Hotel berhampiran Dolphin Embassy, Costa Adeje

Absolutely amazing. The architecture was beautiful and modern with exotic plants and open spaces. Staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Large swimming pool with bridges to lead to an island in the middle of the pool (very deep!). Rooms were clean and well appointed - enormous bed but made it feel a bit cramped. Entertainment was provided by singers performing every night (til 11pm so hard to sleep before then if room above). Nice child’s room with a trampoline, table football and air hockey. Upgraded to the preferred club option which gives access to a lounge with free drinks and snacks from 1.30-7pm which we used instead of lunch! Good breakfast buffet. Only used the evening buffet once, was reasonable but not amazing. Some of the other onsite restaurants didn’t appear to have been open all week. The position was outstanding as many good restaurants were nearby and beaches with water sports only down the road. 10/10 would definitely recommend and visit again!

My general impressions of the Iberostar Bouganville Playa are, that whilst nice enough, the fact I have stayed in similar sized hotels in the same price bracket and some of these have been much better, then I would not probably not stay here again. Many of the problems I encountered have been highlighted by others, such as the fact you get dropped off at the local bus stop, rather than the hotel, have been discussed by others, so I won’t go into detail. People have complained about the wait for the lifts. Yes, this is a problem, four lifts serving 14 floors and 481 rooms. I think part of the problem is the control, the system seems to sends you a lift going in your direction but stopping at every floor, so it is full when it arrives, rather than sending one that is parked only one floor away and doing nothing. For those thinking of hiring a car and not familiar with the area. Free street parking, both around the hotel and also when out and about seems very thin on the ground. Yes, in the towns, there are spaces, but these always are taken. The hotel, I believe charges 10.00€ per night and the car park is not huge. We stayed in the star prestige area which has the advantage of being allocated a room on the upper floors. We were not troubled by any outside noise, just the odd bits of noise from other guests coming back after a night out ! The star prestige areas were very nice, with extras ranging from the cushions on the sunbeds, through to the air conditioned lounge area where you can get drinks and snacks. There are two star prestige sunbathing areas, one on the roof and the other behind the restaurant area, this one having two levels. Both are equipped with fridges containing complementary soft drinks, fizz and beers. One minor complaint was the age old problem of towel reserving of sunbeds. A daily occurnace of towels on beds first thing but the owners not appearing until after lunch. Getting a good spot is not always possible. Whilst the hotel doesn’t seem to care, a few signs might help. Hotel’s Plus’s Good location for local bars, restaurants and shops Bus stop close by. Wifi generally was very good Lots of hot water Unlike a lot of other hotels, there was space in the bathroom to put your bits and pieces. Hotel Minus’s Biggest minus from my point of view was the food. Breakfast was OK, not the best, not the worst, but OK for the number of people they are obviously catering for. Evening meals were less impressive, the biggest problem was that not only was most of the food itself barely lukewarm, the plates were stone cold. Also, the little signs telling you what the dishes were on occasions were obviously inaccurate, but in many cases, missing. Whilst not a problem for me, if you had an allergy, or could not eat certain foods, you really would be struggling. If you are not all inclusive, you have to pay for all drinks with your meals. They even charge 2.70€ for tap water and no, you cannot fill your bottle from the water fountain

Beautiful hotel with wonderful facilities and services including private pools with plenty of sunbeds, a gym, spa, art exhibition room, games room with pool tables and football tables and TVs showing live sports matches. There are also organised daytime activities and evening entertainment. I loved the neutral and mint earth tone colourway theme throughout the hotel which is very calming and relaxing. I also respect the hotel's commitment to sustainability by installing water filleting machines to reuse bottles and refillable soap and shampoo dispensers. My room was warm, cozy and clean with a nice balcony view and a variety of tv channel and movie selections including Netflix. The cleaning lady was kind to remake my bed from two twin beds into a large double bed with beautiful flower petal decorations and chocolate truffle treats which were delicious and I appreciated the additional touches. The breakfast was delicious ans very filling, presented in a buffet style with so much variety and choice of different stations within the dining room (cereal and granola; fruit, salad and juice bar; toast and baguette station; pattessarie station; hot English breakfast station with a section dedicated to different preparations of eggs). Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location with stunning sea and mountain hill views and has direct access to Torviscas Beach which is less than a 3-minute walk. There are also many local shops, bars and restaurants including a mcdonalds by the beach. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely revisit in the future!

