The electrical wiring was faulty, I don't know if it's old or what. My wife and kids were asleep, and this one light (directly above their heads) stayed on all night, making it impossible to sleep. Afraid of waking my wife, I called the front desk only after she woke up. A repairman came and worked on it for a while before finally turning it off (the process was quite noisy). Hotels are supposed to provide a good rest, but this was a disjointed experience. Even an apology afterward would have been appreciated. They didn't even apologize for this experience. They didn't even provide laundry bags! I don't know where those came from. I asked the front desk to pack the dried clothes and bring them up, and they agreed, but they were still in the dryer the next day. Service: Unacceptable.

The room was nice, and the front desk service was good. This negative review is for the lady who cooks noodles at the night market. I've eaten there twice since I checked in. The first time, with twenty minutes left before closing time, she was extremely impatient, as if I was delaying her from finishing her work. The second time, and most recently, her attitude was equally bad, and the noodles she gave me were lukewarm or even cold. It's a pretty good hotel, but all the bad experiences were caused by this lady. I will stay there again, but if she continues like this, I will give her a negative review every time I stay.

The place was dirty and messy; the breakfast selection was limited, and I got diarrhea after eating it. The security guards were extremely rude, the rooms were small, and the bathroom doorknob kept swinging around.

Negative review. Service: The cleaning staff came to knock on the door at 9 am, but it was terrible. The vacuum cleaner in the hallway was constantly running and extremely noisy.

From check-in onwards, the staff kept asking to add me on WeChat and send me a template for a positive review, hoping to get the hotel listed on Ctrip. If you chose this hotel because you've stayed at other Meilihao hotels in other cities, don't bother coming back; it's very different. The hotel seems to be a converted old factory area. One male waiter who claimed to be the hotel manager, wearing glasses, with a beer belly and a buzz cut, had a very arrogant and extremely poor service attitude. The breakfast selection was limited.
