This guesthouse, a converted old mansion, boasts an amazing location. It's just a few minutes' walk to the main street of the ancient town, offering a quiet retreat while still being close to the action. The service is warm and attentive. It's an unforgettable and comfortable experience that I highly recommend!

The mattress in the room was incredibly comfortable, and the individual air conditioning allowed for precise temperature control. The antique house's decor has a distinct Dali flair, and even the smallest details like the toiletries were well-stocked. The butler service was also very thoughtful. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Dali!

The hotel boasts unique decor and design, with warm, attentive staff who provide quick service. The rooms have great natural light and ventilation, the bathroom comes with a full set of disposable amenities, and the bedding is very comfortable.

The inn is charmingly antique and full of character! The old house has been tastefully renovated, with every brick and piece of wood exuding a sense of history. The courtyard is quiet and elegant; sitting on a lounge chair, basking in the sun, and sipping tea truly makes time slow down, allowing for an authentic experience of Dali's laid-back atmosphere.

This guesthouse is really great! The decor has an antique charm and is very unique. The room was clean and odor-free, and the small decorations were thoughtfully placed, showing the owner has excellent taste. The reception staff were friendly and check-in was quick. The price is reasonable, it's really good, I recommend it to everyone!

Had a fantastic time traveling with my friend as planned, and the hotel we booked was absolutely perfect. The inn had a great ambiance, very photogenic, and the room was well-equipped with excellent soundproofing.

The location is incredibly convenient! Right inside the ancient city, you can quickly return to your quiet 'home' after exploring and dining. The rooms are clean and tidy, with modern facilities that perfectly blend with the quaint exterior. The service is friendly, like old friends, always ready to answer any questions.

Very beautiful hotel with a gorgeous authentic courtyard and nice rooms. It is located a short walk outside of the bustling centre and because of this, the Didi can get to 1 minute from the front door.

The inn is a wooden courtyard-style old residence, full of ancient charm and historical character. The ambiance is great, the rooms are very clean and hygienic, and the facilities are complete. The staff are also very enthusiastic.

Lots of dining options nearby, the front desk service is excellent, and the cleanliness is exceptional. It's great value for money and the location is superb, with convenient transportation and close proximity to attractions.

This place was perfect. Both the laoban/owner and the staff were so nice and gave plenty of recommendations. The house itself is beautiful and well maintained. Its location cannot be beat—you’re right next to everything without the noise or the tourists. The breakfasts were hearty and filling, and the bikes they have for free use were awesome. Highly recommend biking out to Erhai and even around the farm lands. I would definitely return to Xizhou and would choose to stay here again and again.

Nice place & friendly host

Keep in mind these aspects of you consider loft room. Despite of all good reviews, this hotel won't suit needs of every traveler. If you are the one who prefers silence and comfort, this place is not for you. Especially for the loft room. Entrance to the room is located right in reception desk area. When you go in our out of your room, you may see people sitting nearly next to your door. Sense of privacy is compromised. It's like you're leaving public toilet in the lobby of any office area. Not to mention that other guests will be having breakfast right there. Bedroom in the loft has a wooden ceiling bar, and if you're 180 cm and above, you're most likely to hit it with your head if you're are to go downstairs at night. The hand rail on the stairs was wobbly. At Winter it is cold, and there is no conditioner downstairs, heater barely works. But still better than nothing. Heater at bathroom did not work at all. Apart from that, it is a unique place. Super friendly owners. The room has awesome couch to sit on, and large modern TV. The room has plants, and this is something I have never seen after being many years in China. Authentic decoration elements is something to appreciate as well.

Loved the place! Do take note it is slightly further away from the heart of the town so it may be a little quiet to walk back at night. Cars also can’t stop right outside the accoms so you’ll have to lug your luggage for a short distance - cabs may have some difficulty looking for the place. Nonetheless, room looked amazing and comes with heater, bed warmer, hot water, good quality amenities, books available in the room to read. Loved the vibes and it was very peaceful and quiet. Communicated quick questions via WeChat and they were also very responsive.
