Ulasan Shuimingyang Hotel

This hotel is located right in the center of Shuanglang Ancient Town. The staff helped with our luggage, which was very convenient. Our room had a direct view of Erhai Lake from the window, and we could watch the sunset from the balcony. The afternoon tea and complimentary sweet soup at night were a thoughtful touch. They also provided snacks, drinks, beer, face masks, and sun cream, which was incredibly considerate! The photo-op settings, like the swing over the water, were very well-designed and our child absolutely loved them. However, the photographer was just average, and at 30 RMB per photo, it was more expensive than other hotels.

Our room was right by the water, and we could see Erhai Lake the moment we opened the window. It's a shame we visited in the wrong season, so we didn't spot many seagulls. The public area on the ground floor is beautifully designed, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a vacation. Plus, they even offer a complimentary travel photoshoot!

The hotel is situated right on the edge of Erhai Lake; as soon as you open the room door, you're greeted with stunning views of both Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful, and the hotel's environment and cleanliness are excellent. They offer breakfast, afternoon tea, and sweet soup in the evening every day—it's incredibly generous! I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

I had a wonderful stay in Yunnan. The staff were polite and helpful, especially with our luggage. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast suited our tastes deliciously. Plus, the complimentary professional photo shoot was a delightful extra. If I return to this country, I will definitely rebook this hotel. Highly recommended!

This hotel is right in the ancient town, making it super convenient for shopping. Although it's tucked away at the end of a small alley, and the alley itself might not be the prettiest due to its age and some ongoing renovations, it absolutely doesn't detract from how much I loved the hotel. The shuttle driver was incredibly enthusiastic, helping with luggage, and even greeting us warmly when we ran into him while out and about. The other staff members also provided excellent service. On sunny days, the hotel's public areas are incredibly photogenic, and sitting on the balcony watching the sunset was so relaxing. The hotel breakfast was quite generous; beyond the platters, there was a good variety of main courses to choose from. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance.

Wonderful service, good breakfast, room is clean and bright with complimentary snacks, fruits, minibar and afternoon tea. I was not feeling well and extended another day stay here. Location is good and easy to explore 双廊 and go back to rest whenever necessary.

The hotel is located right next to Erhai Lake, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery without even stepping outside. The breakfast is very comprehensive and delicious. They even provide sweet soup at night and deliver it directly to the room. The room has a variety of complimentary snacks and drinks, and the toiletries are exceptionally comprehensive, including moisturizing face masks and eye masks. The front desk offers attentive service, even proactively picking up items for the guests from the parcel collection point. The hotel’s photography service is also outstanding—we truly loved every single photo.

The breakfast was excellent, and the service was great.

This time, I stayed in the Cloud Eight family room with my child. It had two interconnected bedrooms and a floor-to-ceiling window facing the sea, offering an unbeatable view. The only drawback was the lack of a balcony; to enjoy the sea breeze, you had to go to the public balconies on the first or second floor. The made-to-order breakfast was incredibly delicious, and the Bai ethnic auntie's service attitude was excellent. They also offered free afternoon tea and evening desserts, which were super delightful. The only minor inconvenience was that taxis couldn't reach the alley entrance, requiring a 5-minute walk to the nearby parking lot. However, if you're only planning to eat and stroll around Shuanglang, it's still very convenient.

Highly recommend this place! It's a top pick, seriously. There are no downsides whatsoever. Every request I made to the staff was perfectly handled, very efficiently. Excellent location with a direct sea view. The common areas are very relaxing and perfect for taking photos. Breakfast is rich and varied, plus there’s afternoon tea and even desserts at night. Amazing value for money!

Good location but the place needs a facelift. It’s charming and quiet but for the price range - not exceeding expectations.

It was a small hotel with limited rooms. Less crowd and very peaceful. The lady (not sure if she was the owner) was very attentive to all our needs. I missed a step and had a strain, ended up hobbling around. When she saw it she immediately bought me a local antiinflammatory spray. The common area of the hotel was beautiful, direct waterfront access with a beautiful swing that my kids loved. Room was clean and toilet had heating, making the winter more bearable. There was breakfast, afternoon tea and goodnight soup daily. Absolutely loved the cosy stay here 👍
