Great hotel, staff & location!! Wish I stayed longer!! Breakfast was complete & even accommodated gluten free! They open super early for those leaving for excursion at 4am!! Everyone was amazing & very friendly. Room was exactly what we needed, comfy bed & spacious bathroom!!!

I would say this is a 3.5 star hotel. It's 2 or 3 blocks from the plaza. Close enough to walk almost every you need to be for tours, but far enough for a good night’s rest. This, like other buildings in Cusco, is older & dated, so if you are expecting luxury, go stay at a “5 star” hotel outside of the plaza. Room was clean, bed was comfortable enough, had a safe, and space heater. Their daily breakfast buffet was great. I was on 2nd floor, so I could hear the lobby and restaurant when there were crowds. I recommend a higher level room if noise, for a little bit, bothers you. There’s no clock/alarm in room; just use your cell phone as one. Can you hear guests above you getting ready & closing doors at 3am? Yes, and it’s like that everywhere else that has tours starting that early. Overall, for the price and location, this was great for a solo traveler.

This hotel is indeed highly recommended for its scenic views and quite near to the Plaza Mayor de Armas. Highlight the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms, as well as the friendly and professional staff. The natural lighting and panoramic city and mountain views are definitely standout features! The room I got has a scenic view! Super worth the price, I’m telling you, you should get one with the scenic view if you stay here. And staff at the restaurant were so kind and accommodating.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff so friendly. The food was excellent. The staff accommodated my every need. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean and provided all that I needed for a pleasant stay. The housekeeping staff was meticulous in their cleaning of the rooms. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

This is a beautiful building in a great location. The doormen and reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with most amenities. I was however quite shocked to find paper cups in the room to drink tea from. I’ve never come across that before! I had to put one inside another so’s it didn’t bend when I picked it up. The bed was large and comfortable although it was quite noisy from very early in the morning as breakfast starts at 4.30. Breakfast was adequate although we found it hard to get orange juice. Papaya was the juice on offer . The bar and restaurant were very good. A great hotel in a great location to explore Cusco.

We were recommended to this hotel by Alpaca Expeditions. So glad they did. They really tried hard to help us with our needs, which can be extensive for Inca Trail travellers. Great staff and amenities for a great price. Clean, well taken care of and centrally located, all for a great price.

The Palacio Manco Capac in Cusco is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful and romantic decor of the hotel, grounds, and rooms. The view from the hotel is fantastic, offering stunning sights of Cusco and the surrounding mountains. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there, and every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Although the menu did not offer a breakfast buffet, the quality and taste of the food made up for it. The location is also a big plus. You can reach the old town quickly, making it easy to explore the historic sites and vibrant culture of Cusco. Despite its proximity to the city center, the hotel remains a peaceful and serene retreat. The service at the Palacio Manco Capac was first-class. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with any request. They made us feel very welcome and ensured that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, this hotel stands out as one of the best we have ever experienced. It combines fantastic food, beautiful decor, excellent service, and a great location to create a truly memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cusco!