Great location, 10 minutes walk down to the beach. There are 2 pools, one heated and always sun beds available. Did hear they had a booking system for these but we never had to. Bars, restaurants and a shop on the complex which was useful. The only issue was they had live music on from 4pm every day and it seemed unnecessarily loud. It didn’t bother us too much but can imagine it would be a nightmare if you had a balcony closer to the bars. Apartment was great, balcony overlooking the pool and very well equipped. The staff left a bottle of wine for my partners 30th while we were there which was a nice touch. Would stay again, but would definitely recommend emailing ahead and asking for a room away from the bars.

This is my 2nd time at Ramada Costa Adeje this year, having previously stayed in June. I arrived and was checked in by a lovely friendly lady who recognised me from previous visits, and was given the key to my room. I was allocated a room in Block D on the 3rd floor (One bedroom, ocean view) and upon entering I could tell I was treated to a beautiful and well equipped room indeed. The kitchen area was large, clean, spacious and had a fridge freezer, a dishwasher (well pleased!), oven, microwave and all the pots, pans, plates, bowls and lots more that I could ever need. In the living area was the usual comfy sofa, chair and it does appear that a brand new TV has been placed in to this room which is a massive upgrade from previous rooms I've been in. The bedroom was a good size and I forgot just how comfortable the beds here are. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space for all my things. I do think it's time to upgrade the bed-side drawers and dressing area cabinets, but they served their purpose well. In the bathroom there was a washing machine (thank you very much!) as well as a very large bath/shower, all very clean. Of course the best part is the balcony. The perfect size and kitted out with table & chairs, two sunbeds and a brolly. The view of the pool, ocean and mountains, especially at sunset, is just unbeatable. Over in the main pool area are two restaurants, Zacary's and Paradise Pool Bar. I didn't use Zacary's this time round, but yet again a big thank you to the amazing ladies at Paradise Pool Bar for their hospitality. Getting sunbeds on this occasion was fine however I noticed a huge difference in terms of sunbed reserving, with some very eager guests placing towels on before 7am which did make me chuckle... The main pool area consists of the large pool, children's pool and a jacuzzi, all very clean. What was even better on this particular visit is that the miserable soul destroying lifeguard (regular visitors and the hotel management will know exactly who I'm on about!) was off for the entire duration of my stay, so the vibes at the main pool were amazing all week! Ramada management take note of that! Bus route 424 stops out on the main road and runs around every hour to El Duque or Los Cristianos via Siam Park/Mall & Las Americas. If you can't bare the thought of all the hills/terrain then the lovely receptionists can book taxi's for you. Local shops are close by. All in all it has been a wonderful holiday. One more full day to go and then back to reality, but a massive thank you to all the staff on-resort who all do a fantastic job. I look forward to coming back again next year.

This was our 7th stay at the Gran Tacande over Christmas and New Year and have generally enjoyed our break. I do agree with previous comment about jack hammers / noise coming from their new restaurant refurbishment though....we ended up going to the beach for the last week. My issue is we booked again for this Christmas and on arriving back thought we would try and book 1 extra night. The cost for this one extra night is 735.08 Euros??? (one room for Jan 4th). This is totally outrageous when considering this years prices are between 30-40% more expensive than last year. Hotel is in a great location / some staff are great...some clearly do not want to be there and not happy with the management...but 735 Euros for one extra night is making us think twice about revisiting. Advice would be to look around.....there are other / equally as good hotels in Adeje which offer better value for money based on the cost of 1 extra night.

