Very nice and charming hotel in the ancient town. The hotel is in a pedestrian street but complementary pick up and drop off service from the nearest road is available. The staff have been very attentive and proactive to make us feel comfortable. The room was very spacious and with good views to a courtyard. This hotel is a very good choice if you want to stay inside the old town and have all the comfort of a 5 star hotel.

Excellent stay in Honglongjing hotel. Nested in the heart of Dali ancient town, you will experience Dali's vibrant atmosphere and bustling streets. The hotel's service is impeccable. Service was prompt and we were treated to Chinese tea ceremony. The villa rooms were very spotless. The only downside was the road closures around the ancient town. This made it difficult to get to the hotel with luggage. You need a 5-10 min walk to get to the hotel as buses and cars are not allowed in the ancient town. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience

Definitely a feel of premium living in this hotel. Rooms are comfortable and all around the hotel tastefully decorated. It’s close to walking street with many eating options nearby. Breakfast spread is good. Staff are very helpful too.

All of things are good location , very clean, design, facilities,breakfast . Just little trouble of move in and out due to the ancient city not allowing the car  into the walking streets , but the hotel staff is very helpfully .

Location is great, located inside the Dali old town. They offer luggage pick up service from the parking outside as cars are not allowed to enter the old town. Stayed 1 night here , room is very spacious & clean, bed is comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet spread of western & Chinese, not bad. Take note when you’re checking out in the morning, inform them 30 min earlier to come pick up your luggage as I’ve waited close to 20 min for them to pick up.

The hotel is located in the center of the Dali ancient town, and within walking distance to all the tourist sights within the pedestrians-only areas. The disadvantage is that vehicles are not allowed within the wall city from 8am to 8pm, so visitors need to walk a short distance (about 10 minutes) to the hotel from the nearest drop-off point. The hotel does provide pick-up service using tricycle if you make the request early during booking, and also at check-out. Rooms are quite large, tidy and comfortable. Was given one with good view of the mountains. The restaurant provides tasty local meals but price is quite expensive. There are many restaurants right outside the hotel.

Service staff were consistently great from front office, housekeeping to F&B. Heated pool would have been a good addition to wean off tiring legs from walking around Ancient city.
