The hotel location is within the ancient town, with a slight walk from the main ancient town which is good so that you don’t hear the noise from the clubs/ pubs. The room is big enough for 2 big luggages to be opened. The view is really pretty from the breakfast place. The room is a bit dated, but good enough especially for the price. There is also heater in both the main room and also the toilet, so winter is much more comfortable. They also provide free photography service for people who stays with them. 5 free digital pictures, but that’s also a ‘bait’ to buy more photos. There is no pressure into buying the photos. So that’s really great. The photography service is really good, so we ended up buying all the edited photos. The only down side is the renovation of the building next to the hotel, the noise from the Reno starts from 8am ish to 6.30pm. So it doesn’t affect our sleep which is good.

This is a very nice hotel in Shuanglang ancient city. The hotel room have a nice view facing Cangshan and Erhai. The room is very spacious, clean and bed is comfortable. Staffs are very helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Xiao Lee for the good service and call us 1 day before to arrange for the pick up at the ancient city entrance to the hotel. They offer nice tea break and variety breakfast. We enjoy our stay here. Recommended to stay at this hotel.

This the prettiest place i have ever stayed! the view, location, service and cleanliness were perfect! As it is located in a small town, cars were not able to enter. but the butler, especially my butler 小徐, met me at the entrance of the town and helped to carry my luggage to the apartment directly. He is also very patient and welcoming. During the stay if i have any qns, he is always contactable via wechat.

The hotel service was good. We had free photoshoot session , picked 3 edited pictures only. The hotel reception was friendly, we couldn’t really speak chinese so he helped us to make some contacts with the local. Hotel is clean and neat . The hotel is 2 hours to Lijiang so we took a shared transport arranged by the reception instead of going to the train station. 👍

One of the best hotel that we have stayed at! We can just sit at our balcony to enjoy the view of Er Hai and Cang Shan! We can also see the seagulls at the comfort of our balcony! My son and I enjoyed the heated pool in our room and the breakfast provided were fantastic! We also enjoyed the free photo shoot experience! The photographer was very professional and we liked the photos a lot!

The housekeeper 六斤 was very friendly and providing good service. As the hotel is located inside the ancient town, he picked me up from the meeting point and sent me off to take public transport too. The hotel is as photo shown. The breakfast is delicious and the view is nice. Generally the staff are very friendly. They even serve dessert at night. As it is located inside the ancient town, it is smaller than Dali ancient city, so is less crowded and more relaxing. Recommended for those who looking for more relaxing and slow getaway.
