On the whole this hotel was quite good, comfortable beds, amazing sun sets. Drinks were pretty good. My moans are the canteen (don't think I would call it a restaurant don't feel the need to dress up), the first few days we were there, the food was tepid at best, the chips were cold and that was all of us saying it and we are not fussy eaters. We went to eat at different times each day thinking it might have improved matters, but it was the same, cold. There was no Jet2 rep to complain to so we went to reception to complain and the response was that they was well aware of this situation and that apparently the restaurant will be getting an upgrade next year. Well what can you say, thanks for nothing. Towards the end of our stay it was school holidays and it got a lot more busy and the food didn't seem as bad or as cold, never piping hot, also the entertainment, unless you have very young kids that like to run around, I would say that it was very poor. The staff were all very friendly. I made a complaint to Jet2 who said that they make checks, and I informed them that they should make unannounced checks in all of their hotels and this would make a true representation of all of their hotels. When Jet2 come to do their checks the hotel are well aware and make the hotel the best it can be, this is not a true representation.
