Hotel berhampiran Mirador de las Camaretas, Cortes de la Frontera

En los cinco días de estancia en el hotel hemos recibido y trato espectacular por parte de todos, muy limpio , a pesar de estar en las afueras del pueblo es una ventaja por la tranquilidad que se vive tanto en su habitaciones para descansar como en su terraza y el servicio de comidas un diez , nos hemos sentido como en casa. Gracias a la familia los Mellis por estos días tan bonitos que hemos podido disfrutar de Ubrique

Stayed for four nights with my husband in June as part of my 50th birthday celebrations! Lovely hotel; great location with a view across to Grazalema. We took a walk into Grazalema. There’s not a lot of shade on the walk but it was well worth it. Take a left by the pool and right by the cow (yes cow!). When you get to the main road just go across and slightly to the right to reach Grazalema by the Roman road. It’s a lovely place to wander and get a drink. Couldn’t face the walk back though and got a taxi. The pool was very welcoming on our return. Short drive to Ronda so this made a very good base. We ate off the menu a couple of times - burger, healthy burger and pizza - which was great, but the breakfast and evening buffets were superb and well worth it.

Such a lovely hotel great views very comfortable rooms and it’s so authentic amazing value. The swimming pool is lovely and peaceful and has great views of the mountains. We did not eat at hotel apart from breakfast but it is a short walk into village where there are some lovely tapas bars and restaurants.

I was staying with my family for 3 days. I was impressed with the nature that you can find there, it seems like the place has so many precious corners that every time we were walking around was seeing something new. All the stuff, from the check in till check out, was very qualified and helpful. We got the recommendations what to visit in Ronda and where to stop for a tapas. As well want to add that the restaurant in the hotel is very good, so we did not have a need to look for the place where to eat in Ronda. The wines they offer are all from Ronda and most of the products as well from the area. Highly recommended. The only thing the connection is not very good in there, but it is normal as the hotel is in the middle of the countryside. We will definitely come back soon!

This is not a «Very good»-rated hotel that you might rate the expensive Hilton, Radisson etc. Actually, outside on the wall you can see that the Colon has one star and booking is very budged friendly in comparison. But don't get fooled by this, read my review and everyone elses reviews. When entering, you are greeted by the lovely Ana in the reception, a very warm and personalized welcome. The reception area is small, but very charming. We got a room in the second floor. The room is spacious enough and you’ve got everything you need. It is very clean and the bed is huge and comfy. The bathroom is made up with a greeting on the mirror and lollipops. Very charming! There is a bath tub and very comfy towels. In the room are a good functioning air con and a fridge which are very useful for us Norwegians. The breakfast is included and you eat in the next door cafe. You get your orange juice, water upon request, coffee, egg and bread brought to your table where there are butter and jam also. While eating, you could get accopanied by locals as this is actually an ordinary cafe. This is very charming. The location is superb and you dont notice traffic outside and are away from the busy tourist streets. Love that! Ana gave us a map and you have all the ”must see” within a short walking distance, under 1 km to the famous bridge and the old town. The park located just across the road is gorgeous and we advice you to walk thru it while going to the sightseeing areas. This is not an industrial hotel, but a charming and family driven hotel with charm. The staff are so, so nice! It has everything you need, including the location. If you arrive by car, the Colon can get you parking for €12 a day. We paid €22 at a public parking nearby for under 24 hours which included a couple of hours free parking during the night.

Appartement génial tout confort ainsi que la terrasse une vue superbe tout équipé climatisation fonctionne très bien. Points négatifs restaurant très bruyant le bruit des chaises au sol est insupportable le matin il faut faire la queue pour prendre son petit déjeuner. Bouteille d eau payante à 3 euros le soir de l arnaque à la fin nous prenions nos bouteilles. Secouriste de la piscine malpolie ne fait pas du tout son travail mis à part être au téléphone s est permise de jeter nos serviettes par terre. Les piscines sont top mais à peine 5 transats autour de la piscine très peu de places à l ombre les clients se mettaient sur les marches autour de la piscine donc nous avons arrêter d y aller. Personnel de l accueil qui s est permise de nous téléphone pour nous convoquer à 16 h sur un air très hautain lorsque nous nous sommes rendus il était 15 h celle ci a refusé de nous préciser quel était l objet de la ” convocation” et qu il fallait attendre sa manager qui n était pas disponible avant 16 h ceux à quoi j ai répondu qu il n etait pas question que je revienne dans une heure que j avais autre chose à faire et qu ils n avaient pas intérêt à me téléphoner de nouveau.. bref c était assez étrange Si non pour le reste l endroit était très agréable mais une voiture est nécessaire pour se déplacer les places de parking le long de la résidence est limité l hôtel propose un parking payant à 8 euros par jour bonjour les manœuvres pour y accéder...