Once again an amazing stay at the El Mirador. Without exception the staff are super friendly & attentive and the hotel and facilities excellent. Our third visit as a group of friends and we can’t fault the hotel, we stepped inside and felt like we had come home given such the warm welcome! Thanks in particular to Carla-but every colleague we encountered on this occasion, & on all of our previous trips, have been exceptional. The location is perfect and facilities inside and out beautifully maintained. We’ve used the gym (what a view!!), enjoyed the bar and restaurant and spent our days mainly lazing by the pool which had great service. We’ve booked again for next year already & cannot wait!

This hotel was a complete disappointment to us. Having been to Tenerife numerous times and stayed in a large amount of 5* hotels there, we were hoping this one would be the cherry on the cake. How wrong we were. For what we paid, it was certainly a case of”fur coat and no knickers”: Cons: upon arrival 9pm-the checkin was ridiculously slow, despite the fact there was only 1 other couple there. Information was lacking and a map given to us was most un helpful. The walk to the room was like a marathon and was something that eventually started to wear on us throughout the week. The walk to get to a pool proved arduous.yes you can get a buggy, but that can take up to 15 mins to arrive. The room was very dated. Furniture basic. The beds kept separating from the wall, which meant you could wake up with your pillows in a gap between the headboard and the mattress. No USB by the bed and only 1 plug socket, which had a lamp plugged into it so you have to pull the side table out to access the plug every day after the maids had been. There is no where to hang swimming costumes on the balcony so we ended up putting them over chairs. The breakfast area is painful. The egg station is painfully slow and the chef certainly doesn’t understand the concept of multi tasking. By the time you get your eggs, your toast is cold as it’s at the other end of the room. We waited over 25 minutes for someone to bring tea/coffee before I had to ask for some. I certainly don’t expect to get up and put towels down in a 5* resort, but unfortunately if you don’t do that -you didn’t get a bed. We also felt that the pools were very cold and not especially clean, but that could be the rocks that they are formed around causing this. Pros: the staff in general were very helpful and generally happy. Although the hotel is in URGENT need of a refurb, the cleaners do an amazing job and the ladies who cleaned our room were the best. I e stayed at places for half the price that were so much better so we were left feeling very disappointed.

A fantastic hotel, feels like in the Caribbean, spent one night in a “villa” with private jacuzzi- absolutely wonderful, especially with a sunset view. A good food in the pool bar. The only issues - only one small pool with heated water and spa was for an extra charge (and was booked up)

The negatives definitely outweigh the positivies with this hotel but nonetheless , for a fair review: Pros: - the breakfast is varied and very good quality, you have plenty of vegetarian options , variety of fruit, pastries, fish, cheese etc. even alcoholic drinks such as Cava -the room is modern and spacious. we had a garden view and we enjoyed the view from the terrace. The turn down service is also nice. - there is live music every night in the lounge Cons: - very noisy hotel, both around the pool area as well as at night on the hotel's corridors, that is due to several big groups of tourist groups (20+ people, mainly British, with teenagers running around and the hotel is very ok with this as they are likely coming on repeat visits every year due to travel agency recommendations (this is one of the hotels that serves kosher food). Therefore if you're looking for relaxation time as a couple with no kids, this is not the place for you. - food at Seen restaurant is not particularly good, we tried the black ink rice and we could not finish the meal, it was way too heavy and garlicky -the pools are not well heated, compared to other hotels we stayed at (incl in Tenerife). Though there are several pools you can choose from, there is really only 1 jacuzzi type (so very small) that is actually properly heated, which means that everyone goes to that pool, it becomes super crowded with kids playing ball games and the other pools remain completely empty the whole day. I have never seen jacuzzi type pools being used for ball games in other hotels, so this is a first and again, staff is not restricting this at all.
