We should have just passed through Chicago on a trip home across the country. Instead, we hit bad weather and ended up stranded when our airline cancelled flights and had no empty seats until 2 days later. By the time we arrived at O'Hare and got through the long lines at the airline counters trying to get new flights home, every hotel close by was booked up. We found availability at the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Glenview/Northbrook and were so grateful. When we arrived around midnight local time, we had a clean, large room ready for our family of 4 - a bathroom, ”living” room with pullout sofa, and a bedroom with 2 beds. By the time we woke up the next morning, breakfast hours had ended. We were easily able to walk to Dunkin' diagonally across the street. Since we didn't have a vehicle, we then used Lyft and the L to travel downtown to show our kids a few sights. Upon our return to the hotel, they were thrilled with the indoor pool and I was grateful to find the laundry room next to it empty as we were desperately in need of clean clothes. The laundry room has a single washer and dryer. Change can be made at the front desk if you need it. The next day we used Lyft again to get us back to O'Hare so we could finally return home. While this location won't be convenient for the traveler who wants easier access to public transportation, it wasn't too far from the airport and was clean & quiet. We were grateful and enjoyed our stay even if it was very last minute and unexpected.

酒店靠近市中心位置，出入挺方便的，周邊很多著名餐廳，酒店環境衛生蠻不錯，但房價空間太小，很有壓迫感的感覺，隔音很差清晰聽到走廊的聲音和外面馬路上的警車經過聲音，估計下次不會入住，本人還是喜歡靠近湖邊的酒店。安全係數高點。

Very clean hotel in a great location with reasonable price. Many restaurants in area even across the street within walking distance. Hotel breakfast was not offered till 6:30am so it was later than we wanted for our early work start. Also breakfast items were not always all ready when breakfast started.

The room is a bit dated but the location is great, located close to the big outlet mall that we enjoyed. The shuttle to and from airport is on time and the drive is helpful.

I don't know what was better... the comfort of my bed or the people who work at the Hampton Inn & Suites located in Skokie, IL! The staff was so lovely. Jose, Anesa, Rebecca, Jackie and Tracey, and all the staff couldn't have been kinder and more eager to help make my stay excellent! I had an injury and needed a wheelchair and some special care and attention and the staff was more than happy to help me out. They made a special point to make sure I was taken care of and to ask if I needed anything. They were concerned that I had everything that I needed and to make my experience as great as it could be. When booking my room, I was a bit nervous that I would have difficulty getting around but the staff at this hotel were so generous in offering to help me that I was able to relax a bit more and not worry about getting around. I am truly so grateful for that and for all the concern and assistance that they gave to me. As for the quality of the room, the beds and room were super comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I didn't want to get out of it! The other guests were respectful. The room was clean. The breakfast was pretty good. Nothing super elaborate or fancy, but for the hotel's price point, it was a more than good enough breakfast. As for the price, I felt it was a very fair price for the level of service and product delivered. It's not a super high end hotel with gourmet room service, excellent views, elaborate breakfast buffet spread and concierge service, but the quality of accommodations, comfort-level and customer service is definitely solid and very good, especially for the price. I'd highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and clean stay, with great customer service for a good and fair price.

I needed to stay somewhere overnight near Midway and this hotel fit the requirements. There is free 24 hour Midway airport shuttle service which is what I needed as I had an early flight out. The front desk clerk was very patient and hospitable and knew how to set expectations, which was fantastic for me after 10 hours on a plane, and getting into Midway very late at night. The night shuttle driver was also quite nice. I had a hard time understanding him, partially because he was using a face mask and partially because I was tired and sleep deprived and have bad hearing. I had a great night's sleep. I didn't stay long enough to figure out what, if any, they had for breakfast. I did use the free internet while I was here. There were only a few odd things. 1. When I walked into the room, it had an odd smell. I believe it came from the slightly moist carpet. In about 5 minutes, my nose got used to it and I didn't notice the smell the rest of my stay. 2. The desk had no electrical outlets on it. There was one electrical outlet on the wall (thankfully I had brought my own power *****) near the desk. On the desk was something that looked like outlets of some type, however I did not recognize what it could be used for. That meant that all my electronics were plugged into the 4 outlets, 2 on each of the bedside lamps, plus the power *****. 3. There was a microwave, however, no refrigerator. I didn't need one so it wasn't an issue. There was space in the area of the microwave where one would have the refrigerator. 4. The water for my shower at 3:45 am, never got truly hot. It was warm and probably adequate for babies and the elderly. However it was not hot enough for a sleep deprived individual who likes hot showers. On the other hand, it was warm enough for my shower. I just couldn't warm up, during the shower. 5. The area by the bathroom sink was quite small. It wasn't a real issue since I could place my things on the table in front of the microwave, which was just behind me as I was facing the sink. 6. I couldn't figure out how to change the temperature of the room. The air conditioner was blowing cool air. As long as I was covered at night, I was okay. However, I wanted the room to be warmer, and the lack of a hot shower, made the room even colder to me. Would I stay here again? Probably only as a 1 night stay. I've stayed at other Fairfield Inns that were in much better condition. However, the front desk clerk and the availability of the 24 hour shuttle service to/from the airport, makes it highly likely that I'll stay here again for a 1 night stay. This was a last minute booking so I paid a lot for this one night stay. They got me.

Southwest airlines goy us in late and then had to sit on the tarmac for 30 minutes as a primer. Got to the hotel and couldn't find parking, only to find out that SW Airlines book all the rooms for distressed passengers without a connecting flight. Finally found a spot next to an SUV where a guy was getting behind the wheel holding a half empty bottle of Chivas Regal I believe. Of course it could have been for the two scantily dressed women who also got into the car after he pulled out. Got to the front desk where another couple of ”interesting” guests were checking in and got our room keys only to find that the two rooms we booked were not ajoining as requested so we went back to the front desk. The gentleman at the front turned to a lady and asked for help. She tried to look for ajoining rooms and this is when we found out about the fully booked hotel. When I asked her to double check she was obviously disgruntled and went to the back office. Out comes another shorter woman without a smile to let us know there are no ajoining rooms left and that our request for ajoining rooms that we made weeks ago online was not able to be fulfilled and was only a request that Marriott does not guarentee, so much for Titanium Level privilages!!! Not even a bottle of water... When we called in the morning to see if maybe we could get complimentry breakfast for the inconvenience, they suggested that they only sell breakfast and we are welcome to purchase it, but they will not be giving us anything for our troubles. So down we went to get breakfast only to be met with the farmstand breakfast bowl and breakfasr burrito were not available. Sure, so I order eggs your way with a choice of meat and either potatoes or tomatos, only to find out that there are no tomatos when I ordered it my ”my way”. When I went to pay with my debit card the girl at the register said, ”sorry that machine doesn't work”, you will have to swipe. The bagels came out hard and the chef decided to put black pepper over everything on my plate, eggs, bacon, potatos and toast. At least the coffee was okay and the girl atvthe counter gave us a couple of bottles of water on the house. The room was sparsely decorated and looked like it had not been upgraded since the 80's. The furniture was worn, dirty and the pillows left my wife and I with stiff necks. The beds were barely double instead of queen, lucky we are not large people. One of the outlets by the bed did not work. The TV was small and sat on the top of the chest instead of mounted on the wall. The bathrooms were clean, so there was that. Overall our stay was disappointing and even a bit uncomfortable. We will not be staying here again and will be suggesting to Marriott that they need to check the standards of this location which were poor in customer service, cleanliness, convenience and atmosphere. I gave a star for the clean sheets and clean bathroom, but everything else... sorry that doesn't work.
