Best staff ever. Super friendly and welcoming and helpful. Facilities are great, especially the tea room. The location is very quiet.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Requested her assistance to get us a driver to pick us up from the station to the homestay as we brought quite a lot of luggage. Booked two rooms for two single beds and got a free upgrade to a family room upon arrival! Both rooms were spacious and well cleaned. Can access to rooftop for sunrise and there’s a freebie which you can take it back home. Walkable distance to dali ancient city south entrance, along the way was all the breakfast shop and mart, super convenient location 👍🏻

Hotel is well located within an alley, with a short walk up-slope brings you to Wenxian Road (文献路). The entire stretch is quite happening, usually vehicles can't get there and walking along the road eventually brings you to the Dali Ancient City South Gate (大理古城南门). There are lots of food options along this road and convenience store is just at the end of the slope (less than 2 minutes walk). Even though it is located within an alley, cars can still get to the hotel so no issues if you are travelling with luggages. Just take note that the hotel do not have any elevators, so do check the room level before booking. I purposely booked mine knowing it is at Level 1 because I'm travelling with my parents. The hotel staffs were extremely friendly and welcoming, greeting us every time we headed out or returned. Even helping us with our luggages as there were a few steps from the main gate to the road. The area is pretty safe and hotel closes the main gate at night, only people with the room card is able to get in. We spent 2 nights here and definitely had an enjoyable stay!

I cannot recommend this hotel more. 11/10 will be booking here the next time I am in Dali again. The front desk was amazing and super responsive. Very knowledgeable and always guided us to the best places to visit!

We had a great stay at this guest house! The room was clean and had a nice view, comfy beds and pillows. The location is convenient, with plenty of local spots nearby where you can grab breakfast. There is also a lovely European-style cafe nearby called Curiosity, highly recommend 🤌The staff were really friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome! We’d definitely stay here again!

The staff were super warm and friendly. We had an issue with our room and they were very apologetic and even upgraded us. Location was also fantastic. Will definitely return if I visit Dali again!

The room was very spacious and the heated mattress was a highlight in January. The room was sparkling clean and had a nice view from the window. It is a 20-min walk to the north gate which is the busiest part of the old town. However, a lot of street food is available within 5-minute walk from the hotel. The staff was super friendly and nice - always tried to help.
