Hotel berhampiran Centro Historico de Cusco, Cuzco

Incredible, absolutely wonderful experience. Words cannot express my gratitude towards Giara,Walter and all the wonderful stop at Katharine Apt Hotel for taking such good care of me. First of all the location is very close to the airport, a nine dollar taxi ride. It is perfectly located on the main street close to everything at walking distance. Major grocery stores 11 minutes away main Plaza 10 minutes away, walking, Mercado San Pedro 15 min walking. My check in experience was a breeze. I just notified the business right next door, Peru, rail office who got Giara who is a sweet, adorable person. Right away I knew I was in good hands. She showed me my apartment which was apartment number nine. I had two beds and they were so clean. Pillows and sheets smelled impeccably clean. The place was beautiful. I had a kitchenette with a microwave and stove top. I had limited kitchen equipment, but I asked Giara to provide me with more things and she was helpful. I had piping hot water, toilet paper, and even a wonderful kettle to boil my tea. They provide you with a breakfast menu and every morning I texted her on WhatsApp to tell her what I wanted for breakfast. They had good options. It was so nice to have someone make breakfast for you. She was so sweet what really impressed me however, was for the first day I arrived in Peru I had a severe case of altitude sickness. It was so bad I seriously thought I was gonna die. I wasn’t able to walk get up or do anything so Giara called the doctor to come and visit me. Her partner Walter went to the drugstore and got me an oxygen tank and some altitude sickness pills. The doctors visit and the pills cost me $70. The doctor also gave me pills included in all this price incredible within two days I was all better and able to go to Machu Picchu. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them because I am a solo traveler. There is nothing more scary than getting sick when you’re in a foreign country thank you Giara, Walter, and all the staff at Katharine apt hotel. I will be back, and I will always stay here. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cusco. The price is incredible, the staff go above and beyond for you, and if it rains, they even provide umbrellas! What more can you ask for? I am so grateful I stayed here. ❤️

The website pictures are misleading and look much nicer than it is - the room images are bright and look very hotel-like, but my room was a lot darker. It’s much more of a hostel. For 100 USD a night (without breakfast) it’s a lot, especially for a hostel. I had an early start for Machu Picchu (as I expect most guests do staying here) and yet there were some very loud banging and renovation works on my floor until 9pm and then I didn’t get to sleep until 1am due to other loud clearing up noises downstairs plus loud talking. I messaged reception at this time and they said they were asking them to quieten down. I’d booked to come back here a couple of days after my hike - if I hadn’t pre paid I would’ve definitely gone somewhere else. That said, the second time was better as I asked to stay somewhere quieter. On a more positive note, friendly reception and appreciated being able to store my luggage, helpful that the airport transfer could be arranged and great location.

Loved this central located hotel in Cusco. The old South American hacienda feel with the white stone walls and dark woods and courtyards with two levels of rooms. Plus cosy bar, lounge, characterful breakfast room and restaurant and excellent staff made my short stay feel very special. The exterior hides an excellent hotel location to visit the exciting Cusco centre. The central area is a real buzz. Admittedly a lot of traffic go up and down tiny cobbled streets very close by but you feel a world away from it. The rooms are of high modern style and quality. My room had two comfy double beds but had a cosy feel I enjoyed. The hotel offers a number of room options. The bathroom was smart and had all the things you need. Walk in rain shower was excellent start to the day. Thoroughly recommended for character and location.

Wonderful staff. I came with a group tour which I had to leave due to ill health. Waiting for my travel insurance repatriation they let me stay in the room on a day to day basis (they were quiet so I know this would not be always available) but never made a fuss about it. They were also very good being a go between if my Dr or Travel company support rang and asked them to do something.

If you want to go out and party or go out on outdoor adventures. You are in the middle of it all if you like walking. They have luggage storage if you come back from being in a different adventure. The rooms were good size if you don’t want to hang out in the room, why would you anyway? Always clean and nice. Highly suggested to stay here

臨時找的一家民宿 因為前一家民宿熱水不夠的 illa bnb在山頂（需要爬坡） 不打車有行李箱需要注意 booking和ctrip都可以預訂 房東會拉whatsapp group 有問題直接問 房東直接發link付款 支持國際信用卡和銀聯 房子很大 有兩層 一層和負一層 從app上看 有三種房型 一種是普通的大床房 一種是帶廚房的mini flat 一種是帶廚房的豪華flat 餐廳可以看到Cusco大教堂 吹風 熱水壺是公用的 整個設計有點希臘 很舒適 我們的房間在進門處 可能會有一點點吵 晚上可以聽到外面的酒吧的聲音 但在Cusco的每天都很拉力 所以基本倒床就睡 我們定了mini flat 房間比照片看起來大多了 一個很大的客廳 餐廳 一個開放廚房 一個卧室 一個熱水很nice的浴室 可能是地區原因 Cusco這邊的民宿基本沒看到空調（但中午很熱 晚上很冷 一天2-23度 温差很大的）

A beautiful hotel, clean and pleasant. good service, delicious breakfast ,and the location is very good, it is not far from the historic center. From the day we booked they gave us good information and even gave us more information about other places. thank you guys for your kind attention.

Such a great hostel! Really good vibes, perfect chilling spots and very comfy beds. I was with a group of friends but it would be good for solo travellers too as we met loads of people. Very clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They also have free yoga classes on Thursday and Friday mornings if you love yoga!! Couldn’t recommend more.
