Hotel berhampiran Shelby Farms Greenline Trailhead at Cordova Train Station, Cordova

I was having a terrible trip to Memphis. Rental car broke down. Missed my first day of work. I needed a room for the night and the ladies Iris and Shelia treated me like family. Very kind and professional. Room was clean and comfortable. I will return and recommend this location to all my friends and family.

Pada mulanya saya fikir hotel ini akan menjadi hotel yang bagus, sehingga saya dikenakan bayaran dua kali ganda & mendapat sikap yang benar-benar tidak profesional yang diberikan kepada saya sekali bertanya di meja depan tentang bayaran dua kali ganda. Tidak akan pergi ke sini lagi.

Biliknya bagus dan bersih. Saya suka bahawa mereka mempunyai sarapan pagi untuk pergi kerana mereka tidak dapat melakukan bufet untuk COVID-19!

This hotel is ok. It's convenient to the interstate, shopping, and restaurants and it was quiet, but almost everything else is just mediocre: staff, cleanliness, breakfast. Those things really didn't stand out as bad or good. I did like the fact that the room was an actual suite - with a door that separates the beds from the couch area vs. one of those useless half walls you sometimes get when a room is described as a suite. Every evening of our stay, when we got back to the hotel, there were 1-2 people outside smoking ****. At least we didn't smell it inside like some other reviewers here. I'm almost certain it's not legal in TN, but if you're going to do it, at least try and get edibles so you can consume it inside and nobody has to smell it across a whole parking lot. What's really bad here is the internet. It's AWFUL. I was in town with my fiance for a family function and I brought some work with me, needing to complete it our first night there. I couldn't do it because of how bad the internet was. It was a neverending cycle of buffering and then getting kicked off. I ended up taking my laptop to my fiance's relative's house and finishing my work up the day of the party. I don't expect amazingly fast internet in any hotel but this was probably the worst I've ever experienced. The pitiful internet is why I'm giving an overall rating of ”poor” here. It really put a negative vibe on our stay. What should have taken 1 to 1 1/2 hours to do ended up being straight up impossible. I had to let my boss know that what he was expecting was going to be a day late and then it took time away from family the following day. It's 2022 - it's past time to look into getting a better internet connection for your guests.

Stay was wonderful & staff was nice & friendly. The night agent was very helpful. My check in was late & the restaurant forgot my utensils. The agent supplied all of my needs to have a pleasurable stay.

The young man who checked us in was very nice. The room was strange -- dated, with some of the weirdest furniture I have ever seen in a hotel. It was like we were in Pennsylvania Dutch country instead of Memphis. The fabric headboard had big holes in it with the foam rubber underneath poking out. Towels had strings hanging off and my washcloth had a hole in it. The room smelled odd; this property has some age on it and although some improvements were made at some point, it wasn't enough and it's now too worn. The bed was comfortable enough. The internet did not work and when I complained to the front desk, the person who answered (NOT the nice guy who checked us in) blamed it on our devices. He said he was surfing the web just fine and that no one else had complained. He said I'd have to call another number, which I did, and that turned out to be an internet help desk for IHG hotels. The young man who answered was extremely nice and said that absolutely there was no problem with our devices, but rather with the property's internet. He worked on it for 45 minutes while I was on the phone. That was not how I wanted to spend my evening after traveling all day. He never was able to get the internet to work for us so we ended up using our personal hotspots which we could have done to begin with, but in this day and age there is no reason for the internet not to work seamlessly in a $150 a night hotel room. Breakfast the next morning was adequate. the only bright spot was a young lady named Robin, in housekeeping, who was so sweet and nice to us when we went back to our room following breakfast, to pack up and leave. I was so impressed with her that I gave her a tip and thanked her for her great attitude. We had a reservation to stay at this property the following week on our way back home, but I promptly canceled it and booked a room at the La Quinta down the street. It was wonderful. Avoid this Holiday Inn at all costs; for the most part they are phoning it in.

I wasn’t going to fill this review out but it won’t let me submit a survey unless I do. soo here you go. The room was absolutely filthy with sticky residue on the ottoman, table and counters. There were chips and other crumbs all over the couch and carpets. The big issue is not the crumbs but the fact that no one sanitized the room for Covid as the brand claims sets them aside in the industry. I felt at risk for Covid while staying here. Overall the hotel is remodeled and the staff I interacted with were outstanding. Just be prepared to clean their room for them. Again, I did not want to give a public review but it is required
