The hotel and breakfast is ok, but they don’t clean neither change the towels everyday

Lovely quiet location Supermarket 5 mins walk away Staff very friendly and helpful Super clean everywhere November was fine to keep bedroom window open for air but not sure I would have coped in summer without air con Beds very comfortable and best shower ever! Yes it’s pretty basic and tired here and there but functional and clean I did ask for more coat hangers and I suggest bringing a mug for your morning cuppa ( or it’s the usual small cup size and one of them doesn’t cut it for me in the morning!) Costa Teguise is awash with great restaurants- Mar Azul and Mi Piaci are close by as great options Taxi from bastian area to hotel €4 and you’ll see green lights on the plentiful taxis Jablillo beach is the best for snorkelling and lovely cove area for swimming so worth the 30 min walk to get there Took a bus one day €3 single to peurto del carmen and it went through Arrecife and a lot of people were heading to a shopping mall so an option for a rainy day! The journey to pdel carmen was about 50 mins and a very busy bus, we walked to the old town had lunch then the bus back was the “Vulcan stop” outside a souvenir shop … it’s a one way bus system so the bus going back isn’t just across the road but plenty of people to ask and a handy information point along the ***** area too Costa Teguise is beautiful, laid back and my favourite place in the canaries so far :)

We arrived (27 Oct - 4 Nov) at the apartments at around 9:40pm after a good flight via Jet2. The transfer was the quickest I have ever experienced. The driver seemed to know whose cases were whose and what hotel you were staying in, got off, cases were there waiting and then he was gone, stopping for literally a minute then off he went. The whole transfer was about 20-25 mins. The Hotel:- It's a bit out of the way of the main Square, this is about a 15 min walk. (taxi 4 euro) The fact its out of the way of the noise is a real bonus. Once you're in and settled, there is a bar right next door to it (Hammonds). This was great as we arrived later in the night, and it was great to buy a good pizza and some drinks without having to explore in the dark. The fact that it's adults only is a big bonus as it is very tranquille. The hotel is split into two parts, both equally as nice, however the Serenity side has more benefits. I stayed on the serenity side in a two bed apartment with my partner and adult daughter. The apartment was surprisingly modern and very clean. Bedrooms had great space with a very, very comfortable bed (bliss) there was more than enough space for your clothing with around 10 hangers for clothes and both had opening windows. It doenst have aircon but you can open the back bedroom windows and the patio doors...very cooling! The Kitchen was very well equipped for self catering, with Kettle, toaster, coffee maker and all the pans and utensils needed. The hob is electric, a touch sensitive hob that did need a little working out. (maybe a note in the room print-off, in the rules and guidance to help) A good sized fridge with an ice-cooler. The maid washed any dishes that were left on cleaning days which was a great touch- thank you! Cleaning was every other day in the Serenity side). The Pool:- beds are all chained up until 10, unsure what this actually achieves. The hooded Lifeguard (cool weather) opened the bed chains at 10:00am and to be honest it wasn't ‘a total free for all’ and no one was fighting for beds; this was actually quite civilised and everyone respected everyone, which was great to see. Throughout my stay everyone remained nice and respected each other, and those leaving the pool took their towels with them, not once did I see empty beds with towels on for a considerable length of time. There were always beds, so dont worry about that! The pool Hmmm…very much a bone of contention here! Is it heated? (apparently) it's been documented by a rep on one of the Manager post replies… that it is 25C. I did laugh, as people at our hotel were at the beach and claimed the Sea was warmer than the pool - I have to agree with that! To the manager:- a simple solution would be to turn the heat up to 28-30C, that way, your holiday guests would feel the benefit of a heated pool! Because it is obviously not warm enough! The Balcony, ours, was not that big but enough to fit the 3 of us on. With a retractable clothes airer on the wall
