A slice of modern heaven in the ancient city of Dali. Just off the main road in the heart of bustling crowds, this property will wish you had booked longer. It seems like a mix of modern Dutch style while keeping the traditional Chinese element. The hospitality is second to none with personalization and caring as if you are at a 5 star resort. Everything is new, fresh and clean. The library is a comfortable place to relax with a book, looking out into the garden and watching the koi fish. It rained over night and the pitter patter seemed to be a design to help slept to the sound. The only recommendation I would make is to have the path way to the hotel more lighted as it is dark when returning to the hotel. They even reserved our charter to Lijiang and cared for us at dinner. Can't wait to come back. Thank You!

The room was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The flowers in the little courtyard were beautiful, and it was super convenient for exploring the ancient town. Highly recommend! The rooftop is absolutely perfect for photos and incredibly photogenic!

The owner was exceptionally welcoming and attentive. He proactively reached out to confirm our arrival time and shared the closest drop-off point. Upon our arrival, he even met us with an umbrella and helped carry our luggage. The accommodations featured smart toilets, and the courtyard boasted a lovely ambiance—a quiet oasis amidst the bustle. The rooftop offered stunning views, perfect for taking photos. He also offered valuable dining tips for the ancient city and, to our surprise, presented us with a thoughtful souvenir upon check-out. We're so grateful for this warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home in an unfamiliar city. 👍👍👍👍👍

We stayed for 2 nights and love this place Very convenient location and accessible to all the must go places. Many food and drinking choices are around, too. Owner is helpful when suggesting places for us to visit. Even booked our driver and planned our itinerary. Highly recommended!

Good location within the ancient city, and near to the entrance so I didn't have to drag my luggage on the cobblestone. Fantastic hospitality by the owner and it comes with intelligent toilet too 😀

The hotel located at dali old town entrance very easy to navigate and not very far from attraction. Request a halal food from hotel and the serve vegetarian food so nice. I didn’t know the hotel include breakfast. Very advanced and tecnology bathroom. Don’t worry as a malaysian muslim the bathroom very okay. got seat heater lagi kauu. if next time i will repeat this hotel

We had a very pleasant. It’s a small boutique hotel located within the ancient town but slightly inside an alley so is quiet despite the proximity to restaurants and bars. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty substantial and good. The staff, Mr Tai and Mr Chau were extremely friendly and helpful. We had left our passports at an attraction and Mr Tai helped us retrieve them, giving relevant advice on what to do. Mr Chau even took me by bike to make a police report. Highly recommended place. 

Friendly & helpful staff. Great location, which is within the ancient city. Staff helped to carry the luggage up & down the stairs as well as to the main road for transport.

Location: in the middle of 大理古城. Need to consider how to go inside as peak hour, car cannot go inside. Room: overall is good as in we only stay for one night. It’s quite clean. Food: breakfast is good.

Booked transport from the hotel so it was convenient as staff came out to meet us alongside the road to bring us to the stay. Location near the Main road so easy to get didi. Simple breakfast. Can smell smoke if people around smoke. Otherwise place was clean and decent. Hotel prepared some snacks for us too as we had to miss breakfast on 2nd day to catch train.
