The Shark's Tail Dive Center

We absolutely loved both our stay and dives with Shark's Tail Resort. The divemasters (Nichael was ours he was amazing) and boat crew were all fun & had a good time with us while encouraging good diving practices. It was apparent that they care for preserving the sharks and the reefs. The boat was the nicest I saw in Malapascua. The resort was also lovely to stay at, really friendly staff and great restaurant/bar to hang out at. Recommend highly.

We stayed at The Sharkstail Dive Resort for 5 nights and do some dives. The diving was excellent, with clear water, healthy reefs, and a good mix of big and small marine life. The Instructors and Guides were knowledgeable, safety-focused, and great at finding interesting species. The resort itself was comfortable and well run. Rooms were clean, food was consistently good, and the dive facilities were well organized. Staff were friendly and always happy to help. Overall, a fantastic dive resort that I would happily return to and recommend to other divers/no divers.

We had a really enjoyable stay at The Shark’s Tail Dive Resort in Malapascua and would happily recommend it to other divers. The location is very convenient — close to the beach and dive operations, yet slightly tucked away so it still feels calm and private. Getting around the island was easy, and everything we needed was within walking distance. Our room was comfortable, clean, and practical, which is exactly what you want after full dive days. The air-conditioning worked well, the bed was comfortable, and housekeeping was reliable throughout our stay. For the overall experience, the resort offers very good value. Between the dive center, shared spaces, restaurant, and bar, it felt like a well-balanced dive resort rather than just a place to sleep. Noise was never an issue for us. Even though there’s a nice social vibe around the bar and common areas during the day, evenings were relaxed and quiet, and we slept well every night. The dive center is professionally run with a friendly and relaxed team. Planning dives was smooth and safety clearly came first. The restaurant and bar area quickly became our favorite place to unwind after diving — open, spacious, and comfortable, with good food and generous portions. We also loved the outdoor chill-out area, which was perfect for resting between dives or simply enjoying the island atmosphere. You can tell the resort is designed with divers in mind. If you’re looking for a laid-back dive resort with solid operations, a great atmosphere, and good value, The Shark’s Tail is an easy choice. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful vibe with a good atmosphere. Staff are friendly and will take good care of you. Great dives with the thresher sharks as well.

Me,and my Family went for a vacation last 3 days ago and we are so happy about our Room😍😍Staffs are helpful🤗 the diving was great ☺️ 🫰the boat crews and boat captain are energetic and funny 🤣 dive management ,instructors and Dive Masters are helpful and very Professional in every way😁😁shout out to the team special to the new Management 😍😍you guys are amazing😘. Rooms were not clean. We got to the room and we didn’t have aircon or hot water which we had asked for. So we moved to a different room but had to pay 1500 peso extra for aircon and a hot shower. The hot shower system wasn’t working at all and hairs from previous guests were still in the shower drain. We moved after 2 nights because we found something for the same price much much cleaner, with warm water, aircon, breakfast included and on the beach. Unfortunately after diving I left my bikini and undies to dry in the bathroom and forgot to pack them when we went to the new place. ( yes I know this is my fault) The same day I went back to ask if they found them and if I could please get them back as I knew I left them there. They said they didn’t found my bikini but they did find my undies which I find very very strange as they where right next to each other…. Don’t recommend staying here, there is other places on malapascau which are nicer and cleaner for the same price.

we recently stayed here for 4 nights. The place is in need of investment and cleanliness. When we arrived, after a very long trip, the room wasn't ready for us. When they eventually got the room ready, the bathroom was dirty, one of the two lights in the room wasn't working and the additional bed they provided was far from adequate.. The bathroom was cleaned the following day and the bed and lightbulb were replaced as well. The whole place seems very run down, it put us off considering diving with them. Leuk spontaan ontvangen bij de receptie en verrast door de mooie groene tuin waar de verschillende soorten kamers zijn. In het duik centrum een prima uitleg gehad wat er mogelijk is om tegaan duiken met de voshaaien. Ook heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant waar een veelzijdige kaart beschikbaar is en zeker terug kom om meerdere gerechten teproberen
