors are all dirty. I looked around my room and headed to the lobby to check out. I was forced to check into a new hotel. The incidentals charge of $100.00 is ridiculous, and 5-10 days for refund??? The room was filled with an item list for stolen objects; this is an issue at this hotel (see above note on incidentals fee). This hotel deals with a pretty low level of clientele, and I resent the assumption that I fall into that category. I don't expect a wide range of services or catering to needs on one-night travel stops, but cleanliness is a bare minimum must. This hotel fails miserably in that area (and all others).
La Quinta should be embarrassed by this hotel, unless this is their standard. I have never stayed in a Laquinta, and in the future, I never will. ******* should drop this hotel from their listing.
All that said, the clerk was very embarrassed and went out of her way to help with checkout and provide information regarding possible refunds. Sadly, I think she has been in this situation before.
